Sheila was feeling low and frustrated not seeing Hugo for the last four days.
" Maybe he got tired of me and my unreasonable nagging." she thought herself,she feels that she'd done a grave thing accusing him without proofs. If only he would return she would try to make it right, and bring back the sweet and harmonious relationship that was broken by her baseless accusations.
When she opened the door to her apartment her nostrils was assaulted by a familiar smell coming from the kitchen. There's no doubt in her mind her lover has returned. running to their small kitchen she found him cooking with an apron and wearing nothing but a pair of shorts.
As he turn around he found her staring at him with tears brimming in her eyes.
He was somewhat lost for words will she send him away or accept him back?
" I'm sorry sweetheart. " was all he can uttered.
She wasn't able to hold back the tears as she took the few steps that separate them and landed to him wide opened arms.
"No it should be me who should be apologising, I'm sorry for all the baseless accusations I hurled on you ." as tears readily flow into her eyes.
Hugo just let her cry her eyes out while caressing her hair and back as to sooth her turbulent emotions.
"I thought.... you would... not come back. " she said in between hiccups.
"Silly where will I be ? you're my home my everything, as long as you'll have me I'm yours." as he kiss her so tenderly.
"From now on let's not fight, I'll make it up to you. just let me save up and we will get married just be patient okay?"
"Yes, forgive me love." she replied, in between tears and laughter.
"Silly girl. just give ten minutes dinner will be ready, go freshen up." he continued cooking while whistling a happy tune as he finished cooking Sheila's favorite meal.
She turned and went to the bathroom to wash thinking that nothing has change he was still the man she fell in love with, he doesn't mind who does the household chores as long as he's free he doesn't wait for her.
Things went back to normal Hugo is the same as before, except for the most important thing they have to settle the differences that cause them to fall apart. Sheila was trying hard to be more understanding both their situation. On the surface it seems that they are back to how it used to be to the both of them, but still she still have those nagging feelings that she tried very hard to suppressed.

One night going home late thinking that Hugo is out of town she will be alone again in their apartment she work overtime. on the way she spotted Hugo or thought it was him going inside a bar in one of the red district notorious for its gambling, gangsters and women with low morals giving sexual pleasure in exchange for monetary favors. This is also the place where there's a high crime rate in the city. She was able to passed by the place because her taxi had to make a detour due to a traffic cause by an accident on the main road.

On one of this night when Hugo was out of town Shjela was waken up when she felt him laying down beside her thinking that he had finished his business earlier she just gone back to sleep, but she felt him move and brutally assault her and force her to have sex with, which is out of character feeling that there is something wrong she hit the switch button on just above her head to illuminate the room and was shock to discover that there was a stranger in her room.
