6 months have passed since the end of the war, since Eureka left for another adventure.

Almost all their lives have returned to normal. They were able to live like how they lived before Juzo tried to destroy everything.

"What the hell was up with that letter of yours?" Hideyoshi asked Raven.

On this day, all eight of them were together for the first time in six months.

Nana have returned after another two weeks of staying in Confederate kingdom, currently she's just waiting for Natsuki to come and pick her up. She's waiting diligently for she knows that Confederate haven't truly settled down yet.

Hideyoshi and the other three, finished all their jobs at the border. No, they were rushed to finish everything within that six months by the letter sent by Raven.

All eight of them are sitting in a meeting room within the castle. Rino who was almost ready to take up the throne is the one overseeing the meeting.

Three months after the war, Raven talked once again to Akihiro and Rino regarding the rebels. Akihiro left the decision to Rino, in which Rino decided to have Raven send letters to the other four who were in the border.

They were tasked to finish up all the loose ends on another three months and must return to the kingdom after doing so.

The rebels have indeed left the kingdom, some have stayed to spy on them but was easily lead astray by Raven and the other knights, this is in order for those rebels to think that the higher ups haven't noticed yet that they are planning to go against the kingdom. They also knew that the rebels from their kingdom might meet up with the rebels of the other kingdoms.

"Just as I said in the letter, our next opponents would be the rebels. This might end up being ridiculous but those people might start experimenting in order to regain their abilities back," Raven seriously said as he look at the others.

"That's right, no matter what time or where you are. Darkness will always be there, those who couldn't accept such changes would surely find ways to take back what they lost. We can no longer afford for them to expand even more," Rino added.

This mission was left to them, the next generation. The other generals and Yukimura chose to step back in this. They have to start training others in order for the kingdom to remain strong despite people stepping down from their positions.

They were only tasked to watch over and give help when everything goes out of hand. But they have confidence for this group of young people.

Though Nana shouldn't be among them, Akihiro wanted her to just remain studying the ways of being the queen. But Nana's retort left him lost for words.

("I'll participate father. We are still in a time where we can't relax that much. Indeed Juzo and the others have disappeared but surely others would rise back up and threaten the peace we have once again. I'll only stop being a knight once I am married.")

They have trained a lot of knights already, some have already shown their strength. But some of the rebels were knights as well and their strength aren't a joke either.

Nana, who matured so much ever since she and Eureka had that fight back when she just woke up, never wanted to see people die. Some of them were just given the chance to live one more time but the grief their loved ones felt will forever be there.

She heard as well, that during the beginning a lot of the people were having nightmares about the death of their family. If she can give them more time to be together then she wouldn't mind taking up her sword and remain as a knight until she herself settles.

"So are we going hunting then?" Mamoru asked after listening to Raven and Rino's explanation.

"Not yet, almost all of us have paper works for the past six months. They haven't done anything major yet. You were called in preparation to stop them once they do something," Rino replied.

That is right, they've seen and heard a few words about these people wanting to regain their abilities but even with those, they haven't truly done anything yet. They just chose to leave the kingdom, so raising their swords against them was not a proper way of doing things.

"We, including me and Nana, shall start training once again. It might just be six months and you might have swang your swords while you were on break back in the borders. But that was just a few hours a day, we won't know if we have deteriorated or not."

Nana actually was not included in this since among them she was the only one weilding bow and arrow, she had even trained with it during her day offs and on her travels.

Rino looked at each of them, "Our physical strengths were also enhanced by our abilities. With all of these gone surely there would be a change to it."

"I've noticed it with my arrows, the distance and strength of my shooting have dropped significantly. It was back when I had a duel in Confederate Kingdom. Though I easily won I knew that that was not my full potential and there should still be improvement if I train even more," Nana added afterwards.

The others nodded upon hearing this.

"I too noticed something. Whenever I have the time and swing my sword, I always feel tired faster. I didn't have much thought about it back then but now that I look back, it seems that that was the case," Karen added after thinking back to her own training.

"As for me, despite training with some knights and doing the daily inspections around the kingdom city. I think I too have a drop in strength and agility," Azusa followed.

As they look back, each of them noticed how they have indeed lost quite a lot of their physical capabilities. That is, except for Raven, whose duty was to train the knights.

He knew, though, that a change would happen after they lost their abilities. He tried sparring with some generals and even his father and noticed his own strength not the same as back then.

But his father and those generals noticed their own strengths as well. That is why even those elders started training their bodies.

"And I think compared to the others, me, Hideyoshi, Mamoru, Feena and Karen. Theo mights also be one, our strengths have dropped even more," Raven commented as he looked back to those times.

His words made them realize something.

"The price?!?" Karen asked in shock.

That's right, the price for their additional strength back then was that they would become much weaker and those that they lost would be used by the ones guarding the sealed darkness.

Since the Reset, they didn't think much about it. Their abilities were gone and there was so much work, they have completely forgotten about it.

"So it was not only our abilities that would have a tremendous drop but even our physical capabilities?" Feena followed after Karen's question.

"Hmmmm, this is indeed out of our expectations. But a drop doesn't mean that we couldn't get it back. Very well then, you four should train much more than before," Rino then said.

He didn't include Raven for he knows that this man had been training diligently after realizing that his strength have dropped.

"Send a letter to Archic Kingdom. Inform Theo about this, he might be using a bow and arrow but surely his physical strength have dropped as well," he then added as he look at Raven.

"I understand."

"With all that, you will still be given a few tasks in here but your afternoon shall be dedicated for the training. I will also spare time to train with you. We can't just sit idly and think that even those people have lost their strength. Being cautious is still the best thing that we should do," Rino ended their meeting with such words.

He then gave each of them there tasks, ranging from inspections, to gathering more information about the rebels,  to training the knights,  to paper works.

"You shall be coming with me," Nana said after Karen was not given any task at all.

"Is my job to be done with you?" she asked in curiosity.

Nana smiled as she nodded. Each of them bid their goodbyes, the other four returned last night. And so after their meeting this morning, they are to go straight to their tasks. The afternoon shall be used just as they have planned.

Upon entering the library, Nana went straight in taking down some books. One by one it piled up in Karen's arms.

"Uhmmm Nana? What are we going to do with these?" she asked as she was about to drown from all the books.

"Your task is to read and study all that. That is for today but the next days, your morning shall be divided in different lessons. And since we have just informed the teachers, they really can't come now can they? So start by reading that," Nana replied with a smile as she placed another book in Karen's arms.

There were a total of 10 books now.

"Lessons?"

"Well, you are a noble but of course to be the queen there are still other lessons you have to know right?"

*CRASH*

All the books in Karen's arms dropped as she looked at Nana in shock.

"Yes my dear, the task my brother have given you is to be his queen. So shall we start?" Nana said amusedly.
