The whole place was quiet. They were nervous and the silence was nerve racking.

The day has finally come, the day where they decide something for Eureka. Something each of them would think that it was the best for her.

"I got here the four choices of those from the other two kingdoms. It is time for us in here to write what we all think would be the best for her," Akihiro started as he looked at each of the person inside.

Raven, Rino, Hideyoshi, Mamoru, Karen, Azusa, Feena, Akihiro, Haruka and Kaoru. Adding with the other four's vote, there would be a total of fourteen votes.

"Writing would just prolong it, why don't we just raise our hands?" Akihiro after some thought once again added.

The others nodded in acceptance.

"There will only be one question and the remaining will have the other answer," he then added.

He didn't bother opening the letters yet, he will do so after everyone have casted their votes.

"Raise your hands if you want her to remember."

Azusa, Akihiro, Kaoru and Raven raised their hands.

Currently four against six. He then took out the two papers and check their choices and to his dread, it was three against one. Three wanted her to remember and there's only one who didn't.

Suzuki after reading all the developments didn't want Eureka to go through another round of pain. Even with Theo's persuassion, she still chose to allow Eureka to live in ignorance.

"*sigh* It's a tie," Akihiro sighed as he placed down the two papers.

The thing they didn't want to happen actually happened.

"Azusa, you have seen how much in pain she was, her trauma and nightmares must have run deeper than what we all think," Feena faced Azusa and said.

"Raven was there to help her," Azusa argued back.

"Well, Raven can't always be there. And have you seen? She was not even talking about it," Karen argued back.

"Then what, we let her live in ignorance? Isn't that much more painful? This applies to you, to us her family, we lived in ignorance of her identity but didn't it pain us as well, when we found out?" Kaoru interjected.

Soon everyone have started arguing back and forth. Raven was the only one who remained silent.

In reality he already had an idea of what may be the outcome of this, he was only unsure of those other four. But he had bet that the outcome would be a tie if he chose to allow her to remember.

He wants to listen how everyone evaluated the situation, he wanted to see whether whatever he had witnessed, they have witnessed more, he wanted to see their own point of view.

After listening to them, even he started wondering what should his choice be. He only chose to make her remember because of his bet that it would be a tie if he did.

"ENOUGH!!" Akihiro finally stopped everything.

He was also arguing back and forth but soon he realized that things won't go anywhere with what they were doing. He then noticed how Raven remained silent and diligently listened to their own arguments.

"Maybe we should call more people who were once close to her?" Haruka then added.

She didn't want to make Eureka remember because of the fear she had shown with all the things she had a glimpse of. And with her calm look, Haruka just wanted her daughter to finally be at peace.

Akihiro shook his head, "I have realized that what we all thought as a nice way to vote, would actually bring unending arguments. I didn't bother with the recommendation of the other two kingdoms, thinking back maybe they were right."

"For some odd reason both of them have actually decided to actually leave everything to Raven instead."

Raven who was always able to stay in control with his thoughts, didn't expect such recommendation. But before he could speak, Akihiro once again spoke.

"I say, who among you would want to leave this in Raven's decision. We have already said our piece anyway."

Akihiro, Haruka and Kaoru raised their hands. Raven would still be their chosen one for Eureka. He shall be her future, his decision shall have more weight than theirs.

Slowly each of them started raising their hands and the only one who didn't was Raven himself.

Seeing that it was a landslide decision, he could only bitterly smile, 'Ah, how cruel.'

He didn't speak but he felt like he was cheated. This was a major decision but in the end they actually left everything to him? How will he know that his choice was actually the best for her?

"Raven, I know this is a real difficult decision, but in reality when those two letters arrived and I've read their recommendation, I found it plausible. I actually thought that it would be for the best," Akihiro once again said.

"This..."

Since he didn't expect this outcome he felt like his mind turned blank, he actually couldn't think of anything.

He was just planning to interject his own opinions and thoughts once he heard all of theirs but before he could organize them, he was already thrown into such a condition.

"Can I have more time regarding that?" was all he could say.

"Very well, but each of us shall tell what we have noticed, what we all think and the reason why we chose our choices," Akihiro accepted.

He still remembered that back then he chose to let Haruka lived in ignorance, but the time didn't allow him to do so. When he asked Haruka if she would have been happier if she didn't know and the fact that their children has actually no chance of living.

Her reply was that, if indeed their children are already dead, she would have chosen to forget. But the circumstances were different and so she was the happiest that she was able to be with him all over again.

Who would have thought that they would actually be in the same situation as back then, but this time it was about their daughter.

Their meeting ended with actually nothing, they returned to square one where the decision of her remembering or not was not yet decided.

*****

"That is the difficulty  for you humans, your decisions aren't always firm. You easily get swayed by the people around you. Let's see how this man would actually decide," the almighty one commented as he watch them from a far.

He then turned and looked up at the sky, "Well in reality no matter what your decision is, her outcome was already decided."

"If you ask me she is the cruel one, no matter what you choose everything was already decided. If you have just chosen sooner then everything would have been over. Yet you all chose to wait in more agony."

He then rub his chin, "But oh well, it showed me another entertaining thing. Really until the end she gives me so much entertainment."

He then looked at one side, towards the city.

"It seems that they are planning to go through with their plans. *shakes head* No matter what one does, darkness will always be darkness. Let's see how things will unfold this time."

He slowly blended to the darkness as he muttered these words. He was no longer shocked to know such things, at the same time, it was not for him to meddle too much with the events in the human world.

That's right, just like how he acted in the past, not unless he was instructed to do so, he would never go overboard and do something for this world.

*****

"Are you sure about that?" the one who glared at Eureka asked the one in front of him.

"Yes, the princess will have her first visit to the border. But there would be some guards around her."

"Nah, that could easily be resolved. Since they are already enjoying their time of having no abilities. They would never think that, they have become lax in the end," he laughed as he replied.

An evil smile appeared in his face, "We will get it back, get back the ones that we lost. After five years of research, we finally found a light. That girl who was able to survive that great war. The first child to be born."

He then looked at the picture in his hand, "With experiments, surely we would find a way to bring back our abilities."

The picture in his hand, was of Hikari's smiling face.

"That's right, her aide would be with her as well," the other man then reported.

"That woman? I've heard it was her who stopped the arrow and caught that archer. Have you any idea who she is?"

"It seems she was from a different place. But I've also heard that she did everything in instinct and that she had no proper training," he said, remembering the details about Eureka.

"Well, if that is the case, she will surely fall for our trap as well. No need to worry about that woman."

'But why do I really feel so much hatred for that person? I never met her in the past, haven't I?'

Both went on their own way.
