"Anyway I've done everything you tasked me to. It's time for me to leave," Dai replied as he finally stood up.

He indeed intended not to truly get involved at the beginning but seeing all her efforts that no other human have done, he somehow found it in himself to give her that favor.

"Allow me..."

He heard her say, upon looking back she was already on one knee and her head was bowed down.

"You are the almighty one, one flick of your finger and this world could disappear anytime. It is indeed true that you can't interfere but you still gave this lowly one  a favor or two."

"You could have just erased my memory of your identity but you stand by your own principles even giving yourself some conditions. That is why, please do allow me to offer you my sincerest gratitude for everything that you have done."

Eureka bowed even more as a sign of her gratitude. Dai was taken a back but he just harrumphed and turned away, but an obvious smile was plastered in his face.

Eureka smiled after she raised her head and saw that he was indeed gone. She walked to the window and looked up at the sky.

"Ao, Zu, I have returned. Thank you for everything."

*****

"You're leaving?" Akihiro was flabbergasted upon hearing Dai's words.

It was close to midnight when Dai looked for him and told him of his plans.

"I have once said, your highness. When the time comes I will also leave. Right now, I know it is already that time. I have stayed here for so long and experienced so many things."

He looked up and looked straight at Akihiro's eyes, "Right now, I wish to experience the outside world myself."

Akihiro looked him in the eye and knew that he wouldn't be able to stop him no matter what he says, "I see, so it is now that time."

He walked closer and patted him on the shoulder, "You are considered as my elder brother. That is why I wish you all the best, someday I hope that you will come and visit us when you are close by."

"I will try to do that," Dai replied with a smile.

He might be the almighty one who did things at his own pace, but just as what he had realized before giving the letter to Eureka. He knew he was already influenced by the emotions of the humans.

He actually didn't have to stay that long, he could have just arrived to a time closest to the war but maybe because he was completely bored of just watching everything from above, he came earlier and interacted with them.

For him to come down and be a human, he has to place a condition in his human self, the condition was that he would do what was tasked of him but wouldn't do too much. He is after all the almighty one and he shouldn't involve himself with the worldly matters.

That is why Dai only did what was tasked of him and he was mostly disappearing during the wars and battles.

The real Dai would have died in the dessert before Kaoru and Akihiro's father found him, so he took that body in order to watch upclose the enjoyment that is to come in the world.

He knew that it would happen, the events of Juzo coming back and Eureka stopping him. He knew of it all and he wanted to watch it in a close up.

Eureka who was an observer, found his secret and threatened him, not wanting to live just as the show was about to hit the climax, he could only relent.

All of these somehow became a precious experience to him. That he couldn't help but to mock himself. He just wanted to come have a closer look and have fun.

Yet in the end here he was, even seriously saying goodbye to Akihiro. Just how funny could this be?

"Very well then I won't take up anymore of your time. Take care and have fun outside. The land was not that big anyway, surely there will come a time that we will meet again," Akihiro finally said.

To this, Dai remained silent and only gave him a smile.

After all he will be leaving this world so basically he will no longer be returning to this place no matter how long it would pass. At the same time, he really need to stay away.

Having too much emotions towards the worldly matters are not good for his identity.

During this time, with the moon shinning down he walked through a forest, who knows where it was. He was having such a leisure walk as if it was his backyard. Giving the whole place one final stroll.

The silence accompanied by the wind and the swinging of the trees, the rustling of leaves. He found all of it very much soothing.

"Who would have thought that leaving would actually feel this way? Such a curious feeling," he commented as he kept going.

The animals watched as he took a stroll and was even humming a song no one knew what it was.

Slowly his appearance changed but no one or nothing could look directly at him. As if a bright light was encompassing his whole being giving no one a chance to see what his real appearance was.

An imperceptible smile appeared on his thin lips before he slowly fade away from this world.

His departure was a silent one that only Eureka and Akihiro knew of it.

Akihiro had the thought that they will surely meet again but Eureka knew he would truly be gone from this world.

Maybe one day when he once again gets bored he might come down and visit another world. But who knew if it would be the same world or if it would be one of those parallel ones.

The only thing for certain right now is the fact that he will surely be taking a rest after experiencing so much in their world.

*****

"I suppose he is truly gone by now," Eureka muttered after another hour or so.

Her body was feeling completely tired after what she had went through for the past month. But her mind was wide awake for she finally remembered everything.

She had actually defied a natural law of the world. She must have never remember everything after all. The pain accompanying this was proof of it but she actually persisted over and over again.

"He must have done something as well," she couldn't help but add.

Despite always saying that he must not do anything about it, Eureka had the feeling that he still did and that is the only reason why Eureka was able to remember everything without dying.

"You call me wicked but in the end you were a sly one as well. Using your position for your own enjoyment," she kept talking to herself just as a smile appeared on her face.

She slowly sat down in the floor while leaning on the window behind her. She needs to think.

She didn't want to just up and tell everyone that she actually remembered everything already.

She knew that her presence have brought everyone a great deal of pain and difficulty. Dai may not have told her but she can tell just with their appearance that they must have had so much thinking just for her.

Her thoughts were reeled in when she heard the door opening, she was then shock to see her mother standing by the door looking around the room for her.

Upon spotting her by the window, a trace of sadness appeared on her face before she weakly smiled, "I was wondering if you truly are alright. I'm sorry about all the confusions. We also didn't know that-"

"Mom."

Without much though and without waiting for Haruka to stop talking she called out.

It was not Mother, the respectful way she always use, instead she called Haruka with the most intimate word she could find.

Haruka was at first taken a back before she looked at Eureka, seeing the glimmer in her eyes, Haruka slowly shook her head as tears came down her eyes.

"Mom," Eureka called once again as she weakly reached out her hands.

She was already weak in the first place but seeing her mother after remembering everything she felt even weaker.

Haruka didn't wait any longer and run towards her, hugging her tightly as tears run down her face.

"Oh my dear child, I'm so sorry."

"No it was I who was at fault. No matter what I do I kept hurting all of you," Eureka replied as she did her best to return the hug with the same intensity.

Akihiro slowly walked in, he was with Haruka and decided to stand outside yet he heard Eureka's weak voice calling for her mother and seeing Haruka running inside.

He didn't want to believe it at first but upon entering, he saw his wife and child hugging each other with tears in their eyes.

Eureka looked at him and stretched out one of her hands, "Dad."

Her word made him feel weak but he still managed to get close to them and hugged the two of them together.

"You're home, you're finally home."
