"And afterwards?" Mamoru asked after a long silence between them.

"You'll never get use to killing," Eureka replied facing him.

"No matter how many times you kill, no matter how bad the person you are killing. Life will always be a life."

Everyone once again fell silent.

"In the end, is that how those we idolized feel like? When they kill the enemies of the kingdom, when they protect the kingdom, when they smile at us when we congratulate them, what do they really feel?" Karen commented.

"Who knows, even if that's how I feel, others just like our enemies find it amusing, and they would even be delightful if they took a life. What I told you was what I felt. Once you're in there, it would be different. Once you're in that position, it would be different."

"I'm scared," Azusa was the one who spoke this time.

"Azusa," this time Eureka faced Azusa.

"Do you really want to become a knight or you didn't have any choice because you were pushed to be one?"

"I.. I do. I really do."

"Then face it, you want to be a knight. A knight is not just someone who wears armor and parades it around the kingdom. A knight is not just someone who receives awards and have people who adore them, someone who becomes popular. A knight is someone who takes as many lives as possible to protect the kingdom they vow to serve. A knight is someone who breaks his own arm, wounds his own body, cut his own tongue if it is for the kingdom. A knight is someone who hardens his heart just so he could protect everything. That is a true knight. That is a loyal knight."

<Wounds his own body,> Raven thought hearing Eureka's words, <That's right she had wounded herself in order not to delay the situation, she had them wound her in order for her plan to be successful.>

"You are indeed a true knight," he commented looking at her.

The others thought he said so because of her words.

"That's right. You have embodied the true meaning of a knight," Hideyoshi added.

"Stop with those non sense, you are all on duty. Isn't it about time for you to go?" Eureka said standing up.

Looking at the time, it is indeed time for them to leave. They said their goodbyes and left her room.

"They're going to question you? I'll come," upon arrival the next day, Kaoru found Eureka preparing to leave, hearing that she will be answering questions he started fretting again.

"It's fine, just details of what had happened, you don't have to come. When I first woke up, they took into consideration my condition and gave me two days of rest before questioning me," Eureka replied.

"Still-"

"Kaoru, I tell you, It's completely fine."

"I understand, then once everything is settled you have to have dinner with me. We haven't bonded for a while now," Kaoru gave in and pouting said.

"Have we bonded before? Other than you barging in my room without my permission. I don't remember ever bonding with you," Eureka faced him, raising an eyebrow.

"You're too much," teary eyed he looked at Eureka.

"*sigh* Fine, when everything is settled we'd bond and talk. However you put it."

"Finally, I'll wait for that," Kaoru waved her goodbye, beaming.

Eureka watched him happily walk away while hopping. She shrugged before turning her heel to head towards the great hall. Upon arrival, Akihiro and Yukimura are already there waiting for her.

"Am I late, your highness?" Eureka asked as she approached them.

"No, we were just talking about something, follow me both of you," Akihiro replied then headed towards the inner hall.

"And? Care to start explaining?" Yukimura started as they settled down.

"What would you like to know, sir?"

"Okay, first What did you make me and Raven do? How did you make it?"

"I've already told you about different aura's, but just like how we are related by blood, we also are related by our aura or the energy we emit."

"So you're saying that that move was only possible because me and Raven are related?"

"Yes, sir."

"And what kind of ability was that?"

"Nullify."

"Nullify?"

"Yes sir, nullify. Cancellation of other abilities."

"Cancellation?"

"Yes sir, combining two abilities of the same aura, of the same type and of the same strength, would cause their energy to combine but the abilities would cancel out. That remaining energy is what I call, nullify. It doesn't only apply with two related aura's but with opposing abilities as well. Like fire and water or Ice and Magma," after finishing she faced Akihiro.

"It's a little bit difficult to explain it in theory but I suppose you get the gist of it, your highness?"

"Yes I do get it, so combining two related auras wouldn't combine and strengthen them but instead cancel each others property, which forms a new energy that could cancel other abilities once used."

"Yes, that would be correct, your highness."

"And was that the same ability that was used during your graduation ceremony?" Akihiro asked.

Yukimura remembered as well, that time Raven was once again losing his control, but in just a blink of an eye everything disappeared.

"An ability will always be an ability your highness, the detection ability users would have detected it," Eureka replied at the same time thought, <but there is an exception.>

"I suppose, still what exactly happened 3 years ago?"

"That, I don't think I could answer your highness."

"Okay then, how did you know the enemies? And why are they targeting Azusa?" Akihiro asked this time.

"You do know your highness, that I am from this place but at the same time I'm not."

"Have your memories returned?" Akihiro asked baffled.

"My memories were never gone, your highness," Eureka replied with her poker face.

"Wha- YOU WERE LYING ALL THIS TIME?!?!" Yukimura shouted.

"I was not lying sir. I never said I lost my memories."

"But you-" he wanted to rebuke but recalling it, she indeed never said she lost her memories, all she did say was that her past does not exist.

"But your memories were blank, before you came here," Akihiro asked this time.

"Yes sir, cause just as what I was saying all this time, my past does not exist."

"Then explain, what does that statement mean?" Yukimura asked in defeat.

"*sigh* No one from this era would be able to read the time I spent before coming here. Why do you think would that be?" Eureka asked. That's right she can't keep it any longer. The enemies have started their movements. Her actions couldn't keep her identity much longer.

"Seriously, we're getting really confused right now," Yukimura instead replied.

"Are you now, sir? Your highness? I don't think you have no slightest idea of where I came from. It's just you didn't want to accept what you think my identity is, or you think that it is unbelievable." Eureka replied.

"Then," Akihiro started.

Both Eureka and Yukimura faced him.

"If we ask you our conclusion or observation, will you be telling us the truth? Will you answer us?"

"Your highness, why are you giving me so much importance?"

"What do you mean?"

"Your the ruler, one word and one must follow. Especially in my case, where I am a knight. If you tell me to answer your question, I would answer it."

Akihiro looked at her in the eyes, "To be honest, I don't know. I can do just that but would you answer truthfully?"

Eureka looked back at him as if seeing his eyes, "I would."

Her straight forward answer startled both Yukimura and Akihiro. She answered in a way that's telling them, she will really answer them with all she can.

"I already told this to Kaoru once, I will never do anything to harm this kingdom. That includes the people within, I'll answer every question as long as I can. But there would be questions that is better left unanswered for the time being in order for you to focus in the present and not with what you just heard."

"I see, so you're saying that, some of our questions today is better left unanswered." Akihiro fell silent.

Yukimura and Eureka both wait for what he wanted to say.

"Before that, why would you be this devoted in this kingdom? It already came from you, you're not from here," instead Akihiro asked first.

"And I also came from here, I already told you, I have a connection to this kingdom as well, your highness," Eureka replied.

"What is that bond?"

"A bond that is best left unsaid," Eureka said not facing any of them, she then continued, "But I can promise that I will do my very best to protect this kingdom and the people within."

"Your devotion is truly remarkable," Akihiro commented.

"To be honest, when I first came here. I'm just doing what was tasked of me. But living here for the past 7 years I find it to be more precious than how I thought of it."

"Then..." Akihiro started.

"You really did, came from the future?" the question that had been bugging the two of them are finally out.

Eureka looked at him and smiled.
