Alex wakes up to the smell of cotton candy in the air. As he pushes himself up he can feel that the ground is soft and jiggles a bit. He can't see anything very well in the dim light but looking toward the light's source he can tell that he's in a small cave open to the outside world from which a strange girly melody can be heard echoing everywhere.
[What the heck, that sounds like music from a kids anime.]
Alex is a little put off from the music and all he can see outside is strange shapes with bright garish colors. He can't make out what anything is from where he's at so with nothing else to do, Alex stands up and begins to walk to the cave's entrance. As he takes his first step and puts all of his weight on one leg, a strange squeaking sound comes from under his foot.
"What the h*ll was that!? What did I just step on?" Surprised Alex Lifts up his leg and almost loses his balance to check the floor and the bottom of his foot. He still can't see well enough in the dim light to find what caused that noise just now. In fact, he was taken aback by the odd shape of his leg which ended in a small roundish foot that had extremely short toes. His entire leg was short and stubby and was very soft when he grabbed it with his hands which were also barely more than stubs on the end of his short arms. He didn't seem to have any fingers but a thumb like protrusion with a cooking mitt shaped hand.
"Oh, I don't like this... What the heck am I this time?"
Alex bends and twists his body around trying to assess the shape and condition of all his parts but still can't see very well. His attention is brought back to the music and bright world just outside the cave and with a squeak emitting with each of his steps, he walks to the entrance.
As his eyes adjust to the bright glaring light of the outside world he can see strange candy structures before him. In his shock, he uses his arm to lean against the nearby cave wall and finally sees what color his new skin is.
With bulging eyes he exclaims, "Why am I pink!?"
Much to his chagrin, he can finally see what his body looks like in the bright light. To his horror, Alex seems to be a cross between a bright pink walking teddy bear and a gummy bear, like a mutant stuffed animal without ears and no neck.
"Am I some kind of P*kemon?" Alex was too absorbed by his horrible new body to notice a group of creatures similar to himself approaching until their series of squeaking footsteps draw his attention. He's been surrounded by a group of five smiling plushy monsters and the closest one steps forward and grabs his hand.
"Come on new love friend. Follow us to the party!" It says while pulling Alex along and down a street that seems to be made of jello.
[What did it just call me?] Alex was horrified down to his very soul at the words that were just spoken to him by these pink creatures. "Love... friend?..."
Inwardly cringing while feeling a growing sense of terror and not able to understand the world around him, Alex decides to follow along. Everything from the buildings, roads and even the water in the fountains seems to be made of candy with bright, garish colors most often traditionally associated with a little girls room.
As Alex is pulled along he can see that all the inhabitants look like cutesy plushy stuffed animals and all have overly big and somewhat creepy smiles on their faces. The air is inundated with sounds of cutesy squeaking footsteps and that ever-present tune that was really starting to get on Alex's nerves.
[What kind of messed up world is this?]
The music was getting louder from the direction he was being pulled to and finally, they arrive at a wide open space similar to a town square. There he could see multitudes of girly stuffed animal monsters holding hands and dancing with ecstatic expressions and before long Alex is pulled into a dance of nonstop circling around a statue of a woman that seems to resemble a young human girl. The statue was only about twice his height and featured fashion Alex could only associate as a mix of candy land and Gothic Lolita. The squeaking of their steps was almost enough to drown out the loud incessant music.
[I can't take much more of this.]
"Hey, can you guys let go of my hands? I need to sit down for a bit." Alex asks but the creatures on both sides of him only look at him and tilt what counts as their heads a little in confusion with the smile on their faces not fading in the least.
Alex was pulled along by the other dancers and couldn't find a way to escape his maddening situation. Finally reaching the end of his tolerance, Alex forcefully breaks the grip of the dancers on him and extricates himself causing the dancers behind him to trip and fall on top of each other forming a hill of moving and squeaking, pink abominations.
Alex shudders at the sight of the growing hill as the rest of the creatures he was dancing with mindlessly continue to fall on top of each other. When Alex turns around to get away he is stopped and finds himself already surrounded by a group of larger, red-colored versions of himself with valentine's day like heart shaped badges on their chest.
"What are you doing? Are you unhappy praying to our Great Mother Goddess Imouto?" The leader of the group asks.
Knowing nothing about this world and being stopped after causing some trouble, Alex only could only present his interrogator with a confused and slightly guilty face.
"Ah, I know. You must be hungry. Hear love friend, eat this." The red monster in front of him walks forward and rummages around in a skin pouch on its tummy making squelching sounds that cause Alex's eyes to subconsciously twitch. In just a short moment it pulls out a princess cupcake, covered in dripping red jelly, which it then holds out for Alex to grab.
With horror on his face, Alex backs up at the ghastly scene. "What the heck is that? Who would even eat that after you pulled it out of God knows where?"
"What's wrong?" The red monster in front of Alex asks him with a growing frown.
With a bit of panic and fatigue in his voice, Alex answers, "Nothing, I just want to be alone right now is all."
"Alone? That's not very loving of you..." The red monster steps closer with a look of suspicion now in its eyes. "Come with us then. We'll take you somewhere safe so you can be alone."
The other red monsters surrounding Alex also start slowly drawing closer, their squeaking steps sounding very menacing.
Looking around Alex can see the other pink monsters all watching him and the feeling in his gut tells him that he'd better start running now!
"Its ok I can go on my own." Alex says with a false smile almost closing his eyes.
His back was almost touching the hill of fallen dancers when a red monster to his left said, "Oh so you already know where the love center is?"
Before Alex could finish making eye contact with the new speaker, a red monster to his right then says, "Don't worry, It's our pleasure and our duty to escort you there so you can better appreciate our Great Imouto's love for you."
"No, no. It's ok I can walk there myse..." Before Alex could finish speaking, the red monster in front lunges forward in an attempt to grab him with his cupcake free hand but misses as Alex scrambles up the wriggling, squeaking bodies of the hill right behind him.
As he got to top, Alex took the time to look down, behind him and saw the red monsters grabbing and tossing away the pink monsters that formed the hill.
"Stop! Don't run! We are your friends!" The monster that had dropped the cupcake said while tossing pink monsters and licking the jelly off its hand.
Looking around, Alex could see an opening in their entrapment but as he was descending the hill toward it the red monsters started closing ranks in his new direction so he could only fumble as he ran around the hill of writhing bodies looking for the new opening they just made.
*squeak, squeak, squeak*
"Pinkuns grab him!" The leader bellowed as he tried to keep up with Alex's circling maneuver.
Alex could move around the smaller circumference of the hill faster than the red monsters at the bottom and angled his descent in such a way as to reach the new breach before the red monsters could close up their disrupted formation.
Hoping that his body could run faster than the larger red monsters Alex ran with all his strength once he reached the bottom, his heavy footsteps making echoing squeaks as he ran down the nearest street. Even while running for his life, Alex felt mortified that his new body had to Swing its arms straight and run with a small hop with every step. [These monsters even run sickeningly cutesy.]
The red monsters being joined by many others running pell-mell after him gave up all pretense of friendship and called for all loving citizens to capture the ungrateful traitor.
Alex had no idea where he was heading and as he dove into alleys he did his best to keep heading in the direction of the beaming sun only altering his course when roads or alleys he was about to turn down were filled with the cacophony of squeaking footsteps made by his pursuers. It wasn't long before he could hear an army of squeaks coming from every alley and road he tried to turn down.
[Crap, I think I'm surrounded.] Looking around at all the candy houses for a hiding place he could see through the exterior walls such that he could even make out the occupants and almost see the people moving down the street on the other side of the buildings. If he were to hide in one of the houses he'd be seen very easily.
[I can just pretend to be a resident if I can just find an empty house!] As he was looking into all the buildings around him the occupants were also watching him through the walls.
As the squeaking from the army of his pursuers was getting closer and closer, Alex decided to just try his chances at hiding within an occupied building. After all, if he just needed to stand there like the other residents then he shouldn't stand out much. Unfortunately, he was seen running by all the residents around so he had to calmly and innocently walk further down the row and intrude upon a resident that hadn't yet seen his escape attempt. Since his pursuers were closing in from all sides, this meant he'd have to walk toward those chasing him and time was quickly running out.
Right when he could see a mob of cutesy monsters coming from the other side of the houses at the corner of the street, he ducked into an abode smiling at the residents within.
"Greetings love friend! Thank you for visiting us on this wonderful day." One of the older residents said to Alex. This seemed to be a family living in the same house and they weren't frightened by his sudden intrusion in the least.
"Would you like some of my cake?" One of the youngest asked and offered Alex some of the cake she was eating as the mob finally arrived outside the house.
Alex was too tense to answer and could only fake a stupid smile for the family as he turned to watch what was going on outside. Fortunately, everyone else was also distracted by the mob going by. Through the walls, Alex could see the mob making its way past and slowing when the mob coming down from the opposite side of the street came into view. The pursuers looked around confusedly as both groups came together only a few houses down from the one Alex was now in.
[If I snuck out now maybe I can blend into the crowd and make my escape. But what if they notice that I'm the only one trying to leave?] Alex decided to play it safe and wait to see what would happen.
Red monsters pushed their way to the front of both mobs and started to talk. Alex couldn't hear what they're saying and just stood there watching like all the residents around him were also doing. It wasn't long before the monsters start hugging each other patting each other on the back followed by all the other pink monsters within the mob. Then the apparent leader of the red monsters looks around at all the houses and starts directing the other red monsters by pointing at each door and yelling something out.
Red monsters were going door to door briefly telling the residents something before moving onto the next house. Before long, a red monster came to the house Alex was hiding in and told them all to come out to sing the Goddess lullaby together with the rest of the pinkuns. If Alex's body could sweat there'd be a cold, salty river dripping down his forehead as he realized he didn't know any such song.
[Sh*t! I'm trapped and at this rate, they'll discover me.] Alex tried to keep his cool following the family out onto the street doing his best not to let his eyes dart around as he looked for an avenue of escape. Some of the houses looked like they could be climbed if he tried hard enough but he really had no idea what his body was capable of. He certainly didn't feel tired after running so much, at least not physically, so maybe he could make it.
After all the residents of the street were brought out onto the road and surrounded by members of the mob, they all started singing something that sounded like an anime theme song for little girls. Though the lyrics seemed simple, Alex couldn't sing for his life and as he kept messing up or missing words the widened eyes of the monsters around him started looking at him. Their eyes were exaggeratedly large from the start such that being stared at by many of them while they were widened was extremely unnerving for Alex. Definitely not something that can just be ignored.
[I think I'm screwed...] Alex realized he wasn't going to be able to pass as a native with the singing skills he learned in elementary school while faking his way through the music teacher's lessons and decided he'd better at least try to get away again. Before any of the red monsters heading his way could reach him, Alex desperately tried to scale a slanted wall that he could use to reach the top of a nearby house.
The pink monsters around him all took a distance opening a space for the red monsters to move in and better surround Alex.
"Why do you resist our love so much? We're only trying to do what's best for you. So come with us so we can help you." The leader of the red monsters tried to reason with Alex, fearful of fighting and hurting him in front of so many onlookers.
"No! Stay away! Leave me alone!" Alex tried to climb the wall but with hands that lacked fingers to grip with he could only flail his arms to use friction to pull himself up but each time he lost to gravity and would cutely slide down the wall. Each time he tried again he found it impossible to climb with his hands and only achieved an odd sort of music as his palms impacted the wall and squeaked.
"These hands and feet are horrible!" Alex bemoaned.
"We're only trying to save you from yourself, love friend." The lead monster said before rummaging in his pouch again to pull out a menacing metal rod that looked like a cattle prod with two dull tines on the end that arced crackling electricity between them.
[That's the most promising thing I've seen on this planet. (least girly looking thing)] Alex thought as they closed in on him pointing the prods at him. With his attempts of climbing proving futile, Alex tried to make a break for the crowd. Before he could slip between the red monsters again they jabbed the prods at him and the smell of cooked gummy monster started to permeate the air and after making obscenely cute noises while being electrocuted, Alex fell to the ground like a squeaking pink log.
*Cough, cough* Alex coughs up blood-like jelly as he tries to push himself off the ground.
[Oh, it tastes like raspberries] was the last thing Alex had time to think before they prodded him again as he tried to crawl away.
Alex wasn't awake when his body hit the ground and made a cute squeaking noise that sullied any remaining dignity that he could have had.
"Alright, let's take our wayward love friend to the love center so they can fix what's wrong with his head."
The girly music continued to resound throughout the city the whole time.

He can't see anything very well in the dim light but looking toward the light's source he can tell that he's in a small cave open to the outside world from which a strange girly melody can be heard echoing everywhere.What the heck, that sounds like music from a kids anime.Alex is a little put off from the music and all he can see outside is strange shapes with bright garish colors. He can't make out what anything is from where he's at so with nothing else to do, Alex stands up and begins to walk to the cave's entrance. As he takes his first step and puts all of his weight on one leg, a strange squeaking sound comes from under his foot."What the h*ll was that!? What did I just step on?" Surprised Alex Lifts up his leg and almost loses his balance to check the floor and the bottom of his foot. He still can't see well enough in the dim light to find what caused that noise just now. In fact, he was taken aback by the odd shape of his leg which ended in a small roundish foot that had extremely short toes. His entire leg was short and stubby and was very soft when he grabbed it with his hands which were also barely more than stubs on the end of his short arms. He didn't seem to have any fingers but a thumb like protrusion with a cooking mitt shaped hand."Oh, I don't like this... What the heck am I this time?"Alex bends and twists his body around trying to assess the shape and condition of all his parts but still can't see very well. His attention is brought back to the music and bright world just outside the cave and with a squeak emitting with each of his steps, he walks to the entrance.As his eyes adjust to the bright glaring light of the outside world he can see strange candy structures before him. In his shock, he uses his arm to lean against the nearby cave wall and finally sees what color his new skin is.With bulging eyes he exclaims, "Why am I pink!?"Much to his chagrin, he can finally see what his body looks like in the bright light. To his horror, Alex seems to be a cross between a bright pink walking teddy bear and a gummy bear, like a mutant stuffed animal without ears and no neck."Am I some kind of P*kemon?" Alex was too absorbed by his horrible new body to notice a group of creatures similar to himself approaching until their series of squeaking footsteps draw his attention. He's been surrounded by a group of five smiling plushy monsters and the closest one steps forward and grabs his hand."Come on new love friend. Follow us to the party!" It says while pulling Alex along and down a street that seems to be made of jello.What did it just call me? Alex was horrified down to his very soul at the words that were just spoken to him by these pink creatures. "Love... friend?..."Inwardly cringing while feeling a growing sense of terror and not able to understand the world around him, Alex decides to follow along. Everything from the buildings, roads and even the water in the fountains seems to be made of candy with bright, garish colors most often traditionally associated with a little girls room.As Alex is pulled along he can see that all the inhabitants look like cutesy plushy stuffed animals and all have overly big and somewhat creepy smiles on their faces. The air is inundated with sounds of cutesy squeaking footsteps and that ever-present tune that was really starting to get on Alex's nerves.What kind of messed up world is this?The music was getting louder from the direction he was being pulled to and finally, they arrive at a wide open space similar to a town square. There he could see multitudes of girly stuffed animal monsters holding hands and dancing with ecstatic expressions and before long Alex is pulled into a dance of nonstop circling around a statue of a woman that seems to resemble a young human girl. The statue was only about twice his height and featured fashion Alex could only associate as a mix of candy land and Gothic Lolita. The squeaking of their steps was almost enough to drown out the loud incessant music.I can't take much more of this."Hey, can you guys let go of my hands? I need to sit down for a bit." Alex asks but the creatures on both sides of him only look at him and tilt what counts as their heads a little in confusion with the smile on their faces not fading in the least.Alex was pulled along by the other dancers and couldn't find a way to escape his maddening situation. Finally reaching the end of his tolerance, Alex forcefully breaks the grip of the dancers on him and extricates himself causing the dancers behind him to trip and fall on top of each other forming a hill of moving and squeaking, pink abominations.Alex shudders at the sight of the growing hill as the rest of the creatures he was dancing with mindlessly continue to fall on top of each other. When Alex turns around to get away he is stopped and finds himself already surrounded by a group of larger, red-colored versions of himself with valentine's day like heart shaped badges on their chest."What are you doing? Are you unhappy praying to our Great Mother Goddess Imouto?" The leader of the group asks.Knowing nothing about this world and being stopped after causing some trouble, Alex only could only present his interrogator with a confused and slightly guilty face."Ah, I know. You must be hungry. Hear love friend, eat this." The red monster in front of him walks forward and rummages around in a skin pouch on its tummy making squelching sounds that cause Alex's eyes to subconsciously twitch. In just a short moment it pulls out a princess cupcake, covered in dripping red jelly, which it then holds out for Alex to grab.With horror on his face, Alex backs up at the ghastly scene. "What the heck is that? Who would even eat that after you pulled it out of God knows where?""What's wrong?" The red monster in front of Alex asks him with a growing frown.With a bit of panic and fatigue in his voice, Alex answers, "Nothing, I just want to be alone right now is all.""Alone? That's not very loving of you..." The red monster steps closer with a look of suspicion now in its eyes. "Come with us then. We'll take you somewhere safe so you can be alone."The other red monsters surrounding Alex also start slowly drawing closer, their squeaking steps sounding very menacing.Looking around Alex can see the other pink monsters all watching him and the feeling in his gut tells him that he'd better start running now!"Its ok I can go on my own." Alex says with a false smile almost closing his eyes.His back was almost touching the hill of fallen dancers when a red monster to his left said, "Oh so you already know where the love center is?"Before Alex could finish making eye contact with the new speaker, a red monster to his right then says, "Don't worry, It's our pleasure and our duty to escort you there so you can better appreciate our Great Imouto's love for you.""No, no. It's ok I can walk there myse..." Before Alex could finish speaking, the red monster in front lunges forward in an attempt to grab him with his cupcake free hand but misses as Alex scrambles up the wriggling, squeaking bodies of the hill right behind him.As he got to top, Alex took the time to look down, behind him and saw the red monsters grabbing and tossing away the pink monsters that formed the hill."Stop! Don't run! We are your friends!" The monster that had dropped the cupcake said while tossing pink monsters and licking the jelly off its hand.Looking around, Alex could see an opening in their entrapment but as he was descending the hill toward it the red monsters started closing ranks in his new direction so he could only fumble as he ran around the hill of writhing bodies looking for the new opening they just made.*squeak, squeak, squeak*"Pinkuns grab him!" The leader bellowed as he tried to keep up with Alex's circling maneuver.Alex could move around the smaller circumference of the hill faster than the red monsters at the bottom and angled his descent in such a way as to reach the new breach before the red monsters could close up their disrupted formation.Hoping that his body could run faster than the larger red monsters Alex ran with all his strength once he reached the bottom, his heavy footsteps making echoing squeaks as he ran down the nearest street. Even while running for his life, Alex felt mortified that his new body had to Swing its arms straight and run with a small hop with every step. These monsters even run sickeningly cutesy.The red monsters being joined by many others running pell-mell after him gave up all pretense of friendship and called for all loving citizens to capture the ungrateful traitor.Alex had no idea where he was heading and as he dove into alleys he did his best to keep heading in the direction of the beaming sun only altering his course when roads or alleys he was about to turn down were filled with the cacophony of squeaking footsteps made by his pursuers. It wasn't long before he could hear an army of squeaks coming from every alley and road he tried to turn down.Crap, I think I'm surrounded. Looking around at all the candy houses for a hiding place he could see through the exterior walls such that he could even make out the occupants and almost see the people moving down the street on the other side of the buildings. If he were to hide in one of the houses he'd be seen very easily.I can just pretend to be a resident if I can just find an empty house! As he was looking into all the buildings around him the occupants were also watching him through the walls.As the squeaking from the army of his pursuers was getting closer and closer, Alex decided to just try his chances at hiding within an occupied building. After all, if he just needed to stand there like the other residents then he shouldn't stand out much. Unfortunately, he was seen running by all the residents around so he had to calmly and innocently walk further down the row and intrude upon a resident that hadn't yet seen his escape attempt. Since his pursuers were closing in from all sides, this meant he'd have to walk toward those chasing him and time was quickly running out.Right when he could see a mob of cutesy monsters coming from the other side of the houses at the corner of the street, he ducked into an abode smiling at the residents within."Greetings love friend! Thank you for visiting us on this wonderful day." One of the older residents said to Alex. This seemed to be a family living in the same house and they weren't frightened by his sudden intrusion in the least."Would you like some of my cake?" One of the youngest asked and offered Alex some of the cake she was eating as the mob finally arrived outside the house.Alex was too tense to answer and could only fake a stupid smile for the family as he turned to watch what was going on outside. Fortunately, everyone else was also distracted by the mob going by. Through the walls, Alex could see the mob making its way past and slowing when the mob coming down from the opposite side of the street came into view. The pursuers looked around confusedly as both groups came together only a few houses down from the one Alex was now in.If I snuck out now maybe I can blend into the crowd and make my escape. But what if they notice that I'm the only one trying to leave? Alex decided to play it safe and wait to see what would happen.Red monsters pushed their way to the front of both mobs and started to talk. Alex couldn't hear what they're saying and just stood there watching like all the residents around him were also doing. It wasn't long before the monsters start hugging each other patting each other on the back followed by all the other pink monsters within the mob. Then the apparent leader of the red monsters looks around at all the houses and starts directing the other red monsters by pointing at each door and yelling something out.Red monsters were going door to door briefly telling the residents something before moving onto the next house. Before long, a red monster came to the house Alex was hiding in and told them all to come out to sing the Goddess lullaby together with the rest of the pinkuns. If Alex's body could sweat there'd be a cold, salty river dripping down his forehead as he realized he didn't know any such song.Sh*t! I'm trapped and at this rate, they'll discover me. Alex tried to keep his cool following the family out onto the street doing his best not to let his eyes dart around as he looked for an avenue of escape. Some of the houses looked like they could be climbed if he tried hard enough but he really had no idea what his body was capable of. He certainly didn't feel tired after running so much, at least not physically, so maybe he could make it.After all the residents of the street were brought out onto the road and surrounded by members of the mob, they all started singing something that sounded like an anime theme song for little girls. Though the lyrics seemed simple, Alex couldn't sing for his life and as he kept messing up or missing words the widened eyes of the monsters around him started looking at him. Their eyes were exaggeratedly large from the start such that being stared at by many of them while they were widened was extremely unnerving for Alex. Definitely not something that can just be ignored.I think I'm screwed... Alex realized he wasn't going to be able to pass as a native with the singing skills he learned in elementary school while faking his way through the music teacher's lessons and decided he'd better at least try to get away again. Before any of the red monsters heading his way could reach him, Alex desperately tried to scale a slanted wall that he could use to reach the top of a nearby house.The pink monsters around him all took a distance opening a space for the red monsters to move in and better surround Alex."Why do you resist our love so much? We're only trying to do what's best for you. So come with us so we can help you." The leader of the red monsters tried to reason with Alex, fearful of fighting and hurting him in front of so many onlookers."No! Stay away! Leave me alone!" Alex tried to climb the wall but with hands that lacked fingers to grip with he could only flail his arms to use friction to pull himself up but each time he lost to gravity and would cutely slide down the wall. Each time he tried again he found it impossible to climb with his hands and only achieved an odd sort of music as his palms impacted the wall and squeaked."These hands and feet are horrible!" Alex bemoaned."We're only trying to save you from yourself, love friend." The lead monster said before rummaging in his pouch again to pull out a menacing metal rod that looked like a cattle prod with two dull tines on the end that arced crackling electricity between them.That's the most promising thing I've seen on this planet. least girly looking thing Alex thought as they closed in on him pointing the prods at him. With his attempts of climbing proving futile, Alex tried to make a break for the crowd. Before he could slip between the red monsters again they jabbed the prods at him and the smell of cooked gummy monster started to permeate the air and after making obscenely cute noises while being electrocuted, Alex fell to the ground like a squeaking pink log.*Cough, cough* Alex coughs up blood-like jelly as he tries to push himself off the ground.Oh, it tastes like raspberries was the last thing Alex had time to think before they prodded him again as he tried to crawl away.Alex wasn't awake when his body hit the ground and made a cute squeaking noise that sullied any remaining dignity that he could have had."Alright, let's take our wayward love friend to the love center so they can fix what's wrong with his head."The girly music continued to resound throughout the city the whole time.
