The restaurant was not far from the place of the conflict. Pang Jing Dong initially wanted to switch to a different restaurant, but he did know how to say it as he did not want to ruin the mood. Her gorgeous appearance with her elegant gestures, caused Pang Jing Dong to be obsessed with her.
“The right saddle on the right horse!” Pang Jing Dong said with a smile.
“You should find a better phrase if you want to flatter me!” said Shen Jia Yao with a grin. “The brand is Parad.”

“Haha!” Upon saying this, both of them burst out laughing.

“Ten years’ time can change a person completely.”

“In comparison though, I prefer your old self!”
Shen Jia Yao was stunned hearing it, who then gave Pang Jing Dong a puzzled look and did not continue the conversation.
“Let’s order some dishes!” Pang Jing Dong handed the menu to Shen Jia Yao.
Shen Jia Yao ordered a few dishes, before saying in a flat tone, “Grandparents’…”
“Still overseas.” Pang Jing Dong remained silence for a brief while, before saying, “I hope I could find a suitable timing to get them back. If they could not fulfill their dreams overseas, they deserve to return to their roots.”
Upon saying this, Shen Jia Yao had a recollection of her past; on the night she was abandoned, she kept on crying asking her godparents to stay while claiming going overseas was a bad idea. During that moment, Pang Jing Dong’s father replied with a low spirit, “Is there anywhere that would not bury people?”

“I haven’t mentioned your return to him” Upon saying this, Shen Jia Yao was carefully observing Pang Jing Dong’s reaction.
“Oh!” answered Pang Jing Dong, still having a calm expression on his face.
“I hope you would tell him yourself!” Shen Jia Yao added.
“I do hope I have the chance to!” said Pang jIng Dong who shook his head while smiling. “I never thought there would be such a coincidence in my life!”
“I didn’t think so too, to think that you are my company’s employee. I assumed we would never meet again!”
“What I didn’t expect was, our status and positions had changed thoroughly.”
Shen Jia Yao puckered her lips, before saying, “What did my godparents do overseas?”
Pang Jing Dong knew that Shen Jia Yao assumed his parents had enjoyed a few years of luxurious life before ending up in the unfortunate accident. The truth was, it happened a month after they arrived in the foreign land.
The place was not a heaven. Regarding this fact, his parents were wrong initially, so was Shen Jia Yao today. Only Pang Jing Dong who had experienced hell there knew what it was like. A sorrowful feeling rose up in his heart.
Pang Jing Dong did not want to explain too much, so he answered, “Doing some small businesses!”
Shen Jia Yao shook her head and changed the topic, “I invited you for a meal because I have something to discuss.”

“It’s about the managing team of the company!”

“At least give me a chance to be promoted?”

“I was just joking, don’t take it seriously!” Pang Jing Dong’s smile disappeared and said thoughtfully, “I don’t want to live a tiring life!”
Shen Jia Yao glanced at Pang Jing Dong, and said with a disappointing tone, “Striving for excellence is indeed tiring! But the sense of achievement is irreplaceable! I really hoped you didn’t just say that! To be honest, when I first knew you are working in my company, I wished you to have achieved something, or at least you could help me in my business! However…”
Pang Jing Dong did not give a direct answer as he said, “No matter what you are doing, I will always support you!”
“I only have one thing to ask from you!”
“Tell me! As long as it’s not about world peace or something too ridiculous, I promise I will do it!”
“Don’t be late for your work tomorrow!”

Shen Jia Yao shook her head helplessly while looking at her watch and say, “It’s late now, let’s call it a day!”

As soon as Pang Jing Dong opened his wallet, a business card fell out like a piece of falling leaf during the Autumn season, falling onto the table, which was picked up by Shen Jia Yao.
If anyone did what Shen Jia Yao just did, it was considered disrespectful. However, she somehow still had a sense of intimacy in front of Pang Jing Dong, plus she really wanted to know what did Pang Jing Dong do in the past ten years, although most of the time Pang Jing Dong felt like a stranger to her.
“Jing Dong, Public Relation Manager of Tony’s Nightclub” Shen Jia Yao casted a sight-glance at Pang Jing Dong, before saying in a cold voice, “I thought people doing this kind of business would use their stage names!”
Pang Jing Dong let out a wry smile and asked, “Doesn’t this count as one?”
“Just because you didn’t put a surname and it sounded more intimate doesn’t make it a stage name! That being said, it’s fine to use your real name. Who knows which Jing Dong it’s referring to!”
