Rainer, the young man, spat the blood that had gathered in his throat.What he thought it would be a simple 'jump' resulted in a near-death experience.
He felt as if his body was in a washing machine, all his organs trembled and they tried to relocate to their original positions without success.
After circulating the bit of spiritual energy he had after using Void Step, Rainer got up to seek refuge.
He dragged his body to the first place he was able to recognize.

In a hall of the Lorren clan, Alisha was doing her duties when a sudden explosion interrupted her.
After such a sudden noise, Lerna jumped from Alisha's body and swiftly slipped towards the exit.
"That explosion seems to have happened nearby... Wait Lerna, where are you going?"

After having witnessed Lerna's reaction, Alisha knew that Rainer was in danger!
She quickly left her duties and headed to Rainer's chamber.

After seeing Rainer vanish in the air, both elders were shocked.There was no cultivation method in the clan that involved such a mystical technique!
"It must be the cultivation method which his father left him in inheritance,but I never knew that Janus possessed an instant movement technique."

When Rainer arrived at the warehouse entrance, the door was opened and a middle-aged man appeared.
After seeing Rainer covered in blood but without any external wounds, the man was surprised and let him pass.
"No...I can't...they're...chasing me..." He murmured with the little strength he had remaining.
"Come in brat, I don't have all day..." The middle-aged man replied.
After leaving Rainer on a table, the man went into the storeroom and took some herbs and a few concoctions.
"This will make you feel better, that's what happens when you use such a high level technique when you don't meet the standards..." He scolded Rainer as if he knew everything that had happened.
"How do you know what happened to me?" Asked Rainer after drinking the concoctions offered by the man.
"Severe injury to internal organs and an exhausted Astral Gate are the signs of using high level techniques when the main requirements are not being met." He replied in a wisely manner, it seemed like he was instructing a junior.
After talking for a few minutes with the man, Rainer realized that he was not all he claimed to be!A great knowledge about cultivation but without a cultivation base, a vast knowledge of herbs, but he had never heard of such a master within the clan.

The man interrupted Rainer before he could continue.
