All the Clan's Elders were euphoric to know what spiritual beast Yren would awaken.
"We have high expectations set on you, Yren." Said Zin, Rainer and Yren's uncle as well as the current head of the Lorren Clan.
"It's a shame your brother Rainer doesn't have a bit of your talent huh...." The Elders couldn't help but sigh at the mention of Rainer, both of them came from the same parents but they were still so disparate...
Everyone in the Clan knew that Rainer would be a mere mortal if it weren't for the tiny amount of spiritual energy he possessed, which would allow him to cast out any of the weakest spiritual skills, but he would be unable to break through the threshold and summon his spiritual beast.
"Don't worry, Clan head, I guarantee you I will summon a strong spiritual beast that will allow us to seize the entire Luo Region."
"Hahahaha... Be ambitious Yren, but beware, you never know what the future may hold."
The Clan head saw the flames of greed in Yren's eyes, although he had such talent,he was in deep animosity towards Rainer.
The Clan head would understand it if they were children,however, they would be adults tomorrow and will be able to have their own families.
Although Rainer showed he was quite clever since childhood, it wouldn't help the Clan at wartime. Why do you need numbers and words when you' ve got fists anyway?
The disappointment increased when they discovered at the age of six that Rainer possessed a tiny amount of spiritual energy, making him unable to summon his spiritual beast from the Astral world.
Yren, who was left in the sidelines until then, used his talent to encourage his relatives to tease Rainer.
Since they were elders, they were not able to interfere in the young generation's affairs, pushing Yren's sadist side to the edge.
There was no day that Rainer would not be beaten up by them, being reduced to a simple sack of boxing.
No one dared to blame him, in view of the fact that Yren would eventually become the next head of the clan, leaving Rainer on his own.
"Head of the clan, I have one request!"
"Tell me, Yren, as long as it isn't unreasonable, I swear it will be done."
The clan head was wondering what his nephew was going to ask for, since he was the next in the succession order, these requests were frequent.
However, he did not expect that today would be a completely different request.
"I want Alisha!" Yren shouted loudly.
Both the Clan's head and elders eyes widened like dishes in response to Yren's request.
All those who were present knew about the special connection that existed between Rainer and Alisha, the only support Rainer had in the clan was Alisha,Rainer's servant.
"Mmm..." The head of the clan didn't known how to answer to such a request.
"Yren....aren't Rainer and Alisha very close already?" The head of the clan attempted to intervene in Yren's desires.
"But uncle, I adore Alisha! I wish I could be with her!" Yren didn't seem like giving in to the clan head's warning.
" Yeah, Father, Yren heartily loves her.They're a splendid match".
Ferris, who was the son of the current clan's head and Yren's faithful dog, said.Yren only had to name Rainer to have Ferris call his fellows and give Rainer a "visit".
"But..." The Clan head knew that this was all just another of Yren's sadist schemes to annoy Rainer.
This is how things work in this world, the stronger takes everything from the weaker and the weaker is the nourishment of the stronger.
But he continued to hesitate as they were both siblings and that's a very close bond,he was always hoping that Yren would cease his animosity towards Rainer and both would collaborate to lead the Lorren Clan to a major scenario.
The Yun Province was, after all, a huge wilderness area and and the Lorren clan was just one ant in comparison with those Central clans.
"It's not okay?.She's just a girl serving at the clan!" The Elders tried to stand behind Yren in an effort to earn his favor.
"Huh...let me ponder about it...!".What else could the clan head do except sigh?.What else could the clan head do except sigh? Although he was the mightiest in the clan at the moment, all the decisions were made among all the Elders.
And thus Alisha's fate was signed in stone.
Alisha had never left Rainer's side no matter how bad the circumstances were, after all, Rainer rescued her from slavery when she was a child and her village got assaulted by enslavers.
It was Rainer who gave the alarm voice, making the clan mobilize their troops and slaughter every single enslaver.
Unfortunately, it was too late for the village with Alisha being the sole survivor.
Having been rescued by the Lorren clan, Rainer begged to have her wounds treated, finally,she was able to physically and mentally recover with Rainer's help, and it was then when she decided that she had to follow her Young Master no matter what.
"Young Master, time to wake up!"
A small figure jumped onto the bed where Rainer was sleeping.
"Uuugh..." Rainer gasped for air at the abrupt impact that took him out of his dreams.
"How many times have I told you to wake me up properly?"
"Young Master, not everybody has a pretty lady like me for waking them up each morning," Alisha said with such a shining smile on her face that Rainer felt he was looking straight into the sun.
Although Alisha was older than Rainer by 3 years, she acted like a kid in front of him, expecting to be spoiled.
"How years have passed since then?" Rainer was unable to shake the memories of the events that took place four years ago.
When he was desperately attempting to arouse any power by training, he noticed a pillar of smoke from afar.
He returned rapidly and reported it to his uncle but the Elders opposed to sending forces to a frontier village like Redil.
The Elders were in agreement to provide assistance after the request of Rainer in return for Rainer ceding his resources to his older sibling, a move he accepted with no hesitation, after all, he did not improve regardless of the efforts he made in training.
After a lengthy fight which ended with a bandit group murdered and a village reduced to nowhere, Rainer requested to take custody of the sole survivor, Alisha.
Her recovery was difficult, but her hearts wounds remained unhealed.
However, what surprised Rainer was that shortly after, Alisha begged to serve him in order to repay his debt of gratitude. Once again, Alisha returned to her former appearance of a young lady, with a smile on her face like any other young girl.
"Is it all right, Young Master?" Asked Alisha after seeing that Rainer remained in silence.
"It's nothing.... just that today is "that day".
"Don't worry, Young Master, I believe in you!"
"You will summon a mighty spiritual beast that will teach a lesson to those fools who are messing with you!"
"Th-thank you, Alisha, but I don't think so..."
"Moreover, I won't attend to the ritual, I will not give them another motive for messing with me...."
Rainer had not much faith at the event and thought it would be a good idea for him to avoid any displeasure and not show up.
"You cannot do that Young Master!"
"If you don't show up at the ritual, you' ll be seen by them as a coward and nobody will respect you."

In the back of the hall,a good-looking, tall young man could be found in the crowd, with a beautiful young lady smiling at him from ear to ear, waiting for her Young Master's turn.
She wished that everyone would see the handsome and heroic Rainer she knew and that all members of the clan would no longer disrespect him.

All whispering ceased after the current Head of the Clan arrived at the Main Hall, followed by a handsome young,smiling as he glanced across the hall looking for someone.
"Looks like that piece of shit didn't dare to come."
"What a shame,I would have been pleased to see his face after I have snatched Alisha from him hahahahaha!"
"The ritual will start shortly, everyone on their feet," the head of the clan remarked in a calm voice with a strength that reached the end of the hall.
The clan head was the most important and powerful man of the Lorren clan after all. This was a normal thing.
"Those who have reached the age of fifteen, come to the altar!"
