It's not like Rainer hadn't thought about it before, on numerous occasions, he had considered killing Yren but his lack of power always pushed him back.
And now that Yren had tried to kill him and planned to take Alisha, Rainer could not ignore this time-bomb that could explode at any moment.
But killing someone....Rainer had never killed anybody personally, it was always Lerna who did the dirty work....
"I don't know if I'll have the guts, take someone's life while you watch how the light in his eyes fades away..."
Rainer thought as he stood up from bed.
Although the venom had been purged and his wound was healed, Rainer's body had been working beyond its limits to survive, so his whole body was in a weakened state.

When Rainer left his room, the sunrise welcomed him.
It was still dark, but the sun rising from the horizon hypnotized Rainer.
"It's a beautiful dawn..."
A soft voice whispered behind Rainer.
As he turned around, Alisha was waiting next to his yard, for her dark undereye circles, she had been waiting for him all night.
"I'm sorry to have worried you, but it will all end today...I promise you... "Rainer muttered as he treasured the first dawn of his new life....

"So you are a hybrid between a demon and a human? I had never heard that demons could have mixed sons..."Said Alisha surprised by Rainer's revelations.
"I know it's hard to believe, but I always noticed something strange about my body. When I was overwhelmed, a strange warmth filled my body and allowed me to move on... "Rainer said as he brought his hand to his chest and felt the beating of his heart.
It all made sense once he discovered the truth, his low spiritual power was due to the fact that only humans possessed that kind of energy, a half human like him would barely have it....
But it wasn't just bad news, although Rainer didn't know what effects the awakening of his Demon Bloodline would have on his body, it couldn't be worse than death, could it?
"Does your aunt want you to kill Yren? I think it's dangerous!"
Alisha warned Rainer, after all, Yren was the most powerful youth in the clan and there were still many things they didn't know about his power!
"If I don't do it, you know what your fate will be! I don't want you to go through that, stop worrying so much about me, I'm not a child..."
Rainer raised his voice as he replied to Alisha.

Alisha didn't say anything else, she got up in silence and then she left...
As she was leaving, Rainer was able to see a small crystalline drop falling on the ground.
"I think I've gone too far....but I must be tough at times like this, I'm taking a big risk here!"
Rainer burned into the fire of determination, he made a promise and he would keep it!

For the final round, the last five participants would fight in a single arena, all against all!
Only the last Guardian would be able to call himself the most powerful youth of the Lorren clan!
The stands were at maximum capacity, nobody wanted to miss the last round of the tournament.

In the streets, the children imitated the most exciting moments of the tournament. Everyone wanted to play the role of Rainer and beat his friends!
When Rainer went to the arena and saw the children recreate his battle, he felt ashamed, he didn't remember saying such stupid lines during his fight against Jathra....

At the top of the arena, Liann and Wolfang were both watching the final round preparations,they had high expectations for this fight.
"What will you do if he doesn't win?" Wolfang asked Liann.
"If he's really my sister's son, he won't lose! Even among the demons, my sister's blood is the most powerful in generations!"
She responded with a confident tone, but only she knew that being a hybrid, Rainer might not inherit any power!
