It was only a second, but Rainer was able to see how the shadow whispered something to Yren!
The scene seemed to have been taken from a horror movie.
It didn't take much to figure out that the shadow was encouraging Yren, whose emotions were in disarray, to accomplish his goals using whatever method.
The shadow vanished, but a dark aura remained around Yren.
"Yren didn't have that aura yesterday!
A pain in his eyes forced Rainer to close them, when he opened them again, everything returned to normal.
"My eyes...I feel strange..."
According to Liann, the Demon bloodline affected the demon's eyes. Since they were born, demons had a special vision.

On the stage, there were only two of the five who were classified, Rainer looked at Yren in astonishment.
"He also sent assassins to the other competitors?"
Rainer didn't care about the others, for him there were only himself and Alisha, but that doesn't mean he would tolerate such acts for no reason.
To confirm his intuition, the judge made an announcement.
"Due to an epidemic among the other contestants, this fight will be a 1 vs 1! Don't worry, the other contestants are only exhausted!"
Said the judge in charge of the final round.

"A duelling between brothers, I guess they'll try their best not to injure themselves..."

The cave was illuminated by the light of a forge, the sparks of the hammer impacts made it possible to see a man covered with a metallic shine.
This man was made from steel!
"Huuh, another failure..."
After looking at the result, the man sighed after throwing the piece of metal into a pile of trash.
The pile of trash shone in numerous bright colors, with a sharp sight, one would be able to notice that any of these discarded minerals were precious! This metallized man treated them like simple stones! If dwarves found out, they would spit blood till death!
Mithril, orichalcum, black stones and even void ores were some of the elements in the "garbage pile".

The man seemed to notice something unusual in the warehouse, so he got up and went into it.
After entering the warehouse, a heavenly armoury appeared in front of him!
Spears, swords, bows and even farming tools!
A bloody aura covered each of these tools of carnage!
"Mmm, there's a reaction...what will it be?"
Murmured the man.
After he waved his hand, the room began to rumble.
"Ohh it looks like it's a tough one!"
He shouted with emotion.
Seeing that one hand was not enough, the man made the same gesture with his other hand.
Trembling.
A sword danced through the air as it headed toward the man, it was going to stab him!

The man's hand was faster, in a blur, his hand grabbed the handle and showed no sign of releasing it.
"The long sword I made twenty thousand years ago... I remember it was made of a viper that grew so large that it devoured its world..."
The man scratched his brilliant bald head as he remembered the history behind this sword.
The sword was made of pure jade, due to its transparency it almost looked like crystal. Its handle seemed to be made of scales and an ornament of a snake biting its tail was engraved on its bottom.
"It was one of my first works as the God of Steel, but now that you have chosen a master, I will release you as I promised back then...".
The sword stopped shaking after the man's words, it was a sentient weapon!
The God of Steel gave one last sharpening to the sword as a farewell gift and left his workshop.
"Take good care of your master, once you have made a choice, there is no turning back..."
Said the God of Steel as he descended through the mountain.
When he reached the bottom of the mountain, there was nothing underneath! This mountain peak was floating above space!
"I hope we meet again!"
The God of Steel threw the jade sword from the mountain and returned to his workshop.
A crack appeared in the space and swallowed the sword, crossing the confines of the universe.
"I wonder who was chosen, my weapons only select a master every ten thousand years..."
Said the God of Steel after returning to his workshop.
