Numerous spiders attacked the dragon, but its crystal armor showed no signs of shattering, under the bright moon the dragon seemed to be covered in diamonds!
Its brightness resembled a torch of hope in the middle of the dark spider sea!

The sharp tip of its tail moved swiftly as it stabbed the spiders that jumped toward it, and its claws crushed the creatures standing in front of it.
The dragon looked like a tank fighting an unarmed soldier!
Rainer stared at the dragon in amazement from its head, this earth dragon and the 'walking fortress' were two great acquisitions for his army.
"If this continues like this, rebuilding the Demon King's ancient army will not be just a dream..." Rainer muttered.

The squad that signed up for the mission looked dismayed at the war machine that cleared the way, rather than a war they seemed to be strolling through the forest....
"What a terrifying magic...if Pearl City were to face the assault of such an army(It's currently happening...)..."Troy almost fainted as he imagined himself fighting all those bloodthirsty beings.
"Hum! He's just relying on the army, anyone would be able to do that..." Said Kradlo dissatisfied with all the praise and respect Rainer was drawing.

Kradlo tripped and almost fell to the ground after being hit, when he turned to shout at the person who had provoked him, he looked straight ahead again and kept silent....
A huge snake looked at him as she hissed, her reptilian eyes emitted a coldness and death feeling.
Everything indicated that it was better to stay away from that thing...
Lerna watched the beastmen who dared to insult her master with predator eyes, she and Rainer shared a soul like any other Guardian and that bond was greater than the family one.

The squad advanced through the forest guided by the spiders that appeared to stop them, no matter how many spiders arrived, the dragon managed to kill them without any complications.
Viscous green blood flowed through the dragon's jaws as it devoured the corpses it collected when the squad advanced.
After all,the more flesh and blood it absorbed the sooner it would regain its strength!

When the team reached a clearing where several bones and animal remains were lying on the ground, a loud noise echoed in the squad's ears, making them have to cover their ears in order not to become deaf from the pain.
"Where is it?" Rainer wondered as he looked around, a gigantic shadow faded through the trees moving at full speed.
The figure was several meters tall but its body was too thin for its size, its long legs ended in sharp tips able to pierce rocks like they were tofu. The spider was so swift that nobody noticed when it attacked the squad....

A white 'rope' was shot towards one of the cultivators, his chest was hit by the long 'rope', but instead of hurting him, the rope adhered to his chest without showing signs of separation, it looked like it had been glued!
"Cut the thread!" Shouted Rainer as he used his spatial cutting to attempt to slice 'the white rope'.

Before his attack hit the thread or anyone was able to react, the string constricted and the cultivator quickly disappeared into the dark forest, the team was only able to hear his cries before they were silenced by a chewing noise....
"It has surrounded us! Stay alert!" Liann said as she approached Rainer in case the spider became interested in him.
Lerna and the rest took care of the spiders that kept appearing.
The squad got close enough to help if someone was attacked by the giant spider.
"Don't worry about the beast...we have its worst enemy on our side... "Said Rainer smiling with confidence.
The main enemy of speed and agility were restrictions or obstacles and one of the main predators of spiders are lizards.
Rainer had a giant lizard on his side! Although it was called a dragon, this beast had no wings, it was just a lizard that had awakened a part of its dragon lineage.

As Rainer supposed, the spider attacked him, the only target that was separated from the rest of the group ( upon the dragon ).
Liann shot an arrow towards the forest in an attempt to stop the aggressor but it was useless.

The spider's legs were shaking from the impact force, it seemed to have received a considerable amount of damage from the collision.

Stunned, the spider panicked when it saw that its strategy had failed, it quickly tried to get up and flee, but the dragon pulled the thick thread again bringing the spider closer to the claws of death...
The spider tried to resist, but a large number of its legs were damaged and its strength depended on summoning numerous spiders to drown the enemy, opponents like this dragon were its worst nightmare!
Trapped in a dead end, the spider used its most powerful attack and last chance to flee!
