"What is this thread?" Rainer wondered before remembering that something punctured his neck during the fight.
After bending down Rainer was able to see that the thread was connected to his neck.
"It was an attack after all! If I follow the thread I will find the aggressor!" Rainer thought.
Suddenly,a strong feeling of weakness ran through Rainer's body, causing him to fall to the ground.
"My body... it feels heavy..."
It was exhausting to move, he just felt the urge to sleep.
"Kekekeke, I'm almost done... "A sudden laugh reached Rainer's ears removing all evidence of drowsiness from his body.
In his legs, a small transparent and invisible sphere to normal eyes sucked the thread constantly, he didn't know what was snatching him but it had to be something important!
Inside the transparent dome, a bug had grabbed his clothes and was eagerly absorbing the thread.
"A soul attack!" Rainer finally recognized what was happening after identifying the attacking bug.
A Soul Leech Bug!
"Physical attacks do not work on it once it has begun its attack, only a soul attack can counteract another soul attack." Rainer decided to return soon to the Sect, maybe there was time to save himself!
"It is useless, I have been sucking up your soul since the start of the fight, you will soon be nothing but an empty shell!"
The hoarse but familiar voice of the monstrous man indicated that the bug was none other than Kirios, the man who had been killed by the zombie!

"A crystallized soul!" Kirios's mouth looked like it was going to start drooling after seeing such a discovery.
Soul is immutable for most people, only geniuses with special physiques are able to empower their souls before reaching the Nascent Soul stage.
