It was a normal day for Dexter, filled with killing and blood. He was just returning after completing a high-level assassination while eating a hotdog.
He was at top of his level and couldn't go any further in terms of strengths. So he would train every day to maintain his top conditions and besides training his only hobby was watching anime and reading novels and eating.
He lived like king in his mansion, he never knew his parents although he wasn't an orphan but was left in an orphanage. At the age of ten, he was selected as a candied for a special school and then trained for eight years in the art of assassination. He finally reached the top of the line. He has already trained in ki until his body could support him. So he has a nice body with muscles in the right place. He was also a lady killer in terms of looks and was locally known as a rich playboy. He had sex with many women but due to his profession never settled down.
While eating he went to a rundown building which was the headquarter for his mission. He was also good at disguising as no one ever saw his real face. During all those years he only had made one friend and was close to him as a blood brother, but this brother of his had a family whom he needed to support. He hasn't met him since he left the academy. While deep in his thought he submitted his mission, got his pay and left for his house.
First, he checked the houses surrounding to find anything suspicious and cautiously checked his traps; everything was normal so he opened his house's door and entered. His house's living room was covered in showcases and every showcase was filled with different anime figurines. Out of which his most liked anime was Naruto, Fairy Tail, High School DXD, he was also a fan of Dragon Ball Z because he himself was a master of Ki. After living the living room he was greeted by a big library where he stored every type of Manga as well as novels. Even the novels that weren't available he has made a print of them and created a hard copy of each of them. He really wanted to live a life in such world were power could settle everything, but alas, feeling a little depressed he took a shower then started to watch the episode of DXD, while swearing at Issei for neglecting all the beautiful girls around him. Feeling frustrated he switched to Fairy Tail then he again swore at Natsu for ignoring Lucy, then he switched to dragon ball and broke his laptop seeing Vegeta treat Bulma like a shit. Then he changed to Naruto, in a new laptop and beat the shit out of it for neglecting all the beautiful girls.
"Oh god, how fun would it be if I were born in those worlds, But just my luck." Dexter said with a sigh.
He threw the broken laptop in the trash bin and went to the kitchen to make something for himself. He has almost toured every famous restaurant from all over the world and learned from the masters as this was the only thing that could satisfy his hunger after the assassination. He could be called the most skilled chef in the world if you don't consider the assassination skills.
After the food, he got a call from his long-lost silent friend to meet up as he wanted to talk to him about something in the evening at the roadside stall. Confirming the location he started to read the novel of TDG, ATG and finally when he finished ATG it was time for the meeting as he stood up there were several broken items around him. Again giving a sigh he cleaned his room, activated several traps around his home, then put on a Huddy and moved towards the meeting place. He had a feeling that this will be his last day.
Dexter," Hey man, it has been a long time since we met."
Man," Yeah Dex, it has been a long time."
Dexter," So what's up?"
Man," Nothing just wanted to meet up, to talk about the old days."
Dexter," Really?!, I thought you have come to finish me off, after all, I have become more powerful than anyone in the organization." Dexter said while taking a sip of scotch which was on the table.
" So, you knew?" Man asked astonished and surprised.
"Of course, I Knew, otherwise why would they even bother to send you?" Dexter said with a smile.
"Sigh, you know it would have been better if you did what you are told. But I don't think you will ever do that, after all, you only killed the corrupt and you even killed some of the important figures of the organization-"
"So how are you gonna kill me?" Dexter asked the man cutting him short of his lecture and man replied, "This stall has been installed with a bomb."
"WTF, are you dumb it will kill a lot of innocents." Dexter said with anger.
"I don't really care and that drink was installed with poison so you would feel weak really soon." The man said standing up.
"I always knew, you would bite me, in the end, could you at least move the innocents out of this place." Dexter asked with some hope.
"Alright, I would do that as of last favor for our friendship." Saying this man stood up and walked away slowly and only Dexter was sitting in the bench while drinking and the whole area was quiet.
"Finally, the last day I really hope my hard work paid off," Dexter said to no one in particular.
But as he was drinking he heard a child cry from his back and he was really shocked and the bomb even started to beep. When he turned around there was a girl who was crying as she was lost with a teddy in her hand. Seeing this Dexter wanted to move but was unable to due to poison finally cursing at his "Friend" for not even doing his work properly, he started to rotate his ki which elevated a little of his symptoms, he urged his body to move and it wasted a lot of his time and the clock was still ticking so he finally put the last spurt of his power in to his legs he jumped towards the girl and caught her then he threw her towards trash bags and hoped for the best. But the time was up and he was engulfed in the blast. In his last moments, he clicked the self-detonation sequence of his house and both of them came to end simultaneously and he was engulfed in nothingness.
