The sun had barely risen than females clad in unity white and blue, pink and white, orange and white. This were the maids of the most beautiful place in the entire Zhang Empire. The royal servants. Maid to the royal family Within the female dragon palace. The empress palace. The most said to be luxurious and beautiful place after that of the emperor. The latterns were lit and right within the room of many vases and furnitures of the most luxurious designs seated at a round well carved table was the Empress. Many gold ornaments decorated her hair and she looked glorious in her golden Hanfu.

"Your Majesty he is here."At those words she stopped writing and looked up at the man dressed in all black with barely his face showing.

"Welcome. Here."She said as the man only bowed his head without a word. She handed him a letter and gave a slight smile that barely reached her eyes.

"This must be delivered. Do you understand."The Empress asked the man who only bowed once again. At the mans retrieve her face went wary as she stood up and paced.

"Your Majesty needs not worry."Her most trusted servant said.

"No. He is too dangerous. This news must never reach his majesty. This is my last chance."Visibly she was in full shock of panic. Her servant understood not the worry of the master but only that this will cost her life.

Right back outside the palace the Sufeng household was in chaos. Sufeng Hwang could not be found. All sons and servants ran in all directions. But yet she could not be found. This was because she was at the outskirts of the capital. She was at DaJing. The place where the sun never sets. The air smelled of smoke and alcohol and one only cringed at the scent. The room was warmer compared to the outside which was cold and a drop of sweat came on Sufeng Hwang skin.

"Young lady must be feeling hot. Why not take off the fur."This man suggested. He was in his late twenties and had a light moustache. He was clad in violet and his eyes were suspicious of the lady looking at him.

"I am fine". Sufeng Hwang answered politely and sat down across the man.

"It is rare to see a lady come here. And at this early time of all."He paused as he sized Sufeng Hwang up"how may i help you??"

Sufeng Hwang gave him a slight smile"I come from the Sufeng household and am here on a trade."She stopped to take the tea that was been offered to her from the man. The room was very dark and not a single light came through.

"Sufeng huh??? You must be family?? Servant?? Are you the Generals daughter??"The man asked as he sipped his tea.

Placing the cup without taking a sip Of her drink "Matters not". The man shook his head"It does. Daughter Sufeng you roaming around a dangerous place like this. Far from home. Any harm can come to you in here and never will you be found."Sufeng Hwang did not know if he was trying to intimidate her or what he was doing but she brushed off the taught and feeling that crept up her skin.

She picked the cup"Manager Pei is a gentleman. This Sufeng daughter fears not."She placed it back without taking a drink. Manager Pei was taken aback. No one within the entire Wang Province knew that he lived here. Nor that he ran this place. He could only feel cautious and wondered on her actions. For once in a while she would pick the cup and without a sip place it back down. He wondered what she was thinking. Sufeng Hwang knew who she was talking to. She was talking to the son of the most renowned most scholarly person in the entire Zhang Empire. No matter what needs be said she needed to think of what she was saying. She had known him in her past life and how fore sighted he was."Indeed one is the daughter of General Sufeng Ling. Lady Sufeng trusts this lord. This lord wishes to know how he could help thee."He wished to ask her how she knew his name. And also his personality but he kept it to himself. Certain things are best not known and if He is to be made aware he shall be."The Sufeng Family serves only the WangFu Clan."She stopped to inspect Manager Pei impression before continuing"At this moment as we are speaking a letter is been sent to Prince Hu. That messenger should be passing this route."Manager Pei only laid back as he played with the ring on his finger. He couldn't figure out what she was thinking or feeling. On the outside she looked like an innocent little girl but her eyes were that of a woman. Sharp and cat like deer. Clear."You want the letter to be intersected??"He asked her casually putting on an unphantomable look."That message is from Empress Zhang UK. And cannot be intersected easily. One needs to send his best swordsman. The messenger can be left dead or alive."Her words ticked him. This letter was sent by the Empress. And she lived not in the palace but Sufeng Hwang knew this. Someone was behind her and she definitely did not come on her free will. Could it be the General. He taught to himself."Empress. How does young lady Sufeng know this??"He asked her as he leaned forward."A little bird told me."Her response only made him to burst out laughing. He waved his hand as every body within the room left. He expected a response like this."Allow me to serve you tea again. That one must ne cold ."He said as he served he another tea. This one was tasteful as Sufeng Hwang took a sip of it. "Many thanks."Placing the cup down she looked at the Manager who spoke up."This Pei son serves only the WangFu. Speak up Daughter Sufeng. This official will help."The air turned serious. Sufeng Hwang smiled internally. She had Manager Pei on her side. And this was nothing more than a sign of mini Victory. "The main brain behind the emperor is Prince Hu. He must be terminated."She said withal serious mean."He is the Emperors Elder brother. The only one he can trust. We cannot lay a hand on Prince Hu without been found. Heaven and earth will be turned. This is almost impossible."Manager Pei said as he looked at Sufeng Hwang face. Yet nothing today detect. She gave a slight smile "Almost impossible."She repeated what he said as Manager Peis eyes twitched."Both brothers must be made to kill each other"His eyes widened in shock. This was completely impossible"There's nothing on Prince Hu for his majesty to doubt."He said as he watched her take another sip of her tea. "If there is nothing then something must be made up. Consort Mei was Prince Hu lover. He gave her to his majesty as a token. She gave birth to a premature baby. Yet this child looks like Prince Hu."This came as a complete surprise. Now he was sure someone was behind Sufeng Hwang. She couldn't have known this. She lived outside the palace. And the palace is a tomb of secrets. For her to know this..."Even so. His majesty will be not be ready to take action against the prince. He is his greatest support. But then it can be done."He said as he now completely understood her motive. He knew the reason of her been here."Prince Hu can be made to move down to the capital. But the last step remains with his majesty. A move from him can either declare victory or Failure for us."US. Sufeng Hwang played that word in her mind. He was considering her an ally. In her past life. They never interact but he had a very high estimation on her her part. "That will be taken care of by the Empress herself. We need not do anything."She simply replied to him and stood up. Manager Pei understood once again and stood up to walk her off.

Sufeng Hwang felt cold as she walked on the street of Jill. She was still far from home and needed a carriage to get back to the capital home. She was leaping a little as it was that she twisted her leg while walking to DaJing. Now because of the cold weather the pain had increased. Snow flakes fell from the skin as she extended her hand to collect part of it. This was necessary. In exactly three months from now,her eldest brothers will be beheaded. And this needs to be prevented. One way or the other..

Three month. That would be the normal time Sufeng Qui would have if this time was the same as that of the past life. The Sufeng family has its allegiance to the WangFu royals and to the empire. It was one of the most powerful clan in the entire Zhang Empire and it had the largest of all armies. Over A hundred thousand soldiers all over the capital and stationed at the border of the Empire. The more powerful a clan becomes the more dangerous it is to the ruler. And this only made the emperor fear more as it is that only the Sufeng Family with its great army can dethrone the Emperor. No matter what happens with this capabilities they could never be tamed. Sufeng Hwang only sighed as her carriage carried her all the way. In her past life, during this time Prince Hu was in the capital for a visit. It was during this short visit that Sufeng Ling was called to the palace and he never came out as all sons of the Sufeng were arrested. Her father Sufeng Ling was innocent of all crimes and was to be beheaded publicly but doing so will break the family forever. And what about the kins. They would become nobody. It was by this that Sufeng Qui takes upon himself the blame. It was a great blow to thy father and since the Sufeng Brothers fought over leadership and position. They forgot family. They forgot everything and in their thirst for power they sent their own sister into the Wolves den without their fathers consent. In this lifetime she wish to rectify that. Change the course of events. Only if prince Hu is out of the picture can she be sure to keep her family safe to focus on other things. The carriage jolted suddenly as the door was been opened harshly. She snapped her head instantly to the door to see Sufeng Qui with a grave and angry face. Without a word he extended his hands for his younger sister. But she took it not and got down. "Mothers have gone berserk."Sufeng Qui warned her with an unpleasant tone."Father"was all she asked as she watched her brother shaking his head.

Hand in hand they entered the house only to see a commotion. "Young lady Sufeng. Mistresses Young lady is back. Young lady is back.!!!"One of the servants kept shouting. No sooner said than Bai Liu came running. She looked like a tornado had just swept her ashore. Her hair was disheveled and she was still in her night wear. She jerked Sufeng Hwang towards herself and held her arms tightly as she shook her vigorously."Sufeng Hwang do you want mother dead.!!!! Is that it not??? Hmmm?? You want to kill me?? Then do it with your hands right here. Do it."Bai Liu screamed out at her daughter who just watched her as though all she was saying made no sense. But Sufeng Hwang admired her actions. It showed what of a caring mother she is. Her eyes softened at the look of her mother."Mother Bai forgive younger sister. It was rather this elder brother who has wronged. Lady Bai was asleep while one came to tell thee. It is rare to see a proper sunrise this days. This son has committed a sin please punish him."Sufeng Qui defended his sister as he placed both hands on his forehead, knelt and was preparing to bow to the ground when he was caught up by Bai Liu. Sufeng Hwang stood surprised at her brothers actions. He was angry at her yet was ready to protect her. Family First. She gave him a thankful look. "Young master need not bow to this mother. I understand. As thees brother one must have taught of thy blisters wellbeing please do rise."Bai Liu said to Sufeng Qui as he stood up along with thy mother. All maids were dispersed and so were brothers and other consort after each gave their views. Bai Liu saw to it that Sufeng Qui took Sufeng Hwang to her chambers in the western court. Soon did both reach the western court than Sufeng Hwang ripped her hand from her brothers grasp and walked right into her sleeping chamber. Her walking away fast did not change anything on Sufeng Qui side as he walked right into the room and closed the door hard scaring the two servants within the room. "Many thanks to older brother."Sufeng Hwang said walking to her bed as she sat down. She looked at the fuming face of her brother. There were two things making him angry. The first was the disappearance of Sufeng Hwang and the second was the matter of consort Mei. "You knew"he said gravely low. Taking her cloak off she looked at her brother sideways"Get out". Her maids did not argue and just went out without a word. Placing her cloak on her bed"Yes i did."The look that she gave his brother was that of (are we really going to do this brother. Do you really wanna do this??). He paced "are you insane. What do you think you are doing?? Who is behind you. Who has forced you to do this younger sister."He said the last part softly. Sufeng Hwang did not answer and went over to the window. The very minute she opened it a cold breeze hit her in rhetorically face. She inhaled it in. As she repeated the answer she had given to Manager Pei"The Sufeng Family serves only the WangFu clan."sheturned to her brother and gave him a stern look."And i am going against the Emperor".

A dead silence fell. He was shocked beyond comparison. Looking at her eyes to see any type of fear, hesitation, but as he looked it felt as though he was standing before a person of high authority and not his sister. He looked anywhere else but her eyes. "It still does not justify your words. Who is behind you."He asked as he looked back at his sister. Who is behind me. Good question. "No need". She answered him as she closed only part of the window. The room was becoming colder. She had opened it to reduce tension but now was slightly regretting it. "No need?? You are attacking the Emperor using the woman he loves most in the royal Harem. Tell this brother who it is. This burden must be taken off younger sister shoulder."He said to his sister who only turned back to the window and looked outside. The ground was covered in snow. "Many thanks "she simply replied."Little Flower."Sufeng Qui had barely started than Sufeng Hwang turned and looked at him gravely."Sufeng Qui!!"his name was spoken out with authority. This was the first time she had called him by his full name and he was shocked he looked at Sufeng Hwang in utter disbelief. The eyes that looked at him.made him feel little."You are the Di eldest some of the Sufeng Family. Whoever is behind me or not. Must you not bother. This household is your priority. Order in the Sufeng Family is your duty. What do you think will happen if you were to be in harm?? This brothers of yours will tear each other apart. Our family will fall. You are our pillar. And it is our duty to protect not only each other but also this family honour. Is brother so short sighted?? The Sufeng Family is one of the most powerful when it comes to military power. We are a threat to the Emperor. Only we can remove him. That is what he fears. He will clear our family out forgetting all that we have accomplished. And this sister is only trying in herl little efforts to stop this. Father is a warrior not a politician. And we who are aware of political affairs should be his third and fourth arms. This sister is relying on this elder brother."She turned her back on her brother after every word been said. Sufeng Qui felt guilty within his heart and proud to have a younger sister that was so smart. Sufeng Hwang walked to her bed and sat down. No matter what Sufeng Qui wanted to say, he knew not how to phrase it."This younger sister is tired. If one do not mind. This sister of yours will like to be alone."with that been said Sufeng Qui with a heavy heart left the room after the words were been spoken by Sufeng Hwang. She sighed in heart as he left. She meant not to talk to him like that. But it was necessary. He needed to open his eyes. Because he was the pillar of the Sufeng Family. And a house without a pillar is equal to a bird without wings.
