After the tournament, the school year ended and all the students were on vacation now.
Zaid and Elijah were in a coffee shop, both calmly smiling as well, and were joking with Linley to the side.
But in truth, neither Reynolds nor George had suffered much in the past.
"Brother, as you know, tomorrow the academy will take me, Ava and Evelynne to the real valhalla. What should we do today?" Zaid asked.
"Nothing, my sister and her friends are walking around the city and today I have something to do. I just came to say goodbye and why do not you go out with your girlfriend or have you two separated?" After paying the bill, Elijah get up and walked to the city's exit.
One day has passed, and a silhouette could be seen walking through the vastness sand.
Elijah drinked a bottle of water, he could feel the sun burning behind his back, its heat radiating outwards into the bright day. Elijah searched for a place in the shade to rest, sat on the ground and began to cultivate. He had great difficulty in recovering his energy. since in the desert, the Fire, Light and Earth elements were richest while the other elementals exist in small quantity.
Following the map Damian had given him, a mountain rose before his eyes. looking at the sunlight reflecting on the mountain. Using [Void Steps] he reached the foot of the mountain in a few seconds. The first thing he saw was a cave opening in front of him.
A hole in the mountain, full of tiny sparkling crystals,it was like the stars of the night sky, making it so mysterious. Inside the cave, the crystals iluminated everything. Elijah felt something like an invisible force, calling for him. On the end of the cave it was an empty room with a tree which was emanating divinity.
"I had come here just for a tree!?"
Elijah was a bit upset as he walked until here only to find a tree and not a weapon or armor. When he was about to touch it...
"Boom!"
Hearing this sound, he turned imediataly and from the cave's entrance, he saw an intense
green light covering the entire desert. Behind him, the tree begin to shine with the same light as a green vortex formed on the tree and absorved Elijah.
When he was about to enter the vortex, images from his home emerged on his head before a figure surge from the entrance and jumping on the vortex.

Opening his eyes, Elijah saw a body lying beside him. "Chloe?" Chloe had just open her eyes as well and hearing the way Elijah had called her, she jumped back. "Wait! you knew?"
Elijah scratched his head and replied while looking at the floor. "Yeah, i had discovered for some time alrea..."
"If you knew, why did you ignore me for so many days?"
"I think is better we talk later as we need to know were we are, right?"
"Okay, so where we will sear..." Before Chloe could finish, they finaly realized they were in a abandoned city.
Looking arround, they saw flesh and blood covering the streets. In the entire city they were the only ones alive, as everthing else was ruins and corpses. The ruins around him were strange as it gave him a familiar feeling. Looking at the ground, he saw a wood plate and the moment he read it, It was as if God had stopped time as intense fury were reflected on his eyes.
Chloe looked at Elijah's strange reaction and leaned forward to see the wood plate. When her eyes focused on the wood plate, she understood the reason for his furry as it was written.
