Chapter 8: Always Been There

“What are you doing here?”
A cold voice came from the door. Yu Su saw the Proprietress entered the room with a heavy face.
She scolded unhappily, “Although you two are guests, you can’t go running around in my hotel. Some places aren’t meant for guests.”

She turned her head and looked at Wang San, they stood up almost at the same time and headed to the door.
She opened the door but did not go out immediately, not until a tall shadow was pushed out from the next room by Zhuang Han.
Cha Nan was still holding the kitchen knife, he quickly moved to re-enter the room. The next moment, before he could do anything, the door was slammed shut by the people inside.
He seemed to hesitate for a moment, as if worried about something. He put down his hands and turned to Yu Su and Wang San’s direction, preparing to leave.
Yu Su retracted her head in time and was not discovered by Cha Nan.
When she looked out again, she saw the black shadow had reached the doorway diagonally opposite of their room, he entered the room by passing through the door panel.
Wang San and Yu Su looked at each other then nodded, they walked out of their room together and reached the daughter and son-in-law room. Wang San pushed the door quickly and Yu Su immediately pressed the light switch at the entrance.
However, there was no one in the room except for them.
Clearly, Cha Nan had come inside, they saw this with their own eyes, but now, he had disappeared.
Yu Su frowned and whispered, “He should be hiding here.”
Wang San nodded and motioned her to get out.
When they returned to their room, he said, “He didn’t succeed just now, but he didn’t continue to entangle with them. Instead, he immediately went to hide, apparently afraid of something.”
“He must be afraid of Proprietress.” Yu Su concluded.

Yu Su took a deep breath and heard her heart beating more rapidly, still, she headed to the other side.

Soon, the Proprietress twisted her head 180 degrees and looked at Yu Su.

The Proprietress walked backward, heading to Yu Su.
