Something appeared behind Aarav. "Aarav watch out!" Paulus pushed Aarav to the side and a large light blue-gray fin divided the two of them. The sudden from Paulus forced Aarav underwater.

Aarav looked through the bubbles to see this massive creature devour the jelly-fish before them. The sudden attack stopped them from charging for their beast arts.

The smack of jellyfish was divided and eaten upon. Every time the shark swam through the group of fish, hundreds were swallowed by the massive jaws.

Aarav and Paulus started to swim away from the ship. They knew they needed to put some distance between them and ocean beasts.

The shark activated his own beast arts and turned solid steel. The jellyfish switched to using their toxins, but it did not affect the shark. He kept on swimming through the smack, thinning it out bite after bite.

As Paulus and Aarav were trying to swim away with what strength they had left, a gust of wind swooped down and grabbed them and brought them into the air next to a winged human.

A man clads in silver armor, long black hair, and a beard that would make many men jealous flapped its wings as it stared at the two humans before him.

"Hello, humans of earth. I am Paziel, the blacksmith. We will talk later." Paziel flicked his hand and flung the two into a colossal airship floating down. The ship was as large as Hope.

The winged human just flapped his wings while looking upon the savageness of the shark.

"I read in a book about a man searching for a white whale all his life. Are you my Moby Dick beast?"

The shark became intelligent upon achieving Avatar warrior level. He could sense another warrior in the area. The shark became on guard at this new threat.

The jellyfish, taking the chance to scatter and run, swam away while the shark was distracted.

Paziel pulled out two hammers and launched a fireball attack at the shark. Mainly, he wanted to probe the beasts' strength. The flame art was terrifying but straightforward. Not even Aarav who uses water element would have blocked this simple and direct attack.

The shark saw the fireball coming at him. He used his coated metal tailfin to whip a wave of water to counter it. The intensity of fire turned the wave into steam and plunged into the ocean behind it.

"Oh, it moved quickly."

Right below Paziel, the shark jumped out of the water and tried to bite him in half. Swinging down his hammers, Paziel knocked the shark back into the water. The vibration from hitting the solid metal beast caused Paziel hands to numb up a bit. A smile drifted across the man's face.

"This beast is interesting."

The winged humans aboard the ship detained Aarav and Paulus. The one in charge was an early Avatar warrior. He looked at the two of them and said, "We mean you, humans, no harm. My name is Usdem. We only wish to bring you back to our kingdom and show you our way of life. Once you are healed up, you may leave or stay."

Hearing all of this, Aarav looked at Paulus. The Renegades had few interactions with the winged human race. Aarav talked to the ones at Lankani City, but never learned they didn't treat humans as slaves like the other races.

"Sir, we have several humans on board that ship that need care."

Usdem turned to the man next to him and said something. The two discussed a bit, and the man ran out of the room. "He is going to send in a recovery team once the battle with the beast is done outside."

The battle outside the aircraft was heating up. The shark beast spent most of its time dodging Paziel's attacks and then striking back with a close-range charge or bite.

Paziel used ranged attacks for offense and his hammers for defense. The hammer strikes were starting to crack the sharks metal coating and cause him great pain.

The shark started to make a run for it. Seeing the shark swim away, Paziel followed it by air. "I've followed you from the North Ocean," also known as the North Atlantic Ocean. "I'm not letting you get away today."

The beast knew it was in trouble. It started to rotate its mana throughout its body to recover quicker. The metal armor on its body began to heal when giant fireballs began to bombard the shark.

The shark was filled with fear and dread. After traveling so far, this is where it would finally die. The shark had goals and things it wanted to achieve. They might not be great goals by human standards, but it was things it strived for.

Hanging onto this last sliver of hope the shark dove deep into the ocean hoping the flying pest wouldn't be able to follow. The lamniform shark dove for almost a few kilometers until it stopped to survey the area. It wondered if the human followed it.

"Hahahaha, you thought this would stop me!" Speeding down through the water was Paziel in a wind barrier. Not only was Paziel proficient in using fire mana. He also trained in the element of wind.

The shark didn't know what to do. This creature decided to follow him into his domain. If a shark could grin, then that is what this beast was doing.

The massive torpedo-shaped creature swam at Paziel. The metal shark slammed into him facing off against his dual hammers. The blow almost stopped Paziel's wind barrier. Coughing, Paziel spat out a glob of blood from the last impact.

The bit of blood touched the water, and the smell wafted its way to the shark. For great whites, their sense of smell allows them to smell blood for miles away and when its close by can cause them to act aggressively. The shark entered a berserk mode and dived at Paziel again.

"I was going to study you alive for research, but I don't think you are going to give me that option."

Flames lit upon each hammer. Winds from the barrier started to swirl around each hammer creating a ball of fire on each club. Paziel stretched out both hammers outward and then brought them together.

The shark was met with a fire and wind shockwave that shredded through the beast. This was why an Avatar level creature couldn't face a Construct level warrior.

The ocean dissipated and left a ten-kilometer part in the water. In the center of it was Paziel. The water eventually caved in and recovered its form. Paziel burst from the ocean holding the great white's head.

"I wanted to obtain more than just this, but at least we rescued some humans." Paziel looked over to see a few winged humans meeting him in the air.

"Sir, Usdem told us there were more humans aboard that vessel. May we leave to retrieve them?"

Paziel nodded his head and flew up to the ship to store the shark head. The winged humans eventually gathered all the personnel and Hiro. They loaded them on the aircraft and took off back to home in the north.
