"..." Simon bit into a loaf of bread, barely making a sound.

Blue was busy investigating in the city which left Simon some time to not be around her. Using the excuse of 'I have done a lot of work already, now carry some of your own weight', Simon managed to get out of investigative duties, instead he spent the day eating food and drinking wine on the balcony of his room.

Without his dear daughter and disciples to entertain him with their energetic behaviour, Simon quickly became dull again. With a tired expression and a constantly aggravated voice, Simon had reverted back to his behaviour from before he met Dahlia.

"I wonder if Dahlia is eating well? Is that wife of mine feeding our daughter well? Does Dahlia still miss her dad? I wonder when Dahlia will arrive…" A doting father indeed. He would kill millions for Dahlia if he had to.

"Hmmm… I might as well get a gun before Blue comes back. It certainly helps when you can shoot back."

Simon began meditating on his bed. With his eyes closed and his hands gripped together, Simon began piecing together his gun spirit. Of course, Simon was literally the best person for this.

After transcending the apex of the visionary world, Simon 's imagination and processing power had far exceeded any person in this world. As such, it did not matter even if Simon had no talent, he could still piece together his gun from just his mental strength and imaginative power.

'Imagery' was one of the strongest points of the Visionary system, enabling one to achieve mental powers that could hardly be imagined. Seeing and imagining are two different things, only when your imagination becomes limitless and powerful can one truly be a visionary. With this, Simon began to articulate a matrix in his mind.

A magazine had so many variables to be handled. The equations of the curves, the thickness of the shell, and the mechanism that feeds the bullets.

Simon naturally knew a few guns since he put them in the novel. Naturally, he picked the gun which best suited him. A gun that could destroy anyone and anything.

"Deagle carbine."

A terrifying handgun known for its stopping power, but converted into a carbine package.

'If I can't kill someone with the first shot, the second shot will do the trick. However, it's unlikely I will ever need to do that. If everyone else in this world uses hunting rifles, muskets and semi-auto rifles, A deagle is enough.'

'Maybe I will encounter a few people with a burst rifle, but I doubt they can outgun me. At the very least, I can take on 20 people of the same level as me and get out of it without heavy wounds. It's totally not like my aim is already god-tier.'

Essentially, Simon had put a .50CAL handgun into a carbine configuration, complete with full auto capabilities and a wide range of possible attachment slots. If he wanted to snipe, he could just add a scope and extended barrel. If he wanted to rush, he could just switch to full auto.

That was Simon's mentality. Do something efficient. He already had enough of waving daggers at people for the last 2 and a half years. If anything, he was sick of it. Now he could just expend his energy and use it to shoot bullets everywhere.

'Hmmm… I probably will still need another minute to complete the frame for recoil reduction.'

Guns. Cultivation. Simon.

Don't mix the three.

1 hour later:

"Grey! I'm finally back… Praise me!" Blue jumped through the door with a stack of papers in his arms, throwing them mid-air at Simon.

"Why are you stupid?" Those were the last words Simon said before a stack of paper scattered all over the room and made a mess of everything.

"Oh, I forgot to bind it. Don't worry, Grey. I'm not the type of person to make the same mistake twice." Blue gave a hearty thumbs up and payed no attention to the mess she had made.

"Please pick everything up and tell me what you found."

"Oh! Sorry about that." Blue ignited a small flame on her fingertip.

"NO!!! DAMMIT! STOOOPP!!!" Simon hurled a huge water balloon at Blue, drenching her in the cold and ruining her outfit.

Since her outfit was thin and did not contain too many layers, mainly being a dress shirt and dress pants, Blue's skin was showing with a glistening plot cliche light centred around her chest.

"..."

"Go and change, I will just wait over here. You are too much." Simon sighed, dragging his fingers through his hair, rubbing his scalp vigorously with his expression turned sour.

"How are you going to take resp-"

"FOR THE LOVE OF WHATEVER YOU HOLD DEAR!! PLEASE JUST SHUT UP!!"

"Fine, fine. I was just trying to liven up the mood, but you are more stiff than your facial expression. Can't you just relax and be a bit more chill?" Blue tried to calm Simon. With a warm and gentle smile, contrasting her wet clothes and the mess all over the room, the scene could be considered as stupid.

"We are renting separate rooms from now on." Simon stormed off.

Next day:

"Okay, so you managed to find out that the sect is somewhere in the middle of the Dire Blood Mountains? And to get there we must complete a trial at the Yawning Immortals Sect to have the right to even enter…" Simon recapped what Blue had explained.

"Yes. An old dude said all of this and I think he wasn't lying. The old dude in a Xianxia novel barely tricks people, they always lead the protagonist to great places and give treasures. I think we can trust the old man's info." Blue shrugged her shoulders and slipped on a cup of iced tea.

"What else did you end up finding?"

"Ummm…" Blue fiddled with her fingers as her body began slightly shaking, much to the attention of the perceptive Simon.

Distressed would not be the correct word for it. More like a sense of hiding. Blue seemed to be holding off.

Her body had a few tells that Simon had managed to find. This time, she was fidgeting. Naturally she did not want to say something he thought.

'She is hiding something' Simon smirked before getting up.

BANG

Simon pressed his hand onto the wall behind Blue, leav8ng blue lodged between Simon and the hard cement.

"Tell. Me." Simon spoke in an urgent manner, placing his knee against the wall and looking Blue into the eyes.

"A bunch of 'young masters' are preparing to court you whenever you leave the inn. Word around town is that a mysterious fairy man has appeared with beauty surpassing any woman. Thus, everyone wants it." Blue blushed intensely with steam coming out of her ears.

"Oh. Nothing too important. Why were you so apprehensive? You know that we can just kill them all if they try anything, right?" Simon backed off, scratching his forehead slowly.

"Anyways, it is time that we get you a gun. Right now, you are the weakest link of the group. If you would be ever so kind, please sit down on the bed and take off all of your clothes."

"Why?!" Blue jumped out of shock.

"You don't have as much imaginative capabilities to summon a gun, so you will heat up after a while and burn off some of your clothes. You will also sweat a ton." Simon briefly explained as he rummaged through his spatial storage.

"Are you saying that I'm dumb?" Blue's forehead creased and her face showed an annoyed look, paired with her arms crossed and her fists clenched.

"Maybe… let's not get into that. I happened to have a foundation which works really well with this task. But you probably don't. So I will guide you and open your pathways to include a gun of your choice." Simon place his hands on her shoulders, pushing her to sit down.

"I honestly don't mind if you keep your clothes on, just take a 12 hour shower when we are done." Simon noticed that Blue hadn't taken her clothes off and sighed as he took out a set of blueprints from his spatial storage.

"I give you 3 choices. Anti-tank rifle, M249, or AA-12."

"What are those?"

Simon of course forgot that Blue probably never lived on earth and did not know what these guns were. This left Simon with the arduous task of explaining further.

"Big sniper rifle that destroys stuff. Big automatic gun that shoots a lot. Big shotgun that shoots a lot." Simon acted as if he was explaining this to a child.

"Oh, I understand now." Blue gave a thumbs up.

"Okay, good. Now take these blueprints and familiarise yourself with the structure of the gun you want. While attempting to create it within your soul. If you can do this well, you might end up with a top-grade one."

"Who knows? Anyways, I'm going back to bed. Wake me up when you are done." Simon went to bed as quickly as a man could open their eyes.

"Hmmph! Baka-"

*Death stare*

Blue immediately when quiet again, feeling as if a thousand chills had just gone down her spine.

'Grey says to pick between any of these. I kinda want to just spray, it's not like I can aim a gun. I might as well just hold down the trigger on the M249 and hope for the best. Just watch, Grey. I am going to become stronger than you and then you won't be able to treat me like a kid anymore! On a side note, I should get to work, Black would kill me if she finds out that I'm slacking.'
