"My Bloodship, I come to you with a disturbing piece of information." The servant bowed.

"Speak."

"The fifth lord of the humans has been announced, a 6th rank visionary that is said to have the intellect of a god. Intel suggests that he can turn a lowly beginner rank visionary into a 4th rank within the span of a month. That's not all, he is also a professor of Haven and teaches a class of 100 now genius level students."

"Interesting... Only a 6th rank human dares to make such a ruckus in this world? The 4 senior lords have grown incompetent at their old ages. The lordship is made up of those that are on the verge of ascending past 7th rank, and they choose a lowly 6th rank professor of Haven."

"Well, has anyone witnessed his battle capabilities?"

"No, your Bloodness. Although, a few of his students have been seen in combat scenarios, towering over their peers."

"This keeps on getting more and more interesting, a human that has become the centre of the plot. To bad that he will die soon enough. Our invasion is scheduled to take place in 6 months, the end of Haven's educational year. No one will survive, I will make sure of it."

"And yes, inform Callus that he has permission to oppose this new professor... what's his name?"

"Peter White."

"Peter White... Make sure his students and him are crushed under our boots."

1 week later:

The days went by with much more liveliness as the lecture room became a hub for intense note taking and open discussion. With only another week to prepare for the Trial, Simon increased the intensity of his lessons, making it virtually impossible for a student to look away for a moment and stay on track.

In the span of this week, Fabian Winston, or 'Callus', silently prepared some obstacles for Simon's group. From bribery to downright targeting, Callus had planned it all. The Trial By Fire would be a direct challenge to Simon's group, not only by demons, but by their very own peers. The silently plotting Callus is a devil of low standing, but nevertheless is a devil. He never spoke much, but he talked with his actions. Everything could be conducted with gestures and money, and Callus just so happened to possess mountains of money reserves.

And all that could be seen from the devil's face was a gleaming smile that could invoke terror in any lesser being that witnessed it. The strength of a late 5th rank devil should never be underestimated.

However, Simon was contemplating something else. In the span of the week, his goal had spontaneously ended. He had received the respect of his entire class as their teacher. It happened at no important time, sometime in the middle of one of the heated lectures. It made Simon wonder about who was the last person to hold off on viewing him as a their teacher. What did Simon do at that moment that made them change their mind?

'People are complex, not everything can be deduced by logical reasoning. If things were logical, I wouldn't be a f***king lord!'

But whatever it may be, he had no time to ponder. He had classes to teach, and he had a trial to prepare for. When he wasn't teaching, Simon was training, when he wasn't training, he was learning. The only time he didn't do any of the three was when he was doing his daily preparations, or was sleeping. It had actually gotten to the point where Simon had started to gain experience points in his mental strength, something that was virtually impossible for the majority of people.

Along with all of this business, Simon had another worry or two to deal with. Other than Tyrone and Jack, very one had managed to progress as single rank. Tyrone was still held up at the bottleneck to 5th rank and Simon could also sense that somehow Jack was at the very same stage. An impossibility was before him, the weakest of possibly the entire lecture class had become the fastest progressing student. Jack was at 4th rank, 5th vision only a week ago, but now he had raced to the peak of the rank. Not long from now, he would probably have two students that possess legacy cores.

Such progression was virtually impossible in the novel, but the shear technique and knowledge that his students had gained under him had boosted them to incredible heights.

"Well then, class is dismissed!" Simon cheerfully declared.

It was nothing like the first lecture he taught. None of the students got up from their seats until they had consolidated everything they were taught and neatly cleaned up their notes. They were in no hurry to leave, just the presence of Simon made them gain inspiration. Many delayed their exit by five minutes, but eventually most of the students leaved, not before offering their praise and respect for their professor.

"Thank you for the amazing lesson, Lord Professor." One of the students spoke as he clasped his hands.

In fact, this student was probably the only one that was still energetic after attending the lecture. It almost seemed that he loved the intensity.

"You are welcome, if you feel like you have more energy, read through this wave visionary technique booklet I compiled.

"Thank you, Lord Professor, I will make sure to finish fully reading through the booklet by the end of the night.

With that, the student left.

"Hey, Benny. You think PP-81G will be at the Trials?" Liam laughingly asked.

"He wouldn't miss it. PP-81G is going to rock the Trial harder than he rock-"

SLAP

"Dirty." A girl sneered.

"Uwaah, Damn, they figured out the code of PP-81G!" Benny sobbed.

"Whatever, I guess we might as well forget about PP for now. We can't let prof down, you and I will show the other teams what students of prof can do." Liam fist bumped Benny and laughed.

"Yeah! We aren't going to fail."

These two students went from 2nd rank to 4th rank as well, reaching 5th vision. Liam embraced theory to the point that he had a notebook with him no matter where he was, it had truely became his weapon of choice. So much so, that he modelled his personal weapon after a fountain pen; the spear he now call 'Tip'.

Benny too had gained many benefits since joining the class. He was among the best now, rivalling Liam's strength and dedication.

But nonetheless, the true hardest working students could be counted on two fingers.
