'Any and all grievances must be dealt with immediately. The loss of a soul, the loss of family, the loss of my very own twin brother, my loss...'

'What have I done wrong? Nothing, I have only tried to f***ing improve myself and now this happens. Life is very funny, it really knows how to throw a bus at you. If only I could throw one back.'

'I never helps when you are the one with a fading god complex. It just make s me feel a tad bit detached, but 'fading' is the key word. I was actually starting to feel like a a member of this family... but this damn idiot brother of mine had to go and die. So what can I do? I can only watch? No.'

'Anyone that dares to make a mess of my family will die a hideous death.'

Simon faced the door as he gathered the guards to quickly and quietly exit the dreaded room. Every guard waste no time in preparing themselves to leave, simply being in such a place could drive them mad. The stench of death only got worse over time, and it was nauseating. But before they left, Simon took a moment to close his dear twin brother's blank eyes and placed him away from the the rest of the corpses. He promised to himself that he would come back and take the body only after Ripper has suffered.

Anything else, is simply an insult to his pride as the elder twin. Even if Simon had to go to the deepest pits of hell, he resolved himself that he would find a way to read ire himself with his brother and kill Ripper. It was only a matter of time before he could do the latter task. He only needed to work harder and harder.

As for bringing his brother back, anything is possible in the Demon World. Death is a painful separation, but one can only push forward to rejoin with the ones they lost, and that is one of the many reasons people seek power. Immortality for one' self, the power to protect their family, wealth, and secrets.

"Maybe one day I can somehow bring you back. Bye until then." Simon said as he left the room with his guards. Turning right, they ran silently and finally found themselves at a balcony which had a vantage over an huge garden.

With a the gentle tap of their feet, they were unnoticed. Standing upon the open balcony, Simon ordered everyone to crouch down and avoid being spotted. Without a second sentence, they did just as Simon had instructed. Immediately after, the sound of footsteps and howling echoed from the centre of the garden. Around 30 devils in furred armour entered the garden with a group of 10 chained hostages. With the glance of his eyes, Simon immediately identified two of them to be the Diva of the Mansion, Hadrius Reaper, and his daughter, Hecate.

With a scowl so irritated that it could give another person a rash, Simon stared at Hecate. He was wondering in his head, 'Why did she survive and Jazukal did not? Is she more important...more valuable? She is but a witch. My brother should be the one that is still alive, she is just a waste.' These harsh words came from the depths of his afflicted heart, reflecting his state of mind. Even if his mind is strong, his emotional regulation is only for show. What is not shown in the outside, is driven into his heart.

Nothing could calm him, he only wanted Ripper's head. But of course, he was not crazy, such a task would require much more than a bunch of guards. He needed a well planned ambush, an ambush so amazing that it could kill a Great Visionary. But such a thing could only get him killed, a 4th rank cannot just ambush a 7th rank. Even Simon understood this heartbreaking fact.

Looking closer, he identified that all of the hostages had heavy wound inflicted upon them, almost as if they were driven to near death before surrendering. Even with such wounds, they were still the lucky ones, not everyone is alive.

"Senior guard, what is your name?" Simon whispered as he continued scouting.

"I am Lenn Darl, loyal guard of the mistress. I am at your service, all of these gang members will die under the fist of her bloodness." The senior guard quietly answered as he took a peak at the scene at the garden.

"I spot one very well dressed one, he must be Ripper." Simon quietly announced as he pointed at a gang member that wore colourful and extravagant furs on him. Wielding a heavy buster word on his back, the devil sported crimson horns, reminiscent of the blood he has spilt. With a terrifying reputation, no one had not heard of this man.

Ripper. The leader of an equally brutal gang. He is now here, killing nobles in their own homes. Very arrogant to the common person, only appearing to be a shameless murderer that killed for the sake of it, but this seemed all to different. Why did he take prisoners? Such a thing is unheard of in this situation. Usually Ripper would kill everyone, but now there are 10 surviving hostages, "how intriguing..."

Simon shot a glance at Lenn, giving a gesture to scatter his men around the gathering of gang members. With this, the plan to kill Ripper had begun. All Simon had to do was kill a devil that could kill him 10,000 times over, such a task could be considered impossible for all but Simon. With a terrifying technique and the advantage of stealth and surprise, could anyone stop him? Probably, but he did not care.

"Jazukal, I hope you have tears of joy when you see this."

SLASH

A blade of pure chaotic energy rushed forward and entered into a gang members neck, exiting through the other side. Instantly, the first devil fell.

A smile so terrifying that the moon could scream had just been birthed. Simon laughed, and the night turned silent.
