"Guild Master, Sir Yan and Lady Rae are here."

"Okay, let them in."

The guild receptionist opened the door to let Yan and Rae come in.

Snow was again at Rae's arms. He looked a little aggrieved because of his circumstances last night.

Rosella sat down on her chair watching both of them enter her office.

'Damn it. He's still as charming as yesterday.'

All day, she had been waiting for Yan to show up. Last night, she was determined to not be swayed of Yan's charisma. She will take over their next conversation today.

But much for her disappointment, Yan didn't came this morning. She knew that he will show up eventually to get their money but she slightly panicked when he still didn't show up when noon came.

She gestured her hands signalling them to sit.

"Please, sit down. I've already calculated the value of all your monsters cores. I again apologise that it took quite some time. In these parts of the continent, people don't usually sell that much monster cores. It was a good thing we had extra money."

Even when Yan drowned with Rae's body the last night and this morning, he still couldn't resist Rosella's beauty. With her usual scarlet and gold garments that respected all her curves, and with her bulging breast, she possesses a very different flavour from Rae.

"It's okay, Ms. Rosella. No need to apologise. It was the right decision that we stayed for the night. It made me happy that I did. Because of you, I slept really well."

When Rae heard his ambiguous words, she couldn't but blushed. She tried to pinch his waist but Yan was already prepared and caught her hands and began to tickle her palms. Rae blushed even more.

"Oh. It's great that you had a good night."

Rosella didn't notice the hidden meanings behind Yan's words but she noticed their secretive actions.

It was only then she looked closely at Rae.

'She looked slightly different from yesterday. She's still carry a cold expression but...hmm..what changed?'

She was a little confused. She knew Rae somewhat changed but didn't know where and how.

Yan held Rae's hands down but didn't dare to take advantage of her in-front of Rosella.

"Yes. Let's get back to the topic. So, how much did we earn?"

"Uh. Yes. They were a lot of relatively high level monster cores that you brought."

Rosella pointed at a small pouch in the table.

"Inside, there's a totalled of 300 gold coins. Please sign here and here to make our transaction official."

Yan knew the currency of this world because of Cain.

A copper coin is the lowest denomination in this world. It's followed by silver coins and then gold coins. For a normal person, gold coins would be a very large amount and thought to be the highest currency. But Cain told him that the greatest denomination in the Azureth are called Arcane Shards. It was the currency of civilisation of the past. Kingdoms already stopped making these type of currency because the technology to make those have already vanished in time. Cain added that an individual can only obtain it only in very difficult dungeons. It was extremely rare and only the strongest individuals or royalties possess those.

100 Coppers = 1 Silver

100 Silvers = 1 Gold

10,000 Golds = 1 Arcane Shard

In Rosario Village, a silver coin would make any villagers sing in joy while cry in tears. He thinks that only the Village Chief had gold coins but didn't think it would reach 300 pieces at that.

Yan didn't know the real value of all his monster cores be he knew Rosella would not be the type to dupe people.

"Oh. That much? That's great!"

Yan accepted it like stereo-typical villager winning a lottery. From penniless to having hundreds gold coins, he was really happy with the results.

As he was about to grab the pouch, he suddenly jolted. A cruel light flashed into his eyes but quickly vanished. He regained his usual jubilant composure.

Rosella saw the minute change of his.

'What was that? For a moment there, I thought I was in front of a very dangerous and cruel monster.'

Moments later, her eyebrow wrinkled. She noticed that a high level aura arrived at Bree.

'A Level 72 Warrior? If not for the artefact godfather gave me, I wouldn't even detects its presence. Wait. Did he noticed it before I did?!'

Rosella was shocked by her thoughts. Did Yan really noticed that individual before her? It would be very impossible for him to do so. But at the deepest part of her minds, she believed he can.

"Thank you, Ms. Rosella. With this, we can pay the registration fee for joining the guild and also, we can buy new set clothes and not looked country bumpkins anymore. Since it's already almost dark, we're going to stay in this town of another night and continue with our travel tomorrow."

"It's I that have to thank you. You must know that Bree's magic craftsmen are in dire of monster cores to make magic items. But due to not having enough supply, they were forced to buy cores expensively from other towns or worst, they move out. The cores that you've sold us is enough to sustain out town for the rest of the year."

"Then, we really came in time to save the town. Haha."

Yan and Rae both stood up and slightly bowed.

'He's going? And her I thought he's going to flirt with me at some point.'

Rosella was a little bit disappointed. Though subtle, Yan still noticed it. He just smiled.

"Thank you again, Ms. Rosella. My partner and I better get going to do our things. Now that we have money, maybe we can grab a dinner somewhere."

"Yes, maybe next time. You should treat your partner well, Mr. Yan."

Rosella's smile still manage bewitched Yan.

After doing the official process and paying the due amount, Yan and Rae had now officially joined the Adventurer's Guild. Both have them were handed an identification card with a Rank F.

Spending their hard-earned money, they spent the afternoon buying clothes, necessities, and food.

When the night came, Yan and Rae had a romantic dinner at the best restaurant in Bree.

After eating, they proceeded to return to the inn with Snow on Rae's arms. Right now, they are the one whose going to pay for their stay. It was a gold coin per night. Though a little high, they still payed of it.

- - -

It was midnight when Yan suddenly opened his eyes. He and Rae did not have sex this time because they think it's weird if Snow would watch them.

Snow wanted to be spoiled so he slept in between both of them in the bed.

After fixing his clothes, Yan jumped out of the window.

Rae opened his eyes to see Yan getting out of the window. She trusted Yan so she continued to sleep.

- - -

Rosella was at the balcony of her office. She was enjoying the night sky. She would often stand here to reminisce about her life.

Suddenly, a figure appeared near her. She was shocked for a split second then started to cast a powerful magic to attack the bastard. She immediately cancelled her magic when she heard a familiar voice that always played back in her mind since yesterday.

"Woah. Woah. Stop! Do you want to kill your future husband?"

"Mr. Yan? Is that you? What are you doing here? Also, what do you mean by 'future husband'?

Yan got close to her and was still wearing his evil smile. Though it was midnight, Yan can still see Rosella's exquisite figure.

"Of course I mean me, your future husband."

"Since when did I agree to be your wife? Even though you're with your partner, you still hit other women. Hmmp!"

Rosella pretended to be angry. Instead, she looked really cute.

"But you're not like other women, Rosella."

Rosella was stunned. Her heart skipped a beat. She was once again drawn into his eyes. Just by his words, she got of daze. Realising this, she started blushing.

"Hmm. Tell me. What are you really doing here?"

She asked him gently.

"Hehe. Actually, I wanted to ask permission from you. I want do something."

"Oh. What do you want to do?"

Yan fell silent for a moment then proceeded to tell his plan.

"I'm going to kill people."
