Cai Youyang had a good night’s sleep. When he roused, he heard the rush of water coming from the bathroom. He walked into the bathroom and saw Lu Feng in the middle of washing the pillowcase. A suspicious frown made its way onto his face. Why bother going through this much trouble? Couldn’t he use the washing machine downstairs?

Lu Feng shifted his gaze toward him. Then as though he knew what he was thinking, he explained, “You shot on it last night. It’ll be inconvenient if my parents see it.“

Cai Youyang “ah”-ed and recalled the disjointed tidbits of last night’s dream that he could still remember. It seemed that he had dreamed himself to be an emperor with Lu Feng as his male concubine… So he thought that the pillow was Lu Feng?

In a cautious manner, Cai Youyang asked, “Did I say anything strange?”

Lu Feng shot him a glance, not saying a word. He picked up the pillowcase from the water and wrung it dry. Then he took a clothes hanger so that he could hang the pillowcase on the balcony.

Cai Youyang grew more worried. After absentmindedly washing his hands and rinsing his mouth, he left the bathroom and noticed that Lu Feng had already finished hanging the pillowcase and was now sitting on the side of the bed. Cai Youyang questioned, “You’re not coming down for breakfast?”

Lu Feng pulled him over to the side of the bed and said, “You weren’t satisfied yesterday. Take your pick.”

Cai Youyang blinked and followed the direction of Lu Feng’s gaze. There, he saw some thick ones, some long ones, some with bumps all over its length, and also some… He sucked in a sharp breath, and his brain woke up in an instant. He must have been talking in his sleep last night, and Lu Feng had heard him.

In a swift manner, Cai Youyang admitted defeat. “I didn’t mean to. It was just a dream.”

Lu Feng retorted, “Do you remember what you said?”

Cai Youyang shook his head.

“If you really want to be the top, then it’s not impossible.”

This delighted Cai Youyang. But when he caught sight of those sinister toys through the corner of his eyes, shivers of fear ran through his spine. Lu Feng wanted to catch him by the pigtails? It wasn’t going to be that easy.

Voice earnest and sincere, Cai Youyang said, “No, I like being the bottom. How can you let a pure zero like me be the gong? I’m sure your current condition is only temporary.”

Lu Feng rubbed Cai Youyang’s head. “That’s what you really think?”

Cai Youyang vigorously nodded.

Lu Feng placed the object in his hand onto Cai Youyang’s palm, looking relieved. “I was originally going to prep myself with lube. But since you don’t care about being the top, then it doesn’t matter anymore.”

Cai Youyang was struck dumb. “Prep… yourself?”

Lu Feng tapped a finger against Cai Youyang’s cheek. “I can’t always make you feel too aggrieved.”

Cai Youyang’s intestines turned green from the regret. “Can I change my answer?”

Lu Feng shook his head. “You had your chance.”

Cai Youyang threw himself onto Lu Feng, getting a slight urge to cry. To think that he had missed such a good chance. “Give me another chance,” he begged, hoping that Lu Feng would soften up.

“Nope.” Lu Feng wrapped his arms around him but remained as unmoved as before. “People should stick to their words,” he said in a solemn voice. “You said you’re a pure zero, so I won’t force you to do something you don’t like.”

Cai Youyang earnestly said, “It’s ok to force me to do something every once in a while.”

Lu Feng stroked Cai Youyang’s back, restraining his inner desires and maintaining a straight and upright expression. “No can do,” he said. “I’m not that type of person.”

Cai Youyang had no choice but to let it go. If Lu Feng wasn’t willing to do it, then there was no way he could force him to. The torment he had experienced countless times in the past told him that the weak cannot compete with the strong.

After eating breakfast, he helped Yu Ling make dumplings, watching each dumpling be dropped into the pan. Then he had a sudden realization. In fact, Lu Feng had never intended on letting him top. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have taken out all those dreadful-looking toys to scare him.

Simply evil.

Cai Youyang felt a little angry. He originally planned to tell Lu Feng about the special markings on the dumplings with coins in them. But now, he decided against it. All the good fortune this new year would be his. As if he was going to share it with the devious Mr. Lu!

While Cai Youyang was fuming over what happened earlier that morning, Lu Chonghua, who rarely entered the kitchen, came in. He looked at Yu Ling and motioned for her to leave.

Yu Ling said, “I know what you want to ask Xiao Cai, and I also want to hear it.”

Lu Chonghua coughed unnaturally. He felt incredibly awkward and embarrassed asking about the children’s intimate affairs right in front of his wife. But knowing whether Lu Feng really was unable to do it or not took the utmost precedence. He had to know regardless of how embarrassed he was.

In a low voice, Lu Chonghua called out,” Xiao Cai…”

This was the first time Cai Youyang had ever heard Lu Chonghua call for him this kindly. In a slightly reserved manner, he responded, “Yes?”

Lu Chonghua shared a look with Yu Ling before muttering, “Last night…”

Cai Youyang broke into a blush.

Lu Chonghua grew hopeful, thinking that Cai Youyang’s reaction must mean that Lu Feng was able to perform like normal. He hurriedly said, “Last night, you and Lu Feng…”

Cai Youyang understood what he was trying to ask. In a similarly low voice, he answered, “We didn’t do it.”

Lu Chonghua’s face blanched. “Then his… his…”

Cai Youyang shook his head. “Didn’t stand up.”

An explosion resounded in Lu Chonghua’s mind as he found himself unable to bear this mental blow. Fortunately, Yu Ling was there to support his body. Otherwise, he might’ve collapsed. He hadn’t believed what Lu Feng had said, but now, the hard facts smacked him right in the face. Based on his many years of experience in crime investigation, Cai Youyang wasn’t lying.

In contrast, Yu Ling kept her composure perfectly fine, probably because she had a night to reconcile with it. “It’s not like he’ll be like this for the rest of his life,” she said. “Lu Feng doesn’t have any illness. He hasn’t experienced any disasters either. If we give him more supplements, he can always get better.” The son who they raised for more than 20 years wasn’t going to become just like a maiden like this.

Lu Chonghua slightly eased up. He then patted Cai Youyang on the shoulder and said, “Xiao Cai, I need your help on this matter. I… hope you don’t mind what we’ve done to you in the past.”

Cai Youyang shook his head. “Don’t worry, I’ll cooperate.”

Seeing his ungrudging appearance, Lu Chonghua felt touched. He originally planned to warn him not to spread this to other people, but it didn’t seem necessary now.

But his emotional state soon faded away after Cai Youyang continued, “Dad, Mom, since Lu Feng’s ED was caused by the pressure on him, you shouldn’t think about finding a girlfriend for him anymore. Think about it. I’m his lifelong love, but he also couldn’t contradict you. He probably feels very pained to be wedged between me and you.”

Lu Chonghua stiffened. Yu Ling swallowed her words of praise for Cai Youyang. The couple exchanged glances, thinking that this child really knew how to climb up the pole. In the elders’ mindset, one must always remain modest. Though Lu Feng was indeed deeply in love, how could he speak such words?

Lu Chonghua couldn’t accept it. He stiffly stood in place for quite a long while before turning to go find the Lubian wine he had kept hidden for a long time. Yu Ling gazed at Cai Youyang, a complex expression on her face, then left to continue cooking the mutton soup.

They just pretended that they hadn’t heard him…

When Cai Youyang saw the two elders employ ostrich tactics, he thought about Lu Feng’s current state. He already had ED. If they weren’t willing to give up and continued to pester Lu Feng to get a wife, then what was going to happen? Lu Feng already had enough pressure on his shoulders.

As he thought about this, he headed into the study to find Lu Feng, who was in the middle of reading a book. He sat beside him and pulled at his arm, softly saying, “I’ll never leave you no matter what your condition is.” He hoped that this promise could alleviate some of the pressure in Lu Feng’s heart and allow him to recover more quickly.

Lu Feng set his book down before turning to the side and bringing Cai Youyang onto his lap. He wrapped an arm around his waist and said, “Did my parents treat you badly again?” If he still couldn’t make his parents change their attitudes this time, then he could only use fiercer methods.

Cai Youyang rested his head on Lu Feng’s shoulder, enjoying the warmth of Lu Feng’s embrace. “No, they actually treated me much better than before. Dad even called me ‘Xiao Cai’ earlier instead of just ‘hey.’”

Lu Feng watched as Cai Youyang grew so ecstatic over such a small change in attitude. Heart dissatisfied, he said, “Let’s not stay here much longer. Let’s leave tomorrow.”

“No.” Cai Youyang jolted in a start, then quickly sat up. “Things have only slightly improved. If we leave so soon, then Dad and Mom will get angry again.”

Lu Feng’s face darkened. But he stopped talking about going home.

Cai Youyang’s heart eased, and he placed his head back onto Lu Feng’s shoulder. “If you really feel sorry for me, then why not grant this small wish of mine?”

Lu Feng’s heart jumped. In an instant, he guessed what that wish was. “No way,” he decisively responded. “Teacher Cai, you have taught others the saying ‘one must be a man of his word and resolute in his work.’”

Cai Youyang bit his lip. Lu Feng, who normally had a glib tongue, always acted imperiously whenever it came to bedroom matters. He pushed Lu Feng away, jumped up from his lap, and used his killer move. With tears in his eyes, he asked, “Do you really love me? Isn’t it just a matter of positions? Is it that important to you?”

Lu Feng didn’t speak, face resolute and unswayed. The problem of positions was naturally the most fundamental problem. Obviously, it was very important.

Upon noticing that his crying garnered no results, Cai Youyang wiped his tears and angrily left. Not only was he going to eat all the lucky dumplings, he was also going to consume all the Lubian wine and mutton meat, not giving Lu Feng any opportunity to mend his body. Maybe if this went on for long enough, he wouldn’t need to request to Lu Feng. He would just obediently lie down.
