魔物達の心を歓喜が埋め尽くし、湧き上がる衝動に任せて、その魔力を解き放った。
The monster’s hearts were filled with joy, as they left it to their welling impulse to unleash their mana.

町で生活する上で、環境に影響を与えぬようにと抑制していた魔素が放出され、周囲の魔素濃度が一段上昇する。
Due to living in the town, their magic essence which were suppressed in consideration of their environment was unleashed, and the surrounding concentration of magic essence went up a level.
もはや、恐れるモノは何も無い。
No longer, do they have anything to fear.
彼等は、その内なる衝動のままに戦場を駆ける。
What they have now, is the urge to enter the battlefield.
ゴブタは副官に目配せし、近くに呼び寄せた。
Gobuta winked to his vice captain, and beckoned him over.
この戦場に於いては、集団行動は却って的になる危険を孕む。
In this battle, moving as a group would instead breed danger.
観察し、（勝手に智慧之王と）相談した結果、戦車の主砲は目視による照準を行う余裕は無いだろうとの結論に達している。
After observation, and (without permission) discussing with Wisdom King Raphael, it was concluded that the battle tank’s main cannon is aimed visually.
つまりは、集団を一個の魔物と見立て、その動きを予想し狙いを付けているという事だ。
Thus, if the enemy treated the group as a single monster, their actions would be easily predicted and them aimed at.
熟練の一糸乱れぬ動きが仇となった訳である。
skilled, synchronized movements would instead be dangerous.
「これより、班毎に自由に攻撃を許可するっす。
星狼鬼衆はリーダーとなり、緑色軍団を率いるっす。
思念は常にリンクさせ、各個自由行動を取りつつも、連携は忘れないように」

“Understood. What will you do then General Gobuta?”
「自分は遊んでいる場合では無くなったっすよ。

“I have no time to spare horsing around.
Our lord is watching us.
I can’t make an unsightly example out of myself, it’s time to get serious.”
その目を見て、副官はゴブタの本気を悟る。
Looking at his eyes, the vice captain has realized Gobuta’s seriousness
滅多に見れぬ、上司の本気を。
A sight rarely seen, the boss being serious.
御武運を！ とだけ言い、即座に軍団に対する号令を放った。
May the tides of battle be in your favor! After he replied, the vice captain had issued the command to the whole army.

「巻き込まれるな！ ゴブタ将軍は本気だぞ！！」
“Don’t get caught up in the collateral damage! General Gobuta is getting serious!!”
そう伝える事を忘れない。

オーガウルフ
同期である星狼鬼衆は元より、ゴブタ配下の者ならば、ゴブタの天才性を熟知していた。
Amongst the Ogre wolves, many became subordinates the same time as Gobuta, and they all know very well about Gobuta’s Genius Characteristics.
指導能力が異常に高く、ゴブタの教えの下に皆熟練する速度が尋常では無いのである。
With abnormally high leadership ability, and skills are mastered abnormally quick under his tutelage.
況や、ゴブタの個体戦闘能力に関しては天才の一言で片付けられるものではなかった。
Not to mention, his personal combat capability can not be summed by a single sentence.
ゴブタの指揮能力は全く駄目だが、そんな事は問題とならぬ程に直感に優れている。
While his commanding abilities are completely hopeless, his superior intuition nulls this.
また、隠れて何者かの入れ知恵でも受けているのかと思う程、機を見た判断を下す事もあった。
In fact, there might even be hits of insights from someone else, and making prompt decisions.

そのゴブタが、全軍一致での行動が不味いと判断したのなら、分散するのが正解なのだろう。
That gobuta, had determined that the entire army acting in unison was a bad move, and breaking up was the right answer.
そして、ゴブタの得たユニークスキル『魔狼召喚』に
よる”魔狼合一”は、星狼鬼衆が集団で掛かっても相手にならぬ程に、強い。
And due to the fact Gobuta had obtained the unique skills “Demon wolf summon” and “Demon wolf Union”, not even the combinded might of the Ogre Wolves could overcome him. He’s strong.
その事を良く知るだけに、その行動は迅速だった。
As they knew this well, they took swift action.
ゴブタは、そのまま一人だけで敵陣に向かって突き進む。
Just like that, Gobuta rushed towards the enemy lines by his lonesome.
戦車の砲身が此方に向くのを目視し、
He sighted the artilleries of the tank aiming this way,
「さて、暴れるっすよ！ 魔狼合一！！」
“Now then, lets rumble! Demon Wolf Union!!”
瞬間、ゴブタを黒い霧が包み込む。
In an instant, black mist surrounded Gobuta.
（待っていたぞ、ゴブタよ。リムル様に、我等の力を見せようぞ！）
(I’ve been waiting, Gobuta. Oh Rimuru sama, bear witness to our power!)
ランガの意識の語りかけに応じ、
Ranga spoke with his conscious,
「良い所を見せるっす。行くっすよ！」
“Let’s show him something nice. Let’s go!”
内なる魔力を開放した。
Their inner magic power was released.
黒い霧がゴブタに吸い込まれるように掻き消えて、黒き狼を纏った、一人のゴブリンの戦士が顕現する。
The black mist suddenly disappeared as if sucked into Gobuta, clad in the black wolf, a single Goblin warrior appeared.
禍々しい二本の角の生えた、人型の黒狼。
With two ominous horns protruding, a humanoid black wolf.
硬質化した黒き毛皮は、飛んできた戦車砲弾すら弾き飛ばす。
Its black pelt hardened, sending even tank shells bouncing off.
ゴブタが一声吼えると、”黒き稲妻”が戦車部隊の上空から降り注ぎ、戦車に施された防御結界と干渉しあい眩く光を発する。
When Gobuta howled, “Black Lightning” descended from the skies and onto the tank troops, creating a dazzling gleam as it clashed with the defense barrier enchanted onto the tank.
その様を観察し、雷撃による感電効果に対する効果もある事を悟るゴブタ。
Observing the situation, it does indeed have an effect on lightning strikes.
しかし、その耐電撃能力は万全では無いらしく、精密な機械部分に重大な損耗を与えているようだ。
except, their lightning resistance isn’t omni-potent, and would deal severe damages to the delicate machine parts.
ゴブタは嗤う。
Gobuta laughed.

Gleefully, Gobuta bounded onto the battlefields.
その速度は音速を超え、最早、帝国の戦車部隊では肉眼で捕捉不可能であった。
Moving around at the speed of sound, before long, the empire’s tank troops could no longer see him with the naked eye.
鳴り響く雷鳴に、行動不全に陥る戦車部隊。
In the face of the resounding thunder, the action of the tanks fell into disarray.
そして、

「さ～て、どこまで付いてこれるっすか？ 疾風魔狼演舞！！」
“Now~then, can you catch up with me? Dance with the Gale Wolves!!”
戦場を黒き疾風が駆け巡り、超音速衝撃波による破壊が帝国戦車部隊を襲う。
A black gale darts through the battlefield as it strikes and destroys the empire’s tank troops with sonic booms.
やがて、その衝撃波は竜巻へと成長し、”破滅の嵐”を上回る”破滅の竜巻嵐”が発生するのだ。
Eventually, the shock waves became a tornado, and the “Gale of Destruction” became the “Tornado of Destruction”.
TN Note: I know 嵐 is storm, but storm sounds stronger than tornado imo…
計算され尽した動きにより、効果的に敵軍を殲滅する。
With calculated movement, the effectiveness of the attack to the opposing army is increased.
恐るべきゴブタの対軍殲滅技、それが疾風魔狼演舞なのであった。
The formidable Gobuta’s annihilation of the enemy troops, that is the Dance with the Gale Wolf.
戦場の一角は、こうして崩壊したのだ。
A corner of the battlefield has begun to collapse.
地上でゴブタが無双を開始した頃、上空でも変化が生じていた。
As Gobuta begun his Peerless act on the ground, changes were also occurring in the skies.
ガビル率いる第三軍団である。
Gabil has led the third corps.
ガビルは、リムルの”声”を聞いた直後、
When Gabil has heard Rimuru’s voice,
「聞けい！ 我輩達は、これより修羅道へ入る！！」
“Hear me! We, shall tread the path of Asura!!”
と宣言した。
He declared.
一斉に表情を引き締める魔物達。
The monster’s expressions all tightened instantly.
ガビルの言葉は続く。
Gabil continued
「青色兵団よ、貴様等は未熟だ。
故に、地上戦を援護せよ！
無理せず、訓練通りに行うがよい」
“Blue Corps, your training is still lacking.
That’s why, go support the ground troops!
Don’t do anything reckless, just proceed as we’ve always trained”
「しかし、あの飛行する者共――飛空船――はまだ数が……」
“But, those flying things――Airships――Their numbers……”
「問題ないのである！ 貴様等は心配せず、存分に力を発揮せよ！」
“That’s no problem! You have nothing to worry about, and there’s no need to hold back!”
空戦の訓練をしていなかったのが悔やまれるが、今それを言っても仕方がない。
It’s a shame there wasn’t any aerial combat training conducted, no pointing mulling over this now.
全てはこの戦争が終わってからの話である。

青色兵団はガビルの命令に従い、空戦域を離脱して行った。
The Blue corps heeded Gabil’s orders, and left the air space.
そのままガビルの指揮を離れて行動し、各個独自に地上部隊の援護に入る。
Despite away from Gabil’s command, they each individually supported the group troops.
空からの援護を受け、地上部隊の勢いも加速する事になるだろう。
Due to recieving support from the skies, the land troops also increased in momentum.
ガビルはそれを見届けると、前方の帝国軍空戦飛行兵団を睨みつける。
After Gabil was assured, he stared at the Empire aerial troops in front of him.
「飛竜衆よ、大空の覇者は誰だ？」
“Hiryu squad, Who rules the great skies?”
『我等、テンペスト飛竜衆であります！！』
“We, the Tempest Hiryu squad!!”
「その通りだ。我等の空を汚す者共は、始末せねばならぬ。
リムル様のご命令だ。
全員、全力を尽くせ！
自我を飲まれるなよ？ 総員、『竜戦士化』せよ！！」
“That is so. Those who tarnish our skies, must be given punishment.

Everyone, attack without restraint!

ガビルの命令に、飛竜衆が応じた。
The Hiryu squad, had responded to Gabil’s command.
『竜戦士化』という、彼等の切り札。
named “Dragon-warriorization”, this is their trumpt card.
圧倒的なまでに戦闘力が上昇するが、その分凶暴性が増す。
Their fighting strength increased drastically, but so too does their ferocity.
破壊衝動を抑え込む事が出来ないが為に、今まで封印されて来た能力であった。
In order to inhibit their destructive impulse, it has been sealed until now.
しかし、リムルの命令は全力を出せ、というものである。
However, Rimuru’s orders were to go all out, so that’s that.
躊躇う理由は何も無いのだ。
There is no room for hesitation.

“Dragon mode!!”

Simultaneously, the hiryu squad unleashed their original strength.

赤黒い筋肉が一気に膨張し、その表面を漆黒の竜鱗が被い尽くす。
Scarlet black muscles quickly expanded, their surface covered by jet black scales.
身長が1.5倍程に巨大化し、その体積と質量も大きく増加した。
Their sizes grew 1.5 times, their volume and mass significantly increased.
攻撃力、防御力。
Attack, and defense.
言うまでも無いが、変身前と比較にならない。
Needless to say, it was incomparable to their pre-transformation.
これで自我が無くなっていれば、単なる力の化身でしか無いのだが……
If they lost their sense of self, then this would be a simple transformation of brute strength……
彼等は見事に自我を保つ事に成功する。
but they had beautifully kept their ego.

The Empire Tiger’s son aerial squad, are not naught by pitiful
lambs.
何故ならば、『竜戦士化』状態になると特殊効果により魔法が通用しなくなるからだ。
That is because, “Dragon-warriorization” mode’s special effect nullifies any magic.
自然効果である”神之怒”すらも通用しなくなる。
Even the natural effects of “god’s wrath Meggido” is nullified.
全ての魔法攻撃及び自然効果を無効化する障壁が自然発生し、その身を守護しているからだ。
A barrier that nullifies any and every natural phenomenon and magic protects their body
魔素量で言えばＡランク以上[EP:40,000～60,000]相当にまで強化され、その力は上位魔人を上回る。

ましてや、元より強力な個体であったガビルならば……
Needless to say, if it’s that Gabil who was already a strong individual to begin with……

airflow-like whorls spiraled, the moistures in the atmosphere gathered at one point, and a whirlpool of magic had devoured a ship whole.
100名を超える魔法使いの魔力で編まれた魔力結界が、何の抵抗も出来ずに砕かれる。
Even the magic barrier of 100 mages was crushed without resistance.
正しく、轟沈であった。
Correction, it was instantly sunk.
ガビルは調子に乗り、
Gabil spoke soulfully.
「フハハハハ！ さあ、どんどんいくのである。
一隻も沈める事が出来なかった者は、後で判っているであろうな？」
“Fuhahaha! There’s more where that came from.
For those who couldn’t sink a single ship, brace yourselves got it?”
その言葉に引き攣る飛竜衆達。
Upon hearing this the hiryu squad stiffened.
既に、残存艦は100隻を切っている。何名かは獲物が居ない状態なのだ。
That’s because, there’re less than 100 ships left afloat. There will inevitably be some who can’t meet the status quo.
その事に気付くと同時に、飛竜衆達は一斉に各々が狙った飛空船に向けて襲い掛かって行ったのだった。
Noticing this at the same time, the hiryu squad made a mad scramble towards the ships, each looking for a target to strike.
ファラガ少将は、目の前の光景に愕然となる。
Major general Faraga was left dumbstruck by the view before him.
魔力結界で常に守られている上、障壁盾を前面に展開させている空の要塞。
The magic barrier has activated as usual, acting as the shield of the floating fortress.
その飛空船の一隻が、魔物の一撃で沈められたのだ。
One of such airships, was felled by a monster’s single strike.
龍人族という珍しい種族のようだが、人型の竜とも呼べる戦闘力を有しているらしい。
The dragonewts were a rare race, with a fighting strength that give them their nickname the humanoid dragon.
たった100匹程が上空に残った時、嫌な予感がしたのだが……
When only 100 of them were left, he had a bad premonition……
突然、その力が大きく増加したと観測班から報告を受けたのだ。
suddenly, he received a report from the observation squad that their strength suddenly swelled.
飛竜を操る者達が撤退したのを見て不安を感じた直後、異常が始まったのである。
The bad feeling he had when the wyvern riders retreated, anomalies began to show.
正しく、変身とでも呼ぶべき現象であった。

残った竜人共は、飛竜をも凌ぐ戦闘力を示し、飛空船へと襲い掛かかって来る。

魔素撹乱放射により、魔物はその行動力を鈍らせる。
Using magic canceller would dull a monster’s movement.
その法則を利用し、弱体化させようとするのだが、対象の動きが素早すぎてなかなか捉える事が出来ないでいた。
Using this principle, he tried weakening the opponent, but they were moving too fast for him to see.
だが、最初の一撃を放った指揮官と思しき個体には、弱体化の効果も意味が無いように感じられた。
However, the commanded felt that the initial strike had no weakening effect on them whatsoever.
次元が違う強さなのだ、と理解する。
and he understood, their strength is on a completely different dimension.
全ての魔素撹乱放射発生装置の波長を集中させなければ、あの個体の動きを止める事は難しいだろう。
Trying to pinpoint all the magic canceller devices on a single individual is impossible.

自分の考えに思わず納得するファラガ。
Faraga senselessly confirmed his own thoughs.
なるほど、封印が解けてから弱体化したと噂だが、あの様に姿形まで変形する程弱っていたとは……。
I see, rumors say his strength was weakened after being freed, so his deformed shape was due to being weakened……
いや、その上で尚、あれ程の強さを誇るのだから、封印前は如何ほどに強かったのか想像も出来ない。
No, that’s not even its final form, but based on that ridiculous power, it’s impossible to imagine what would he be like prior to being sealed.
だが、今のヤツなら逆に仕留めるのも容易だろう。
But if it’s now he would be easy to kill.
ファラガ少将がそう悟り、集中攻撃命令を下そうとした時、

紫紺の長い髪をポニーテールにした美少女が、いつの間にか隣の副官席に座っていた。
A bishoujo with her bluish purple hair tied to a ponytail, had sat down at the lieutenant’s seat who knows when.
その身は軍服に包まれて、年に似合わぬ格好となっている。
Donning a full military suit, she had an appearance unbefitting of her age.

「貴様、何者だ？」
“Who the hell are you?”
ファラガ少将の誰何に、部下達が振り返り少女に気付く。
No one other than Faraga Major General noticed, and his subordinates only realized after looking back.
艦内に異常は検知出来ない。
No anomalies were detected within the ship.
それなのに、その少女は当たり前の様にそこに居るのだ。
And yet, the girl just sat there like it’s completely natural.
「何者か、だって？ ボクの名前はウルティマ。
今日はね、色々と聞きに来たの。
君達、もう直ぐ死んでしまうでしょ？
だから、その前に色々と教えてよ！」
“Who am I, you asked? My name is Ultima.
I came here to ask about various things.
You guys are gonna die soon right?
That’s why, I came here to enquire before that happens!”
無邪気な笑顔で、そんな事を言う少女。
With an innocent smile, the shoujo said.
だが、ファラガ少将は、その少女に何とも表現しずらい感覚を覚えていた。
However, Faraga Major general felt an indescribable feeling of hesitance towards the shoujo.
例えるならば、そう、絶対的な強さの皇帝近衛の上位者に相対した時のような……
For example, the overwhelming type of feeling he has towards the strong like the royal guards of the king……
いや、下手をすればそれ以上の。
No, if he doesn’t take caution he would be in danger.
（まさか……この俺が、恐怖を感じているのか？ こんな少女に！？）

しかし、現にこの少女は、たった一人で艦内に侵入してのけた異常な存在なのだ。
However, the girl before him, is an abnormal existence that infiltrated the vessel alone.
ファラガ少将は軍刀を抜き、少女に対し身構える。
Faraga took out his army sword, and took a stance against the shoujo.
ファラガも、剣の腕にはかなりの自信を持っていた。
Faraga has great confidence in his swordsmenship.
今だ現役で、Ａランクの冒険者にも負けないという自負もある。
In active service, his confidence would not wane even against a rank A adventurer.
ファラガの纏う空気の質が変わり、少女との間に目に見えぬ緊張の糸が張り巡らされた。
The air around Faraga changed, forming an unseen thread of tension between her and the young girl.

“What do you want to ask about?”
ファラガが問う。
Faraga asked.
少女――ウルティマ――は嬉しそうに頷くと、
The young girl――Ultima――Nodded gleefully,
「この船の仕組みと、運用方法。帝国内の戦力。
どのくらい強い者が居るのか、今いる軍団以外でも全て。
まあ、その他色々。
安心していいよ。喋らなくても、勝手に知識を奪うから」
“The structure of this ship, it’s operation method. The battle forces within the empire. How many strong individuals there are, and the ins and outs of this army.
Ah, and various other things.
Don’t worry. Even if you don’t talk, I can just rip the knowledge out of you.”
抜け抜けと言い放った。
She spoke non-chalantly.
「馬鹿め、ついてなかったな。お前の前に居るのが、その強者の一人だ！」
“Fool, I can’t follow you at all. Before you, is one such strong individual!”
ファラガ少将はウルティマが喋る隙を狙い、大上段に振り上げた刀を一気に振り下ろす。
Major General Faraga took the chance whilst Ultima was speaking, leapt forth as he raised his sword above his head and slashed down.
部下に対し剣術を指導する程の腕前である、達人クラスの斬撃。
A swords skill he often taught his subordinate, a sword slash at the level of a master.
魔人すらも避ける事が出来ずに両断される、必殺の一撃であった。
A strike that not even a Majin could escape, a
sure-kill strike that would spilt one in half.
「じゃあ、先ずは君から聞こう」
“Then, lets start with you”
「っえ？」
“Eh?”
背後で、声が聞こえた。
He heard a voice from his back.
ファラガ少将の必殺の一撃は、椅子に座っていた筈のウルティマを斬るどころか、触れる事すら出来ず空を切る。
Major General Faraga’s sure-kill move, let alone killing Ultima who was suppose to be sitting on the seat, couldn’t even touch her as it sliced air.
そして、有り得ない事に、目の前に座っていた筈なのに、気がつくと背後に移動していたのだ。
And, the impossible happened, she should be seated before him, yet when he noticed she was now behind her.
「何だと！？」
“What was that?!”
慌てて振り向いたファラガの横を、何か丸い塊が飛んで行った。
Next to Faraga who turned around in a hurry, a round lump of something flew right next to him.
ベチャ！ と、壁に叩きつけられて染みを作っている。
Blecha*! And it smashed into the wall turning into a stain.
首から上が無くなった魔法使いの一人が、思い出したように痙攣しつつ床に崩れ落ちた。
The mage whose head was liberated collapsed onto the floor, convulsing as if he still had thought.
「大した事知らないんだね。どんどんいくよ～」
“Nothing important here. More where that came from~”

恐怖にパニックに陥っていた魔術師達が、ファラガの言葉で正気を取り戻す。
The mages who feel into panic regained their composure after hearing Faraga’s words.
慌てて、全員が携行型の魔素撹乱放射でウルティマを照射した。
Frantically, they all pointed their magic canceller towards Ultima.

「へえ、これが魔素撹乱放射ってヤツ？
新兵器なんでしょ？ 何でも魔物に絶大な効果が有るとか言う。
でも、これって意味あるの？」
“Heh, so this is the magic canceller?
Some kind of new weapon? It might be lethal towards monsters.
However, what’s the point in doing this?”
可愛らしく首を傾け、ウルティマが疑問を呟いた。
tilting her heat cutely, Ultima asked.
「はは、もうお仕舞いだぞ、貴様。ハッタリで切り抜けられると思うなよ！」
“Haha, you’re done for you bitch. Don’t get you can get away alive!”
ファラガは余裕を取り戻し、部下に合図を送った。
Faraga replied with confidence, and give his subordinate the signal.
一斉に拳銃を抜き、ウルティマへと向ける兵士達。
The soldier who’re looking at Ultima, all raised their muskets.
「悪魔用、滅殺弾を使用せよ！
ソイツは最悪の上位魔将クラスだ。油断するな！」
“Use the bullets for killing demons!
She’s the worse kind an arc demon. Don’t get carless!”
ファラガの命令に、敵が魔素撹乱放射によって動きを封じられている間に、弾丸の換装を行おうとする兵士達。
Heeding Faraga’s orders, while the enemy’s movements were obstructed with magic canceller, the soldiers begin loading the bullets.

「う～ん、良く判らないな。
これって、魔素を乱して存在を阻害するという理論だよね。
魔素で肉体を構成している者程、その効果が大きくなるんでしょ？
でもさ、ボクみたいに、受肉してたら意味ないんじゃない？
それに、下級な悪魔ならいざ知らず、上位存在にとっては意味が無いよ。
君達が呼吸を自然に行うように、ボク達が思うと自然と魔法が生じるんだから。

そう言うと同時、ウルティマの姿が掻き消えて、兵士の一人の首が飛んだ。
As soon as she’s finish talking, she suddenly disappeared, and one of the soldier’s heads were sent flying.
一瞬で移動し、兵士を一人殺して見せたのだ。
She moved in an instant, and ended a soldier’s life.
「ね？ 今のはただ移動して、一人の頭を飛ばしただけ。
君達の言い方で、音速を超えて移動したんだよ。
でも、衝撃波とか出ないでしょ？ だって、この移動は魔法だからだよ。
そして、ね」
“hm? A simple movement, and a person’s head was sent flying.
Using your words, I’m moving at supersonic speed.
But, there were no shockwaves, no? that’s because, this movement is based on magic.
And then this.”
手首を軽く振ると、その先が一瞬霞んだようにブレて見えた。

直後、ドン！ という衝撃音と共に、兵士の一人の頭が破裂する。

上位魔将？ 本当にそうなのか？

自分の実力から考えて、上位魔将には勝てないまでも、時間稼ぎ程度は可能だと考えている。

ウルティマが飛び立った直後、魔法は発動し、旗艦は火球に包まれる。
As soon as Ultima flew out, she activated her spell, and the whole ship was engulfed in a fireball.
核撃魔法の一種である、破滅の炎によって、痕跡も残す事なく徹底的に。
A type of nuclear strike magic, nuclear flame, leaving behind no trace.
その火球は大きく膨れ上がり、爆発を生じさせる。
The fireball quickly expanded, and created an explosion.
一次被害による超高熱の炎と、二次被害である爆発による衝撃波。
The first wave of damage was from ultra high temperature fire, and the second from the explosion’s shockwaves.
炎により爆発四散した旗艦は、その艦体を破裂弾へと化して、周囲の仲間の船を撃ち貫く。
The explosions send shrapnel flying all directions, puncturing through nearby ships.
音速を超えて飛散する船の破片は、それだけで甚大な被害を齎したのだ。

自分達の忠誠と信頼の全てを受け入れてくれる、絶対支配者の言葉を。
He who has accepted their trust and loyalty, their absolute ruler.
魔物達の心を歓喜が埋め尽くし、湧き上がる衝動に任せて、その魔力を解き放った。
The monster’s hearts were filled with joy, as they left it to their welling impulse to unleash their mana.

No longer, do they have anything to fear.

What they have now, is the urge to enter the battlefield.
ゴブタは副官に目配せし、近くに呼び寄せた。
Gobuta winked to his vice captain, and beckoned him over.
この戦場に於いては、集団行動は却って的になる危険を孕む。
In this battle, moving as a group would instead breed danger.
観察し、（勝手に智慧之王と）相談した結果、戦車の主砲は目視による照準を行う余裕は無いだろうとの結論に達している。
After observation, and (without permission) discussing with Wisdom King Raphael, it was concluded that the battle tank’s main cannon is aimed visually.
つまりは、集団を一個の魔物と見立て、その動きを予想し狙いを付けているという事だ。
Thus, if the enemy treated the group as a single monster, their actions would be easily predicted and them aimed at.
熟練の一糸乱れぬ動きが仇となった訳である。

Looking at his eyes, the vice captain has realized Gobuta’s seriousness

A sight rarely seen, the boss being serious.
御武運を！ とだけ言い、即座に軍団に対する号令を放った。
May the tides of battle be in your favor! After he replied, the vice captain had issued the command to the whole army.

オーガウルフ
同期である星狼鬼衆は元より、ゴブタ配下の者ならば、ゴブタの天才性を熟知していた。
Amongst the Ogre wolves, many became subordinates the same time as Gobuta, and they all know very well about Gobuta’s Genius Characteristics.
指導能力が異常に高く、ゴブタの教えの下に皆熟練する速度が尋常では無いのである。
With abnormally high leadership ability, and skills are mastered abnormally quick under his tutelage.
況や、ゴブタの個体戦闘能力に関しては天才の一言で片付けられるものではなかった。
Not to mention, his personal combat capability can not be summed by a single sentence.
ゴブタの指揮能力は全く駄目だが、そんな事は問題とならぬ程に直感に優れている。
While his commanding abilities are completely hopeless, his superior intuition nulls this.
また、隠れて何者かの入れ知恵でも受けているのかと思う程、機を見た判断を下す事もあった。

よる”魔狼合一”は、星狼鬼衆が集団で掛かっても相手にならぬ程に、強い。
And due to the fact Gobuta had obtained the unique skills “Demon wolf summon” and “Demon wolf Union”, not even the combinded might of the Ogre Wolves could overcome him. He’s strong.
その事を良く知るだけに、その行動は迅速だった。
As they knew this well, they took swift action.
ゴブタは、そのまま一人だけで敵陣に向かって突き進む。
Just like that, Gobuta rushed towards the enemy lines by his lonesome.
戦車の砲身が此方に向くのを目視し、
He sighted the artilleries of the tank aiming this way,

瞬間、ゴブタを黒い霧が包み込む。
In an instant, black mist surrounded Gobuta.

ランガの意識の語りかけに応じ、

Their inner magic power was released.
黒い霧がゴブタに吸い込まれるように掻き消えて、黒き狼を纏った、一人のゴブリンの戦士が顕現する。
The black mist suddenly disappeared as if sucked into Gobuta, clad in the black wolf, a single Goblin warrior appeared.
禍々しい二本の角の生えた、人型の黒狼。
With two ominous horns protruding, a humanoid black wolf.
硬質化した黒き毛皮は、飛んできた戦車砲弾すら弾き飛ばす。
Its black pelt hardened, sending even tank shells bouncing off.
ゴブタが一声吼えると、”黒き稲妻”が戦車部隊の上空から降り注ぎ、戦車に施された防御結界と干渉しあい眩く光を発する。
When Gobuta howled, “Black Lightning” descended from the skies and onto the tank troops, creating a dazzling gleam as it clashed with the defense barrier enchanted onto the tank.
その様を観察し、雷撃による感電効果に対する効果もある事を悟るゴブタ。
Observing the situation, it does indeed have an effect on lightning strikes.
しかし、その耐電撃能力は万全では無いらしく、精密な機械部分に重大な損耗を与えているようだ。
except, their lightning resistance isn’t omni-potent, and would deal severe damages to the delicate machine parts.
ゴブタは嗤う。

Moving around at the speed of sound, before long, the empire’s tank troops could no longer see him with the naked eye.
鳴り響く雷鳴に、行動不全に陥る戦車部隊。
In the face of the resounding thunder, the action of the tanks fell into disarray.
そして、

「さ～て、どこまで付いてこれるっすか？ 疾風魔狼演舞！！」
“Now~then, can you catch up with me? Dance with the Gale Wolves!!”
戦場を黒き疾風が駆け巡り、超音速衝撃波による破壊が帝国戦車部隊を襲う。
A black gale darts through the battlefield as it strikes and destroys the empire’s tank troops with sonic booms.
やがて、その衝撃波は竜巻へと成長し、”破滅の嵐”を上回る”破滅の竜巻嵐”が発生するのだ。
Eventually, the shock waves became a tornado, and the “Gale of Destruction” became the “Tornado of Destruction”.

計算され尽した動きにより、効果的に敵軍を殲滅する。
With calculated movement, the effectiveness of the attack to the opposing army is increased.

The formidable Gobuta’s annihilation of the enemy troops, that is the Dance with the Gale Wolf.
戦場の一角は、こうして崩壊したのだ。
A corner of the battlefield has begun to collapse.
地上でゴブタが無双を開始した頃、上空でも変化が生じていた。
As Gobuta begun his Peerless act on the ground, changes were also occurring in the skies.

ガビルは、リムルの”声”を聞いた直後、
When Gabil has heard Rimuru’s voice,
「聞けい！ 我輩達は、これより修羅道へ入る！！」
“Hear me! We, shall tread the path of Asura!!”
と宣言した。
He declared.
一斉に表情を引き締める魔物達。
The monster’s expressions all tightened instantly.
ガビルの言葉は続く。

「青色兵団よ、貴様等は未熟だ。
故に、地上戦を援護せよ！
無理せず、訓練通りに行うがよい」
“Blue Corps, your training is still lacking.
That’s why, go support the ground troops!
Don’t do anything reckless, just proceed as we’ve always trained”
「しかし、あの飛行する者共――飛空船――はまだ数が……」
“But, those flying things――Airships――Their numbers……”
「問題ないのである！ 貴様等は心配せず、存分に力を発揮せよ！」
“That’s no problem! You have nothing to worry about, and there’s no need to hold back!”
空戦の訓練をしていなかったのが悔やまれるが、今それを言っても仕方がない。
It’s a shame there wasn’t any aerial combat training conducted, no pointing mulling over this now.

圧倒的なまでに戦闘力が上昇するが、その分凶暴性が増す。
Their fighting strength increased drastically, but so too does their ferocity.
破壊衝動を抑え込む事が出来ないが為に、今まで封印されて来た能力であった。
In order to inhibit their destructive impulse, it has been sealed until now.
しかし、リムルの命令は全力を出せ、というものである。
However, Rimuru’s orders were to go all out, so that’s that.

100名を超える魔法使いの魔力で編まれた魔力結界が、何の抵抗も出来ずに砕かれる。

その事に気付くと同時に、飛竜衆達は一斉に各々が狙った飛空船に向けて襲い掛かって行ったのだった。

A bishoujo with her bluish purple hair tied to a ponytail, had sat down at the lieutenant’s seat who knows when.
その身は軍服に包まれて、年に似合わぬ格好となっている。
Donning a full military suit, she had an appearance unbefitting of her age.

ファラガ少将の誰何に、部下達が振り返り少女に気付く。
No one other than Faraga Major General noticed, and his subordinates only realized after looking back.
艦内に異常は検知出来ない。
No anomalies were detected within the ship.
それなのに、その少女は当たり前の様にそこに居るのだ。
And yet, the girl just sat there like it’s completely natural.
「何者か、だって？ ボクの名前はウルティマ。
今日はね、色々と聞きに来たの。
君達、もう直ぐ死んでしまうでしょ？
だから、その前に色々と教えてよ！」
“Who am I, you asked? My name is Ultima.
I came here to ask about various things.
You guys are gonna die soon right?
That’s why, I came here to enquire before that happens!”
無邪気な笑顔で、そんな事を言う少女。
With an innocent smile, the shoujo said.
だが、ファラガ少将は、その少女に何とも表現しずらい感覚を覚えていた。
However, Faraga Major general felt an indescribable feeling of hesitance towards the shoujo.
例えるならば、そう、絶対的な強さの皇帝近衛の上位者に相対した時のような……
For example, the overwhelming type of feeling he has towards the strong like the royal guards of the king……
いや、下手をすればそれ以上の。
No, if he doesn’t take caution he would be in danger.
（まさか……この俺が、恐怖を感じているのか？ こんな少女に！？）

しかし、現にこの少女は、たった一人で艦内に侵入してのけた異常な存在なのだ。

ファラガの纏う空気の質が変わり、少女との間に目に見えぬ緊張の糸が張り巡らされた。

ファラガが問う。
Faraga asked.
少女――ウルティマ――は嬉しそうに頷くと、
The young girl――Ultima――Nodded gleefully,
「この船の仕組みと、運用方法。帝国内の戦力。
どのくらい強い者が居るのか、今いる軍団以外でも全て。
まあ、その他色々。
安心していいよ。喋らなくても、勝手に知識を奪うから」
“The structure of this ship, it’s operation method. The battle forces within the empire. How many strong individuals there are, and the ins and outs of this army.
Ah, and various other things.
Don’t worry. Even if you don’t talk, I can just rip the knowledge out of you.”
抜け抜けと言い放った。
She spoke non-chalantly.
「馬鹿め、ついてなかったな。お前の前に居るのが、その強者の一人だ！」
“Fool, I can’t follow you at all. Before you, is one such strong individual!”
ファラガ少将はウルティマが喋る隙を狙い、大上段に振り上げた刀を一気に振り下ろす。
Major General Faraga took the chance whilst Ultima was speaking, leapt forth as he raised his sword above his head and slashed down.
部下に対し剣術を指導する程の腕前である、達人クラスの斬撃。
A swords skill he often taught his subordinate, a sword slash at the level of a master.
魔人すらも避ける事が出来ずに両断される、必殺の一撃であった。
A strike that not even a Majin could escape, a
sure-kill strike that would spilt one in half.
「じゃあ、先ずは君から聞こう」

背後で、声が聞こえた。
He heard a voice from his back.
ファラガ少将の必殺の一撃は、椅子に座っていた筈のウルティマを斬るどころか、触れる事すら出来ず空を切る。
Major General Faraga’s sure-kill move, let alone killing Ultima who was suppose to be sitting on the seat, couldn’t even touch her as it sliced air.
そして、有り得ない事に、目の前に座っていた筈なのに、気がつくと背後に移動していたのだ。
And, the impossible happened, she should be seated before him, yet when he noticed she was now behind her.
「何だと！？」
“What was that?!”
慌てて振り向いたファラガの横を、何か丸い塊が飛んで行った。
Next to Faraga who turned around in a hurry, a round lump of something flew right next to him.
ベチャ！ と、壁に叩きつけられて染みを作っている。
Blecha*! And it smashed into the wall turning into a stain.
首から上が無くなった魔法使いの一人が、思い出したように痙攣しつつ床に崩れ落ちた。
The mage whose head was liberated collapsed onto the floor, convulsing as if he still had thought.
「大した事知らないんだね。どんどんいくよ～」
“Nothing important here. More where that came from~”
そう言って、無造作に頭をもぎ取り、数秒弄ると捨てるという行為を繰り返すウルティマ。
and so, she casually pulled off another head, and repeating this act of littering after several seconds.
艦橋は、絶叫と恐怖に彩られる地獄に変貌していた。
The bridge was dyed in the screams of disappear as it turned into hell.
「そ、総員、魔素撹乱放射を使用せよ！！
目の前の悪魔に照準を集中させるのだ！！」
“E, Everyone, use the magic canceller!!
The Target is the Demon in front of you!!”
恐怖にパニックに陥っていた魔術師達が、ファラガの言葉で正気を取り戻す。
The mages who feel into panic regained their composure after hearing Faraga’s words.
慌てて、全員が携行型の魔素撹乱放射でウルティマを照射した。
Frantically, they all pointed their magic canceller towards Ultima.

「へえ、これが魔素撹乱放射ってヤツ？
新兵器なんでしょ？ 何でも魔物に絶大な効果が有るとか言う。
でも、これって意味あるの？」
“Heh, so this is the magic canceller?
Some kind of new weapon? It might be lethal towards monsters.
However, what’s the point in doing this?”
可愛らしく首を傾け、ウルティマが疑問を呟いた。
tilting her heat cutely, Ultima asked.
「はは、もうお仕舞いだぞ、貴様。ハッタリで切り抜けられると思うなよ！」
“Haha, you’re done for you bitch. Don’t get you can get away alive!”
ファラガは余裕を取り戻し、部下に合図を送った。
Faraga replied with confidence, and give his subordinate the signal.
一斉に拳銃を抜き、ウルティマへと向ける兵士達。
The soldier who’re looking at Ultima, all raised their muskets.
「悪魔用、滅殺弾を使用せよ！
ソイツは最悪の上位魔将クラスだ。油断するな！」
“Use the bullets for killing demons!
She’s the worse kind an arc demon. Don’t get carless!”
ファラガの命令に、敵が魔素撹乱放射によって動きを封じられている間に、弾丸の換装を行おうとする兵士達。
Heeding Faraga’s orders, while the enemy’s movements were obstructed with magic canceller, the soldiers begin loading the bullets.
だが、
But,
「う～ん、良く判らないな。
これって、魔素を乱して存在を阻害するという理論だよね。
魔素で肉体を構成している者程、その効果が大きくなるんでしょ？
でもさ、ボクみたいに、受肉してたら意味ないんじゃない？
それに、下級な悪魔ならいざ知らず、上位存在にとっては意味が無いよ。
君達が呼吸を自然に行うように、ボク達が思うと自然と魔法が生じるんだから。
こんな風に」
“Hmm~, I still don’t get it.
This thing, it’s based on the magic interference theory right?
This would have an effect if the magic essence is in the physical body right?
However, there’s no point if it’s someone like me who’s simply possessing a flesh right?
In fact, let alone would it effect a lesser demon, it’s not gonna work at all on us higher existences.

そう言うと同時、ウルティマの姿が掻き消えて、兵士の一人の首が飛んだ。
As soon as she’s finish talking, she suddenly disappeared, and one of the soldier’s heads were sent flying.
一瞬で移動し、兵士を一人殺して見せたのだ。
She moved in an instant, and ended a soldier’s life.
「ね？ 今のはただ移動して、一人の頭を飛ばしただけ。
君達の言い方で、音速を超えて移動したんだよ。
でも、衝撃波とか出ないでしょ？ だって、この移動は魔法だからだよ。
そして、ね」
“hm? A simple movement, and a person’s head was sent flying.
Using your words, I’m moving at supersonic speed.
But, there were no shockwaves, no? that’s because, this movement is based on magic.
And then this.”
手首を軽く振ると、その先が一瞬霞んだようにブレて見えた。
With a flick of her wrist, she created an afterimage.
直後、ドン！ という衝撃音と共に、兵士の一人の頭が破裂する。
Immediately after, DON! Along with the sound of impact, a soldier’s head ruptured.
「こうやって、物理法則に従って、衝撃波を出す事も出来るんだよ」
“If I do this, in accordance of the laws of physics, I can create shockwaves”
ファラガの頭に、説明するウルティマの言葉がようやく理解出来た。
From Ultima’s explaination, Faraga finally understands.
どこか遠くで異国の言葉を話しているかのような、そんな不思議な感覚がする。
From the tales of a foreign country, filled with an exotic feeling.
本能が、理解を拒絶しているのだ。
He understood it instinctively yet he rejected it consciously.
アークデーモン
上位魔将？ 本当にそうなのか？
Arc Demon? Is this what they’re really like?
自分の実力から考えて、上位魔将には勝てないまでも、時間稼ぎ程度は可能だと考えている。
Considering his own strength, even if he can’t beat an arc demon he could still stall for time.
自分と同格の者が複数名居るならば、決して勝てない相手では無いという事だ。
If there were several of those his own caliber, it isn’t an impossible foe.

but……
目の前の少女には、どう足掻いても勝てる見込みが無かった。

その、朗らかとも言える少女の声が、恐怖に陥った者達が聞いた最後の言葉となる。

知識を全て奪い取ったウルティマは、満足そうに艦橋を後にする。
Ultima who has obtained all the available information, has happily left the ship.
彼女は情報武官であり、情報を持ち帰るのが任務なのだ。
As the military intelligence officer, her duty is to take said intelligence home.
満足すべき成果を上げていると自分では思っているが、それを判断するのは彼女達の主であり、ウルティマでは無い。
Are the results satisfying was not determined by her, but by her superior.
そして、旗艦から飛び出そうとして、
Then, as she was departing the ship,
「あ、そうそう。全力を出していいんだったね」
“Oh, right right. We’re permitted to use our full strength”
思い出したように呟いて、一つの魔法を発動させた。
she muttered as she remembered, and invoked a spell.
ウルティマが飛び立った直後、魔法は発動し、旗艦は火球に包まれる。
As soon as Ultima flew out, she activated her spell, and the whole ship was engulfed in a fireball.
核撃魔法の一種である、破滅の炎によって、痕跡も残す事なく徹底的に。
A type of nuclear strike magic, nuclear flame, leaving behind no trace.
その火球は大きく膨れ上がり、爆発を生じさせる。
The fireball quickly expanded, and created an explosion.
一次被害による超高熱の炎と、二次被害である爆発による衝撃波。
The first wave of damage was from ultra high temperature fire, and the second from the explosion’s shockwaves.
炎により爆発四散した旗艦は、その艦体を破裂弾へと化して、周囲の仲間の船を撃ち貫く。
The explosions send shrapnel flying all directions, puncturing through nearby ships.
音速を超えて飛散する船の破片は、それだけで甚大な被害を齎したのだ。
the shrapnel flew at supersonic speed, increasing the damage inflicted.
空中にて大惨事が発生したのだが、飛竜衆達への被害は計算されたようにゼロである。
A great catastrophe happened midair, and none of the hiryu squad was harmed as if planned.
いや、ノルマを達成出来ずに、後に間接的な被害を受けた者が出るのだが……
Nope, since some didn’t reach the quota, indirectly harmed victims appeared afterwards……

元より戦いを有利に進める事が出来なくなっていた帝国空軍は、全機轟沈という不名誉な記録により敗北する事になったのである。
The empire’s air force who originally entered battle with an advantage had left behind the disgraceful record of complete annihilation.
