Vincent knocked on Sophie's door, waiting for a response before he push the door open. Being a brother to a sister taught him a crucial lesson - never go inside a lady room uninvited. Being a gentleman doting brother he is, Vincent went inside Sophie's room as soon he heard her invited him in.
"Are you done?" He asked as he push the door open. Behind the door awestruck him. Sophie dressed up gorgeously and he felt proud having her as his sister. After a few praises, a few selfies and pictures, Vincent and Sophie headed to EDEM gala together.
After an eventful night gala, Vincent insisted Sophie to return to their parent house together but she declined it strongly. Sophie insisted to go back to her house. Defeated by her pleading eyes, Vincent walked her to her car, kiss her goodbye on her cheek and Sophie's black Toyota Century drove off.
Watching the car off, VIncent make a call to his chaperone and waited for his ride. When he saw his car arrived, Vincent went inside after bidding John goodbye and left the premise. Inside the car, he took out his phone to make a call. He pressed a string of number he knew by heart and waited in split second for his call to be connected.
"What is your order, my lord?"
"Blacklist the Blakes."
"Again my lord? We just relieved them from our previous blacklisting."
"Yes, but this time make sure they know that someone is suppressing them."
"As you wish, my lord."
Vincent drew silent afterward though the call is still connected. The anger he felt when he saw his younger sister red left cheek. The recipient remained quiet, waiting for next order from Vincent.
"Find me everything on Michael House."
"In out report, my lord?"
"Yes."
"Understood, my lord."
Vincent felt indebted to Michael for saving his sister. So he wanted to do something to replay the kindness he shown to the Shane. Vincent is a person that treat one kindness with three kindness and one malice with hundred of them back. He isn't a fool - to treat bad with kind.
He gave another set of instruction before ended the call. Witnessing how David treated Sophie today made him convinced on his decision to break their engagement. However he need to treat his carefully due to signed prenuptial agreement signed by both family.
He don't want to lose or give anything else to that bastard. He should be paying back everything down to single dime. Vincent wonder if he should discuss this with Sophie or not.
For now, let the Blakes feel the pressure first.
