Braedon was breathing heavily from his attacks. Even though he used up almost all of his strength, his adversary had little to no serious injuries.

He looked around at the others and saw that both Yi Ling and Yi Bai were still preoccupied with their own fights, "Can I really hold out until they save me or do I have to use that?" Braedon quietly thought this to himself as he got back into a battle stance.

The assassin noticed Braedon's eyes move aside for a second and screamed out, "Are you being distracted in a battle with me!" He ran up toward Braedon with his knife. Braedon takes the piece of wood in his hand and placed it out in front of him.

The knife sliced through the wood but it was stopped by the hilt. Braedon twisted the piece of wood around and kicked the assassin in his side. The pain of having his side kicked and the twisting of the knife in his hand caused him to release his grip on it.

Braedon quickly flung the knife aside and ran in jamming his elbow into the person's gut. The assassin coughed out some blood. He looked down, raised his fist up, and smashed his fist down and struck Braedon against his back.

Braedon felt as if his spine was about to be snapped in half and he quickly tried to move away, but before he could, the assassin appeared next to his face. "There is no escaping." Another fist flew up to Braedon's face and smashed his nose in, making him fly back a short distance.

As Braedon landed, he quickly steadied himself and prepared himself for the follow up attack. It came quickly with a swift kick striking Braedon on his chin. Braedon felt his legs collapse and he crashed into the ground.

He tried to stand back up but his legs wouldn't listen to his instructions.

He shakily pressed his back against the wall behind him as he pushed himself back up. He looked at the assassin walking slowly toward him.

The man smiled with a murderous glint in his eyes. He reclaimed his knife and prepared to stab it down into Braedon.

"Any last words?" The man confidently smiled at Braedon. Braedon sighed to himself, "I guess I have no choice." As the man slowly got closer to him, Braedon raised his leg up and stomped it into the ground. Dust puffed up and flew around in the surrounding air.

The assassin stepped back and checked his surrounding. Despite being the weakest of the three, he had an incredible sense for danger and was useful for finding traps or curses. As such he highly trusted his instinct, even now when they were telling him that something dangerous was about to happen.

As the dust settled, he saw a bright light in the middle of the smoke. From that light stood the boy who was fighting him. He didn't look any different except for two things. For some reason his feet had bird claws made of flames projecting from them and his head projected another thing made of flames.

It was wrapped tightly around his forehead with a shiny, black gem in the middle. The flames reached out and singed his hair, while at the same time never burning it. Three peaks stood at the front, two smaller ones to the side and one tall one in the front.

It was a crown, a majestic crown that shined with a holy light and radiated power.

Braedon only stood there with the flames surrounding him and spreading over his body. He slowly opened his bright, gold eyes. He looked toward the assassin with eyes that instinctively made him want to get on one knee and bow.

Braedon brought up one of his legs with the claws projecting from it. "It is time for me to end this." Braedon spoked with a calm and neutral voice, as if he was simply stating a random fact.

The man's muscles tensed up and he wanted to run but he couldn't move.

"I really didn't want to do this, after all I can only do this so many times." Braedon pointed his leg toward his opponent, "Are you willing to take my Claw Of Dispersal?"

The man knew that he had no real choice in the matter and just started circulating his energy in his body, "Bring it!"

From the name "Claw Of Dispersal" , the assassin figured that it was a leg technique. He took in a deep breath and kept his eyes on Braedon's legs.

Braedon nodded in appreciation, "Then I'll finish it!" Braedon quickly stepped onto the ground and launched himself in his adversary's direction. The man watched Braedon's movements and made sure his eyes stayed on the leg. But something unexpected happened.

As Braedon got closer and closer, he noticed that Braedon's leg basically didn't move at all. He understood something was wrong too little too late. Braedon's head crashed into his stomach with and incredible force. The flame lit up their bodies and they started to fly backwards in a fiery ball.

The man saw one of his accomplices slowly approaching and then ~BAM~ they crashed into him. They kept on flying passed those two people and the old man fighting against the strongest person in their group.

Eventually they crashed into a wall and the assassin felt his organs being crushed upon impact. As his consciousness slowly faded away he only had a single thought, "That was a headbutt not a claw strike!"

Braedon stood up from the rubble holding his head painfully. It was a unique ability Glode told him about that allowed him to triple his strength for a brief amount of time. The only cost was that it left behind several impurities in his body and it would slowly break his body apart. Luckily the breaking of his body would only last for a few hours and three days later, so he had time to mentally prepare himself for the pain.

As Braedon stood up, he heard Yi Ling shriek behind him. He quickly looked over and just saw Yi Ling covering her eyes in horror and Yi Bai awkwardly pointing down. They seemed safe so Braedon didn't understand why Yi Ling was screaming. Soon after Braedon felt a chilly wind across his skin and he froze in place.

He looked down and saw what made them react the way they did. His clothes had been completely burned up in the flames, he quickly found something cover himself up and shyly laughed. "That was unexpected." Yi Ling just gave him an angry glance while Yi Bai just shook his head lightly.

This was a memory that Braedon would fondly look back to in the future.
