Braedon pushed aside one of the second realms attackers. It wasn't a big challenge fighting these people since he was able to defeat them even when he was less than a quarter of his current strength. Sure that was thanks to his unique skill, but it still counted.

He shot up towards one of the weaker shadows and kicked him in the chest. The shadow flew back and crashed into a wall, and Braedon ran up to stab him in his leg. He made sure to not kill any of the people he had incapacitated.

Braedon knew what kind of world he know lived in. He knew that it was the rule of the jungle and it was either kill or be killed. But even so, this didn't mean he would kill anyone who got in his way.

Of course, Braedon was someone who would kill if needed. If there really was no other choice, then his heart would harden and he would make sure his enemy is dead. After all Braedon wasn't a complete pacifist.

While the slipped past someone's slash, he heard a shout behind him. Braedon turned his head and saw Hui Hui being pinned down by three people in the second realm.

He moved as quick as lighting and Braedon appeared directly behind one of the men in front of Hui Hui. He plunged his knife deep into the man's back and threw him aside while at the same time he punched the person right beside him in their face.

He looked around and tried to find the third person but he could not. All of a sudden he heard Hui Hui say to him, "Watch out!"

The third person fell from the ceiling and landed on top of Braedon's shoulders. He also had a small dagger in his hand and tried to thrust it down into Braedon's face. Braedon quickly slapped his palms together and stopped the blade just centimeters away from his eye.

The sharp edge of the dagger pricked the palm of his hands and he felt something wet on his palms.

Blood started to drip out of his hand and the blade slowly came closer as it slid along his blood. Braedon tightened his grip on the blade but this only caused it to cut more of his palm and draw out more blood.

Braedon could feel cool air radiating from the blade and his hands became frighteningly cold. His skin felt hot and ice started to form around his arms.

At that moment, Hui Hui charged in and slit large gashes across the man's arms. He quickly dropped his dagger and fell off of Braedon. He screamed out while looking at his almost severed arms in horror.

Hui Hui came back thrusted her sword into the man's chest and the light in his eyes slowly faded. She helped Braedon stand up and after he thanked her, they both ran toward the others who were having trouble.

The fight was absolute chaos and while Braedon's group did not have anyone die yet, it was obvious that they were being pushed into a corner.

The young master looked at the scene while one of his servants walked up and explained the situation, "It seems that while we are winning the battle, the numbers of casualties is greater than expected."

The young master nodded his head, "It doesn't matter, those were just prisoners that we brainwashed anyway." Then from the corner of his eye, he noticed Braedon and Hui Hui run toward the others who were being pushed back.

"It's that person again. He doesn't seem that strong yet what is this ominous feeling I get from him?"

The man next to the young master smiled calmly, "Don't worry, he won't be able to affect this battle much. I can tell that he hasn't even reached the second realm yet."

The young master grabbed his own weapons, gold and silver gauntlets. He stood up from his seated position, "Yet, he is still alive. Get your weapon, we are dealing with him ourselves." The man bowed to his master and brought out a single wooden staff.

They both jumped down from the ledge that they were resting on and moved in the direction of Braedon and Hui Hui.

~~~~~~~~~~
Braedon kept a good watch of his surrounding despite the chaos. He would attack those nearby and then move away to avoid any retaliation. This helped lessen the pressure for Zan Li and and Mei Jia. Mei Jia was able to grab Zan Li and throw him over to Rong Jie.
The two worked together surprisingly well and finished off the people around them. Mei Jia on the other hand reentered into battle with both Zan Li's and her own opponents.
Luckily Braedon was there and while Hui Hui acted as the vanguard to assist Mei Jia, Braedon acted as the background support and impeded the enemies progress.
Braedon kept moving from person to person, he could never harm them but he was a great distraction.
Just as Braedon found his next target, a beam of light flew by his cheek. A small cut formed next to where he was struck and Braedon quickly turned back to see what had attacked him.
It was the person who Braedon assumed was the leader of their group. Next to him was one of the men at the fourth realm with a staff in his hands.
Braedon smiled nervously at the two, "You're not here to deal with lil ole me are you?"
The man with the staff pointed it toward Braedon and a bright light shined at the tip, "Your orders?"
The young master lifted up his fists with gauntlets on them, "Leave no survivors."
A sinister smile appeared on the man with the staff's face, "As you command."
