It was dark. There was no warmth or light, only darkness. Braedon couldn't feel anything. Even when he touched his own arm, he felt nothing. As if there was nothing there.

But voices were everywhere. He could constantly hear voices screaming at him. They shouted at him to release them.

They wanted him to allow them to take over. They offered the promise of power, fame, and fortune. Braedon tried to ignore their seductive lies and attempted to close his ears to them, but the voices wouldn't stop.

In fact they became louder the more Braedon tried to block them out. He was going insane, they wouldn't leave his head no matter what and his mind started to jumble with their offers.

His thoughts started to revolve around their words, and he even started to repeat the same words himself. It was as if he was about to become of them. A ghost in the sea of spirits wailing at the living for their life.

Then Braedon heard something, it wasn't like the other voices which were loud and commanding. But instead it was calm and warm, like the bright sun. The deep voice spoke words that enveloped the other voices and drowned them out.

"Leave the boy alone."

Then, a bright light shot into the darkness, it formed the shape of a man. The man held out his hand and reached for Braedon. Braedon's mind started to clear of the voices and he reached for the outstretched arm that was brought towards him.

It felt warm, like freshly baked bread, and it pulled him from the darkness. A powerful force enveloped him, he started to be able to feel his own limbs and heartbeat again.

The light started to dim and he saw who his savior was. His mind started to become giddy and dazed.

Braedon smiled at his savior as he his name, "It's nice to see you again, Kai Jun."

Kai Jun smiled kindly at Braedon. He helped him stand up and started to pull Braedon along for a walk. "What an odd situation you have found yourself in."

Braedon gave off a confused look, "I haven't really found myself in this situation, this was just by coincidence."

They continued walking to an area filled with stars and planets. It was like a planetarium except it looked incredibly detailed and realistic. Braedon had never seen anything like it.

If he payed close attention, Braedon was sure he could even see humans, or something similar, living on them.

"Coincidences are just your choices affecting things that you don't understand." Kai Jun waved his hand over the images of the planets and they faded away.

"What did you do to them?" Braedon looked at the darkness that once held a beautiful picture of possible life. Kai Jun squeezed his shoulders, "Don't worry, they are still there. You just can't see them."

They entered into another room but this time it was bright. In fact it was a little too bright. Braedon used his hands to cover his eyes while watching out to see where Kai Jun was walking. They moved into an area where the light wasn't as bright and Kai Jun told Braedon to put down his hands.

Braedon slowly put his hands down and the light before him shined brighter than it ever had before. But it didn't hurt to look, instead Braedon felt as if he was being healed. "Who are you?"

The flame spoke , "I am..."

Zan Fu ran without stop as the dragon chased him from behind. It crashed into the wall and roared at them. Oddly enough, it hasn't released a breath of fire in a while.

Shu Rong, who was in front of him, slowed down until he was right next to him, "You need to move faster! You need to let go." Zan Fu's shook his head, "Don't worry, I'll speed up when I need to."

They fought for a second about how foolish his decision until a large rock flew right between them and they decided to shut up and keep running.

They started to become more tired as time passed. Zan Fu knew that he was tiring too quickly for his own good, but he couldn't do anything about it. He held a tighter grasp on the thing that was being carried on his back.

Zan Fu quickly noticed something strange, it was becoming warmer instead of colder. Braedon's body felt like it was healing. While this made Zan Fu extremely happy, he didn't understand why or how.

It was as if something was giving the necessary life force needed to heal himself.

Rong Jie turned back once a few times and tried to attack the dragon. The results were less than spectacular and all it did was make it more pissed.

"I'm not sure how long we can keep doing this!" Some people complained but they couldn't do anything about it. Mei Jia screamed at them in annoyance, "Unless one of you just so happened to be a dragon slayer, then you need to just shut up and run."

They all took a turn into a new hall but Qing Lei paused his steps in horror. In front of all of them was a large wall that covered their path. It was a dead end.

Qing Lei started to panic, "We're trapped, we need to run befor-"

Just as Qing Lei was about to finish his sentence, a large shadow appeared in the corner of his eyes and the great beast stepped into the area they stood in. He stepped back a few steps and looked around for something.

He finally spotted something and grabbed at Hui Shui. "Qing Lei! What are you doing?!" Hui Hui screamed at him when she noticed his actions.

Qing Lei looked back with a crazed look in his eyes, "We need to survive and Hui Shui is the weakest among us, she will act as our distraction!"

He threw Hui Shui in the direction of the of the dragon with all of his strength. Despite being the healer, Qing Lei was in the third realm peak, Third realm, sixth stage. His strength was equal to Mei Jia and Zan Fu. It was also several stages higher than Hui Shui's.

She flew far in the creatures direction and crash next to its feet. The dragon looked down at her with a curious expression. "Qing Lei you bastard!" Hui Hui charged out to her sister and Zan Li grabbed Qing Lei by his collar, "What the f*ck was that!"

He just slapped Zan Li's hand aside, "What I did was buy us some time to come up with a plan." Zan Li turned to Mei Jia with a disgusted expression. She looked distraught and confused by the development.

"We need to help them." The dragon was just over Hui Hui who had finally arrived next to Hui Shui. It looked... hungry. The monster looked like it made a difficult decision and it's cheeks started to glow red.

Zan Fu shook his head, "This is NOT how we do things." Qing Lei screamed back, "Then what was your plan, huh? Don't you need to save that worthless deadweight friend of your-... where is he?"

Zan Fu looked confusedlycat him, "Where is who?"

"That friend of yours that you were carrying on your back."

Rong Jie, Mei Jia, Shu Rong, and the others looked at Zan Fu who said, "He is still here on... my... back?"

Braedon was gone, in his place was a splotch of blood that was quickly drying, "Where did he..."

That's when everyone noticed where Braedon was.

Braedon was calmly carrying Hui Shui and Hui Hui, who had both fainted, back over his shoulders. The dragon wasn't even taking any actions and only staring at him in a strange way.

Braedon laid both of the girls down onto the floor right next to Shu Rong. Zan Fu walked up with a concerned expression, "Braedon? Is that you?"

Braedon did say anything, nor did he look over in their direction. He only dropped off the girls and walked back toward the dragon, but Zan Fu noticed something. Braedon's usually dark eyes, had become a bright orange as if his eyes had been replaced by flames.
