"Where can it possibly be!" Zan Fu had been walking around in search of the crystal inside of the worm's body forever. It shouldn't have been that hard to search around its body since the worm was only a few hundred meters. Although this might seem like a long distance to most people, to a cultivator it wasn't very far.

Unfortunately, the worm's body was like a maze. It was constantly shifting and the fleshy walls kept moving in their way. Whenever they traveled along one path, something would move in front of them suddenly, as if the worm knew what they were planning and was trying to get in their way.

They tried attacking at the obstacles before, but it only caused weird fluids that burned them to spill out. Other than that, the walls regenerated quite quickly. If they were to become desperate, Drodon suggested that Zan Fu should use what strength he still had to activate the claw and get them through to the other side.

While Zan Fu knew that this would probably be super effective, he still couldn't help but feel pathetic at how dependent he had become on the claw. There was a time when even without the claw he could've been considered a powerful expert, but now he needed it for everything he did.

"Pathetic..." Drodon wasn't listening as Zan Fu berated himself quietly, "You're better than this Zan Fu." As he tried to pump himself up, Zan Fu finally noticed that they have been walking in the same direction for a while.

"Drodon, have you noticed..."

"Yeah, it looks like this giant motor has finally stopped moving flor something."

They were not sure if this was a good or bad thing, all they knew was that a chance like this might never come again if they miss this.

Zan Fu proceeded to do his hop and glide ability while Drodon flew beside him. As they kept traveling farther along the path, a bright light started to shine oh in front of them. They saw it a while ago from far back but now they noticed that it was coming closer and closer. Drodon had an idea pop up in his mind and he told Zan Fu that the light orb was probably the reason why it was so bright in the worm.

From the looks of it, the light was extremely bright and even Zan Fu could tell that they were still quite a distance from it but it still shined with such splendor. The light even seemed to have some sentience since even the crevices which shouldn't have been able to be lit up, were brightened by the light.

They moved in slowly until they could feel actual heat radiating off of the object at the center of the light. It looked to be the cause of the brightness, since it seemed to be producing the light. It wasn't very big, nor was it the most detailed. It honestly just looked like a marble the size of a fist.

"Is this what I think it is?" Zan Fu covered his eyes while peeking through his fingers at the sun-like object. He has never seen the energy crystal that a Gaian Worm produces before, but the fluctuations of power that was making Zan Fu's heart beat faster made it pretty obvious what this was.

"Yes" that's all Drodon needed to say to Zan Fu to reach in and wrap his hand around the crystal. Once he came into contact with the stone, the light died down a little. He felt the power inside of the stone slowly leave it and just suddenly disappear.

Although he knew that the power wasn't just disappearing. In reality, all of the energy was being absorbed by the claw at an incredible speed. It was like dry dirt that just had water poured into it, or a man who has been in the desert for hours and just received a cup of water.

He placed the stone in his pockets and was just about to return the way he came with Drodon but then a voice called out behind him.

"You came for a visit but now you're leaving so soon?" Zan Fu paused for a second and slowly turned around to find a strange man in a black trench coat sitting there cross legged. "Hello there young man, and who might you be?"

Zan Fu looked at the man with a worried expression. He could feel the power radiating off of the man's body. With this in mind, he knew one thing about him, he wasn't here by chance but by choice.

A familiar feeling came from the mysterious stranger's body as well. One that he had never felt before. Drodon hid behind Zan Fu and whispered in his ears quietly.

"Zan Fu, I feel a power similar to your own. I don't know what it is but I have no doubt that this man has some connections to the entity."

Zan Fu's face blanched as he gave off a smile to the other man, "I'm sorry for my rudeness senior, do you mind if I ask for your name?"

The man waved his hand over to signal that he did mind. He patted the floor right beside him, "Come here and have a seat." Zan Fu declined the offer and stood there without moving a muscle. The man smiled kindly as Drodon whispered once more behind him, "We need to think of a way to regain your power quickly. Something about this guy is definitely off."

Zan Fu almost rolled his eyes at Drodon. Of course he already knew this, but what could he possibly do to regain his strength. It wasn't like he had some way of obtaining a large amount of soul crystals all of a sudd-.

Zan Fu's mind raced as he quickly focused his mind and placed his hands behind him. Blue energy came off of his palm as a soul crystal popped into his hand. Zan Fu began to absorb its energy while thinking of someway to distract the man before him.

"So what is a man like you doing here?"

Braedon sat down with his arms over his knees, like some sort of gangster, in front of Kai Jun. He looked completely emotionless as he just sat there waiting for Kai Jun to say something.

"I'll admit Braedon, when I first started to train you, I was sure that you were hopeless. But now that I look at what came out, I think that all of my efforts were worth it.

The aura of a sixth realm cultivator flowed off of Braedon's body. Even though he reached such a stage in cultivation, without a body his strength was only equivalent to a fourth realm peak stage cultivator at most.

A smile appeared on his face as he heard Kai Jun's compliment, "Well I wouldn't have been able to do so much without a good teacher to assist."

"Damn right! You're basically trash without me, your current achievement is just because of my great teaching skills."

Braedon immediately regretted his words and murderous intent rose off of his body. "Shameless!" A smile crept onto his face as Kai Jun laughed. They both stood up together and walked outside of the the cottage that they have been living in.

"I'm going to miss this place."

"Not me, in the end I'll just return here. As for you, I guess this will be your last time seeing it."

Braedon turned to Kai Jun with a questioning look on his face. "What do we do now?"

"Now Braedon, now we return to YOUR world."
