Each battle that Braedon and Kai Jun fought within the tower was neither easy nor hard. In fact, if Braedon has to use simple words to describe it, he would say that it was a good workout.

In order from the first to the tenth Braedon has had to fight against the rabbit, the goat, the pig, the snake, the ox, the dog, the chicken, the rat, the horse, and the tiger. The only ones left were the dragon and the monkey.

This left him in a cold sweat since his first encounter with a dragon didn't end so well. In fact, it ended in him almost dying and his body being stolen. So it was no exaggeration to say that he was a bit frightened.

"Don't worry, to be honest the thing you faced in the dungeon wasn't technically a dragon. It was honestly just an abomination that shouldn't exist." Kai Jun, in an effort to cheer him up, said this to him. Braedon wasn't sure how Kai Jun would know this but he still felt a bit touched at how much he was caring for Braedon.

"Really? If so I guess it must've been a little stronger since it went against the natural order."

"Nope, if it was a dragon that thing would've been killed in an instant. Those monsters are much more fearsome than anything you can possibly imagine!"

As soon as Kai Jun finished this sentence, all sense of goodwill that Braedon felt towards him disappeared while he tried to jump kick Kai Jun in the chest, "Return to me my appreciation!"

After laughing about this, they finally reached the door of the eleventh floor. Engraved upon the door was what Braedon was looking forward to the least. It was the dragon. He released a deep sigh as Kai Jun stepped forward to open the door.

"Prepare yourself." He pushed the door open and both of them began to walk in. As they entered he room, Braedon noticed that for the first time throughout their entire trip, the room was empty.

"Huh, that's odd. I wonder why this room is empty?" Kai Jun was confused by the situation before them until he looked up. Braedon didn't really mind this though and just took a few more steps forward.

"I wonder what happened here." Before he could walk in any further, a hand was placed upon his shoulder that held him back. Braedon turned around to see Kai Jun pointing up at the ceiling.

Braedon slowly looked up to find a horrifying scene before him. Sleeping soundly above them was a dragon that was upside down. Its dark red scales shined with an ominous glow and its power arms and legs clutches on to ceiling with ease.

Its four meters long tail slithered from side to side smacking into the wall next to it and causing rubble to fall onto the ground. Every breath it released had burning hot flames come out of its nostrils and its wings, which were folded in, had spikes as sharp as blades protruding from them.

Kai Jun didn't say a word while Braedon was surveying the situation before them. After he was finished, he nodded to Kai Jun who finally spoke a few words, "We aren't going to attack you asleep, so you can stop pretending."

Just then the eyes of the beast shot open and a golden hue shined out of its iris. The monster released its grip on the ceiling and fell down gracefully upon the floor with no trouble at all.

Its long powerful neck stretched out to its full length and its tail smashed against the ground beneath it causing the tower to tremble.

In a voice similar to what one would imagine a snake to sound like, it spoke to the two people before it, "~Welcome~ to the eleventh floor of the tower brave little heroesssss. You musssst forgive me for my rude behavior. You sssssee I needed to know if your ssssstrength was the real deal or if you jussst reached my room by chanceee."

Despite its appearance, the dragon's voice was very gentle and calming. Also it seemed a bit strange to Braedon that it was talking to them, wasn't it planning to kill them?

Although he didn't know how to respond in this situation, Kai Jun took care of that for him, "Hello guardian of the eleventh floor. My name is Kai Jun and my friend here is Braedon. We've come to the tower to use the portal found at the very top."

"Oh my, Kai Jun? Why doessss thissss name ssssound ssssso familiar. It issss on the top of my tongue! Why can't I remember where I have heard this name before?"

While it was speaking to itself, Braedon listened closely to its word and couldn't help but mention something he noticed, "You didn't stretch out your "s" sound for "this" in your last sentence."

The dragon paused a bit as the area where its cheeks should be became more red than usual.

Kai Jun gave off a small chuckle as he stated what Braedon was assuming, "Were you faking the stretches of your "s" sounds?"

The dragon turned around in embarrassment as it spoke in a normal voice, "Well it has been a long time since I have had some visitors and first impressions are very important!"

At this Braedon couldn't help but laugh out loud at the dragon's words. As his laugh rang throughout the room, the other two just stared at him.

"What is so funny human?"

Braedon took a few seconds to calm down before answering, "It's just that, when I think of your kind, the only thing that pops into my head is a scary man eating monster. But now that I've met you, a REAL dragon, it's just so unexpected that you are so...nice and happy."

The dragon bared its fangs at Braedon in an odd way, "Um did I displeasure you in some way Mr. Dragon?"

The dragon roared in laughter at Braedon's question, "First of all, I'm a woman thank you very much. Secondly, that was me smiling."

Even Kai Jun turned to look at Braedon as if to say, "That was a smile?!?" But what came out of his mouth instead was, "I guess that means you're in a good mood."

Instead of fighting like what Braedon expected, they all just sat down and began to talk about their lives. Well Braedon and the dragon did, Kai Jun mostly just listened in but kept his last to himself.

"So the two of you are planning to return to the other world and get Braedon his body back?"

The dragon, after listening to their situation, was quite surprised at the events happening in their lives. Braedon nodded his head and leaned back with his arms placed behind him for support.

"Yeah, we just finished handling the tenth floor and now we are on the... eleventh..."

An awkward silence came about due to Braedon's careless words, but it was soon broken by the dragon. She patted his head kindly and gave off another weird smile.

"AHHH THE PAIN!" The dragon roared out as she took a few steps back and fell onto the ground, "Little heroes, you have defeated me in battle. Now it is time for you to move on to your next opponent. But he warned he is much more powerful than me. I will be avenged!"

She closed her eyes shut and her tongue plopped out of her mouth onto the ground. Kai Jun and Braedon stood there flabbergasted at what just happened, until on of the dragon's eyes opened up.

"What are you doing, hurry up and move on to the next floor!" She whispered to them quietly as if afraid that someone might hear her. Realization struck the two friends as a warm feeling flowed through Braedon's body.

"Thank you."

A smile was his only response as both Kai Jun and Braedon ran passed her to the stairway behind her. Just before they began climbing it, a voice called out behind them.

"Be careful, the person on the next floor is not as powerful as I am. But he is ruthless and extremely crafty. Do not underestimate him no matter what."

Braedon nodded at her words but before they could walk up the stairs again, she called out once more.

"Also if you do somehow manage to defeat him, do not let your guard down. The final boss is on the thirteenth floor."

This made the two pause for a second. It was obvious that the tower was made with the zodiacs in mind, if so then what was on the thirteenth floor? The dragon's voice didn't call out a third time so they began walking up the steps.

Finally one last time a voice rang through the room, but this time it was Braedon's voice.

"I promise that we will come visit again!"

Although he didn't get to see what happened afterwords, he felt as if the room became a lot brighter. A lot more...happy.

At last they made it to the twelfth floor and prepared themselves for the next boss.

"Are you ready Kai Jun?"

"I should be asking YOU that, let's go!"

~~~~~
Back in the eleventh floor, the dragon heard Braedon's words and a few tears of happiness flowed out of her eyes.
"Thank you child, but that won't be necessary." She silently said this to herself while looking forward. There, directly in front of her, was a strange shadowy figure just standing there.
"You allowed them to move on without a fight." A dark shadowy aura protruded from the figure as he began walking towards her.
The dragon didn't back down however, instead she stood her ground and snarled at the figure.
"I'm no longer playing along with your games! While I have only known them for a while, I know that those two were meant to great things. No longer will I allow my fear of you to crush the hope of another."
"If you won't do what I say, then your life is no longer worth keeping."
"If that is so, at least I know that I will die as a proud member of the dragon race!"
The shadowy figure advanced forward at lightning fast speed at the dragon while she brought up her tail to face the figure head on.
And there silently without anyone else noticing, the boss of the eleventh floor died.
