Braedon popped some candy into his mouth and walked a short distance before finding Zan Fu waiting for him nearby his house. Without saying anything, Zan Fu pointed to his limousine parked in Braedon's driveway and both he and Braedon entered it.

They drove for awhile and talked about their day, homework, and class related subject. Despite being a cultivator, Zan Fu was still somehow an idiot. As the vehicle got closer to the mansion, Braedon popped the coin out of his pocket and looked at it.

It shined with a brilliant light and Braedon wondered if this was really the best idea. Maybe there were other options. He quickly shook his head and returned the coin to his pocket.

They reached their destination and walked towards the mansion. Braedon looked around and noticed several guards were around, protecting the front entrance.

"It looks like you guys increased your security." Zan Fu nodded at Braedon's words and explained, "Dungeons, even lower ranked ones, are rare and serious things to trade. If a single mistake occurs, then a huge pile of wealth could easily disappear from the face of this world."

Braedon understood what he meant and he quickened entering the building quickly. Once they passed through the gate, it closed behind them and Braedon could hear locking sounds, but he didn't turn back to look.

Zan Rong and Mei Ling, who were sitting next to each other, were looking in their direction as they entered the room. Zan Fu stepped forward and took a seat next to his parents while Braedon sat on the opposite end.

Zan Rong smiled in Braedon's direction while taking a sip of tea that a servant brought them, "When I told you, you could sell anything good that you don't need, I didn't think you would surprise us with this."

Mei Ling released a small chuckle while Zan Rong laughed at this, "Honestly, if you went to anyone else you would already be dead. But instead you came to us! We aren't cruel enough to kill you off, but it is quite tempting HAHAHAHAHA!"

Mei Ling's fist found itself in Zan Rong's face soon after. He immediately ended his dark humor and went on with more serious matters. Zan Rong explained the coin in Braedon's hand was worth an incredible sum of wealth.

While this was a good thing, they couldn't just give him the wealth directly. With a little bit of common sense, Braedon understood the reason immediately. It was the same reason why he didn't want to keep the coin. If someone were to learn of the treasures he was about to obtain, and they were stronger than him, then nothing would stop them from killing him and taking whatever they wanted.

The two sides talked back and forth for some time and tried to come up with a fair trade. Zan Fu wanted his parents to give Braedon a large amount of resources worth half of the dungeon, and the other half would be paid in protection for Braedon. Zan Rong on the other hand believed that this was a waste of man power and refused the idea.

Braedon just wanted anything that could help him advance to the next level, or treasures that could increase someone's lifespan. Zan Fu accepted this, but he believed the dungeon was worth more than just those few things.

They kept bartering back and forth for hours until Mei Ling came up with a good idea.

"The dungeon key itself can be easily worth resources up to the third realm, but the rank of the dungeon makes the coin's value increase to resources up to the fifth realm."

Mei Ling tapped her fingers upon the table as she tucked her long hair behind her ear. She looked directly at Braedon while saying in a soft voice, " How about this. We provide you with resources up to the second level right now. Later on once you break through, we will provide resources for the third level."

Braedon intently listened on as Mei Ling continued, "This will repeat for every breakthrough you achieve until the fifth level. That way, you won't come under any danger for your resources while at the same time getting a good deal for the key. We, on the other hand, will be able to claim the artifact in the dungeon for ourselves."

Both Zan Fu and Zan Rong nodded at the suggestion. Braedon contemplated to himself and thought that it was a great idea. Just as he was about to give his answer, Mei Ling placed out her outstretched hand and asked a simple question.

"Do we have a deal?"

Braedon shook her hand and the agreement was completed. They spent some time afterwards to type down and print out a contract for this. Zan Rong waved his hand and a servant stepped up with a small box in his hand.

It was small enough for Braedon to just place in his pocket, but Zan Rong picked it up gingerly and slowly handed it to Braedon as if it was made of glass. Braedon accepted it and asked what it was.

"Tribulation Life Pill", Zan Rong proudly said with his chest puffed out, "When cultivators break through a realm, a tribulation occurs. This is simply a mass of storm clouds that strike lightning down upon them. It refines their body and strengthens their energy, but it is also extremely hard to survive one"

"This is because, we are existences that go against the rules of the world. So while the world tries to smite us down when we become stronger, it also must follow the rule of equivalent exchange. This means that if we survive, we receive more strength instead."

Braedon nodded and thanked him for the explanation, while doing so he thought about the strange clouds appearing in the sky a few hours ago. Zan Rong kept talking while Braedon was thinking of this, " The Tribulation Life Pill is a very simple thing. It heals any injuries caused by a fourth level tribulation or lower."

Zan Rong explained that it wouldn't be able to heal injuries from fifth realm tribulations due to them being to powerful. They had a few of these pills, but they could only hand over one due to Zan Fu, his nieces, and his nephews also having the possibility of needing these pills in the future.

Braedon thanked him for the pill and Zan Rong called over one of his servants, "Bring over a space bag and fill it with the resources for cultivators of the first level."

Braedon's ears perked up when he heard this. A space bag! If it was what he thought it was then it was worthy of excitement. In stories and novels, space bags were just little bags that bent the rules of space allowing a large storage to form inside of it. A bag that fits his hand could store an entire room of objects for all he knew.

They waited for a few seconds before the servant returned and in his hand...was a normal grocery bag. The "space bag" was actually just a bag from the grocery store down the street. It was spaced themed so the bag of course was technically a space bag.

Tears streamed down his face while Zan Fu patted his shoulder and smiled, "I know what you were thinking and let me just say, don't trust everything you read."

Braedon left soon after and looked at the pills and medicine in the bag. "Guess I should start practicing."
