That same day Zan Fu walked back into his training room. He was not here to practice techniques or anything like that this time. He was there because he needed answers about what was happening.

He still felt a bit giddy from his odd trance-like state, but the feeling had mellowed down a bit. Looking around the room, he could not find a single clue as to why he went into the trance. It was something that left a bad taste in his mouth since he did not know what happened, but he had to put it aside for a bit.

There were more important things to worry about other than something he would probably never try again. Zan Fu left soon after in order to talk to his father about the raid. He entered back into the house and saw Shu Rong sitting at the kitchen counter with a mug of coffee in her hand.

He paused for a second and walked over to him. Shu Ring was reading a book on her new phone while he was drinking the coffee. As Zan Fu got closer, Shu Rong looked up at him coming closer to her. Zan Fu waved as he stepped up and took a seat right next to her.

"Thanks."

He wasn't exactly sure what he should do so Zan Fu figured that he should start with thanking Shu Rong for her assistance. She stared at him with an odd smile on her face. Suddenly a butter knife appeared on her hand and was placed against his throat, "Do you know what you did this morning?"

The knife surprised Zan Fu for a second, but he calmed down quickly and used his finger to push the it away from him, "C'mon now, we both know that something like a butter knife will not break through my defenses. What were you even trying to do there?"

"Honestly I don't know. Doing that usually adds a sort of intimidating factor to it and most people don't really think about what I'm doing. Also, you were way too calm sonidering I just had a blade placed against your throat!"

"It wouldn't be the first time," Zan Fu released a small chuckle as fond memories of the past resurfaced in his mind.

"I have never seen a person have such a bright smile while thinking back to a time when they had a knife pressed against their neck." Shu Rong couldn't help but comment on how silly his actions were, but she didn't mind as he too released a small laugh.

Zan Fu nodded and said, "Anyway, what did I do that was so terrible?"

"Well this morning you barged into the bathroom while I-" Shu Rong stopped himself before he finished his sentence, leaving Zan Fu confused, "While you were doing what?"

"It doesn't matter anymore. You're an idiot, did you know that?" Shu Rong smiled as Zan Fu gave off a shocked expression at her hurtful words. The two friend laughed and chatted for a few minutes before he continued to walk to the room where believed his father was staying in.

The office was the place where Zan Rong would sit down and surf the web. Zan Fu walked up to him and asked his father a simple request, "Dad, when the raid of the club comes along in a few days, I want to participate in it."

This took Zan Rong a few seconds to allow to sink in, before he shook his head, "No, you are not coming along in this trip."

"But-"

"No buts. This is a serious battle that will decide many of our future actions. Do not forget that while Braedon's body is supposedly found among the members of the Shadow Guild, we will not be able to question or search them without proper reasons. But if we obtain information about hidden refinement of Living Pills, they all have no excuses if we forcefully search every inch of their organization headquarters, branches, and affiliated buildings." Zan Rong said this calmly with little emotions in his voice.

"That's why I should be there helping!"

"No, that's why you shouldn't be there helping. Your emotions may get the better of you and although you are not weak, you are not string either. Battles like these only end up in one thing, death. If you aren't in the right mind in this raid, then the outcome might be the biggest regret of my life."

Zan Fu took in a deep breath. He understood why his father was doing this but he was adamant on going, "I can not accept that, I have to go. I understand your worry, but it's not like this is the first time I went on a raid. And I can assure you my judgements will not be clouded by my emotions."

"Especially if I go along with him." Suddenly a voice called out from behind Zan Fu and he turned around to find Shu Rong standing at the doorway of the office.

Zan Rong looked up at her sudden appearance and stared at her with an eyebrow raised, "You want onto come along as well?"

"Yes sir, please do not forget that this is also my revenge as well. Along with me I will bring along some of my best scouts so that you might be able to get an understanding of the battle field better." Shu Rong stepped up next to Zan Fu and gave off a grin, "Besides, someone needs to make sure you Son doesn't do anything stupid, am I right?"

Zan arong smiled at her snarky remarks and nodded, "you aren't wrong-"

"I standing right here you know."

"-But how do I know you are strong enough for the job? I believe we need a small test before I decide whether you are allowed onto the raid or not."

Shu Rong gave a surprised look towards Zan Ron before giving off a confident and determined expression while crossing her arms, "Are you challenging me to a duel."

"More like a test of strength young child. Now tell me, do you accept or not?"

"A accept it in a heartbeat!"
