A few days passed after the battle between Shu Rong and Zan Rong. Time passed without any other eventful thing occurring in Zan Fu's life. The day finally came where the preparations for the raid of the Shadow Guild's small club was finally completed.

Inside of Zan Fu's courtyard, stood two hundred and fifty cultivators of the fourth realm or higher. Their numbers looked incredibly small but their power more than made up for their lack of warriors. This was a small portion of the Zan Clan's fully army. They were only using this many men because they were only going up against a single branch of the Shadow Guild p, so they could not go too far and use their entire army or else it would look like they were provoking the entire organization. This was something that they did not want...yet.

Zan Fu watched the small army move and bustle about in nervous tension for the battle up ahead. While it may have seemed as if they were nervous about being harm in their future battle, in reality they were more worried about how many of their opponents they could kill. These men and women in the army were more than prepared for death and had no fear of it. They would not even flinched if they were currently mortals threatened at gunpoint.

Suddenly a hand smacked down onto Zan Fu's shoulders, shocking him for a second. He turned around only to find his father standing there with a smirk on his face.

Zan Fu released a sigh before smiling back and saying, "Hello father, what brings you here today?"

Zan Rong answered while shrugging, "Can't a man visit his son just before they are about to go to war? I still can not believe that I am letting you come along."

"At least I'm not sneaking into the ranks of the soldiers this time. Besides, I am strong father, I won't die that easily." Zan Fu laughed out while Zan Rong just said, "A father is always worried for his children even when he knows that they will be safe. Especially if the child is a troublemaker like you!"

The father and son duo laughed for a few seconds before Zan Fu felt something pressed against his chest. He looked down to find a set of armor was being pressed up against him by Zan Rong. It was not just any set of armor either, it was the artifact armor that they found in the dungeon so long ago. "What is this?"

"It's the artifact your mother and I obtained a while back. The one that has incredible defense."

"I know what it is! I meant why is it here?" Zan Fu's could not understand what was going on right now. Although he had an idea, he was not sure if he could accept it.

"I want you to wear this armor into battle, Zan Fu. I know what your are going to say. You think it isn't right that you should wear it and you want either me or you mother to wear it instead. We talked to each other about this and we think that it is more suitable in your hands."

Zan Rong said all of this while releasing his hold on the armor set, "if you are not protected enough, I would be too distracted worrying over you to concentrate on the battle at hand. It would be the same for Mei Ling, so just accept the armor and shut up, okay? Don't worry about us and our defense, trust me when I say that very few people will be able to stand up against me."

This was not just baseless arrogance, as it was a fact that Zan Rong and Mei Ling were both on the brink of becoming Divinities. Unless the opponents was a Divinity himself, they were almost indefeatable and even if the adversary was in the eight realm, it would still be a challenge to kill the two of them. No one knew why their power was so great while they were only in the seventh realm, but they were truly a symbol power among other cultivators of the world.

Zan Fu nodded at his father's words and took the armor into his grasp, "Thank you..."

"Don't mention it. I mean this literally, don't mention this at all!"

Zan Rong laughed as he walked away after doing what he had planned to do. Zan Fu cracked his knuckles and walked over to the room that Shu Eong was currently staying in to see if she was prepared for battle yet.

Braedon watched as Blue, Kai Jun, and Jingyi Lei all prepared themselves for the upcoming battle. Compared to one week ago, Blue looked like a completely changed man. He gave off a dangerous feeling and looked physically stronger than he did a week ago. His body pulsates with power and his muscles bulged out of his tight clothing.

Kai Jun looked the same as always. His appearance was just that of a young man wearing a gray hoodie with a pair of jeans. His black hair billowed in the wind as deep in his eyes, a flame burned brightly.

Jingyi Lei was the person who changed the most of the three. He finally looked his age in a sort of way. He looked like he was a twelve year old boy, but he gave off the feeling of being someone in their late twenties. Kai Jun's training over the past week has changed him completely. And although he was still a timid and shy boy, he could hold himself in a fight with someone similar to are even a tiny bit higher than him in strength.

The group of four were all wearing no armor or anything, but floating over their heads were strange orbs of light that were given to them by Kai Jun. apparently the orbs were only to be used in a life or death situation, and they would drain the users of all their power. This made Jingyi Lei and Blue nervous around the orbs and cared for them gingerly.

"Is everything ready?" Braedon said these three simple words, even while knowing what response he would receive.

"Nope, but might as well try to invade them now!"

Braedon felt his eye twitch as he said, "We are all going to die."
