Braedon and Zan Fu both slammed their weapons down over Phoen's head, but their attacks were blocked by only one of his arms. Kai Jun came in right behind them, with his fist already prepared to release a punch. He slipped between the two boys and arrived in front of Phoen, who was too busy watching Braedon and Zan Fu. A single fist shot out into Phoen's guts, forcing him to be pushed back a few steps while giving off an annoyed look.
Braedon took a step back in order to be in line with Kai Jun, but Zan Fu continued his assault instead. He charged in further with the claw swinging around wildly, he was not even batting an eye when Phoen attempted to retaliate. This was because he was able to aim all of Phoen's attacks toward the areas of his body that was protected by the armor. Eventually, Phoen figures out what was happening and decided to aim for the body areas that was avoided.
This crippled Zan Fu's recklessness greatly, but he bought enough time for Braedon to prepare himself. Zan Fu began to retreat as quickly as he could, but Phoen chased after him like a mosquito. Suddenly, a fireball flew into Phoen's face, stopping his chase to pat the fire out. He looked up in the direction of where the flame came from and saw Braedon using the feather to fling several fireballs at him.
Phoen gave off a chuckle as he said, "Looks like you have similar powers to me. Too bad whatever you do, I can do better." Phoen held out his arm and a slightly larger feather condensed into his palm. With a single swing, a dozen balls of flame flew out aim toward Kai Jun, Zan Fu, and Braedon. The three men each knocked away the attack with their weapons.
Phoen gave off a small laugh as he used his legs to launch himself towards them. He swung his feather around at the exact same time the three friends split up in order to avoid his attack. Although he missed hitting his targets, his swing gave him the opportunity to launch a few more fireballs. Zan Fu and Kai Jun quickly raised up their arms in order to protect themselves, but Braedon was caught by surprise and had one of the balls slam into his chest.
The force of the impact caused him to crash into the altar behind him. Kai Jun and Zan Fu both landed softly onto their feet after blocking the attack. Zan Fu looked over at where Braedon landed with panic in his eyes while Kai Jun looked at Phoen in confusion, "Something's not right..."
Zan Fu turned to Kai Jun and said, "Of course something isn't right. He's kicking our asses!" Kai Jun shook his head, "No, it's not that. His aura is rising rapidly."
Kai Jun's words caught Zan Fu's attention, "What do you mean?"
"When we first saw him, his aura was very weak, almost similar to that of mortals. After leaving his cauldron however, his power have been on the rise without any sign of stopping. This rapid improvement would only make sense if he absorbed a large amount of souls, like he is currently planning to do, but there hasn't been enough time for him to truly take in and integrate all that power in his body." Kai Jun said all of this in a way that allowed Zan Fu to know that something was up.
"So you're saying that something is feeding power into him?" Zan Fu could not believe what he was hearing, but the possibility was there. There was nothing that Kai Jun could think of that would improve Phoen's strength so much, in such a short span of time. But if they could find it and destroy it, then their chances of winning would increase.

Whatever it was, it helped the wounds on Braedon heal up until there was not a single scratch on him. While he didn't know what it was, he knew that Phoen's strength was thanks to this.
"Guys! The source of Phoen's strength is this altar, we need to destroy it!" Braedon screamed this while slamming the feather down into the strange table. His attack ricocheted off without even leaving a scratch.
When Kai Jun and Zan Fu heard Braedon's words, they turned and nodded at each other before completely ignoring Phoen and charging at the altar. Phoen's head shot over to Braedon's direction and he released a roar while charging to where Braedon stood.

The kick somehow knocked Braedon into Zan Fu and Kai Jun, which actually allowed them to dodge the blade beam which flew over their heads. Kai Jun pushed Braedon off of him and hopped into his feet. From the look of things, Phoen really cared a lot about his little table, and the panic on his face told Kai Jun that there was more than meets the eyes.

"Because unlike you, I'm not technically giving it my all." Braedon has no retorts for Kai Jun's words, so he decided to just nod and take a step back. He turned to the two boys behind him and said, "I think it's time to reveal my identity..." before Kai Jun could say who he was, Braedon spouted our, "You're the real Sun Wukong, The Monkey King, right? Yeah, we already know" His words made Kai Jun choke on the words that were about to pop out of his mouth. He looked down at Braedon and screamed out, "How!"

Braedon, "You have 72 orbs that 'transforms' you into different things, you technically battled against heaven just like in the legends, your strange interest in the golden circlet which looks like the well known crown, your hatred of other people using your name to do dumb stuff, and your dislike of human refinement since people tried to refine you in the past."
Zan Fu, "Don't forget about his flaming eyes." Braedon slapped his forehead in realization, "Oh yeah, those too!" Kai Jun thought back to all of his actions and realized that they did kind of give some hints on who he was. After giving off a sigh, he nodded to them.

An armor, similar to the one that Braedon wore when they all fought against the club boss, formed Phoen's body except its colors were inverted. After the glow died down, Kai Jun stood there with his bare chest out in the open while the circlet wrapped itself tightly against his head.
He turned to Zan Fu and winked at him while holding his arm out, "I think I'll be taking this back." Zan Fu felt something shift under his clothing as he looked down and found the armor on his chest was melting off and moving toward Kai Jun. A bit further away, Shu Rong looked down at her scarf as it melted off her neck and fly towards Kai Jun as if it was magnetized to him.
The armor began to reshape itself midair and what appeared on Kai Jun, no, Sun Wukong was a set of plated armor that covered his entire body somehow. It also includes a cap with two large red feathers sticking out of it. The orbs surrounding Sun Wukong merged into the armor, giving it a bright shining glow. Afterwords, Sun Wukong reached into his ear and pulled a tiny stick out of it. With a single swing of the stock, it grew into a large, smooth, and gray staff. He looked down at the weapon in his hands and gave off a nostalgic expression, "Good to see you again old friend." He turned over to Braedon and said, "You and Zan Fu head towards that altar and figure out how to destroy it, I'll distract Phoen." After saying this, he charged forward and attacked Phoen directly.
Braedon and Zan Fu immediately stood up and ran toward the altar when Phoen left its side in order to intercept Sun Wukong. Using only his feather, the strength of both of them was almost evenly matched with Sun Wukong even being slightly stronger. The only problem was that Phoen's strength was still increasing while Sun Wukong's would only diminish as the battle continued on.
The two entities crashed into each other several times as the forces of their attacks broke their surroundings.each blow caused the area to shake and tremble without end, but this didn't affect the two of them at all.
Meanwhile, Zan Fu and Braedon we're doing all they could think of to break the altar but nothing they did was working. Braedon slumped down after expensing all of his energy on one last attack, "Its useless. We are too wake to break this damn thing!" He gave off one last angry punch as he gritted his teeth is dismay.
Zan Fu also was low on power and he too was about to give up. But before that happened, a voice rang out in his head, "Use me..." Voice said these two cryptic words to Zan Fu in a strange and mysterious way. He didn't understand what Voice meant so Zan Fu asked, "What do you mean use you?"
"Zan Fu, I am the consciousness of a primordial dragon of the past. A being equal to that of even Phoen. In my current state I can use no power, but I am still technically a soul." Voice said this in a somber tone that began to give Zan Fu a worrying feeling, "So?"
"Absorb me Zan Fu, and use what power you gain to destroy the altar." After saying this Zan Fu kept silence for a good period of time. Despite his distrust and annoyance of Voice's existence, he had to admit that Voice had helped him put in many ways. From giving him several plans to try in battle to guiding his cultivation, Voice had become someone that Zan Fu couldn't imagine just suddenly disappearing one day. But he didn't reject the offer because he knew that this was truly the only way to win, "I-"

Determination exploded from Zan Fu as he nodded, "Okay!" After he said this, Zan Fu heard Voice give off a loud shout in his head as a mysterious power began to suddenly flow into his body. It wasn't "heaven's force" but instead it was the strange blue energy that Zan Fu had been exclusively using recently. With a quick shout, he felt his power rise several times over while his cultivation apparently remained the same. To explain, it was like someone in the first realm having strength equal to beings in the sixth realm.

With this strength flowing through his body, Zan Fu lifted up the claw into the air and slammed it down into the altar, completely obliterating it.
Phoen watched this happen helplessly as he couldn't reach the altar in time due to Su. Wukong's interference. "NOOOO!" He shouted while reaching his arm out toward Zan Fu, "I was so close!" Phoen couldn't believe it, he was just a little bit away from awakening a new power that had never been seen before on earth. Sun Wukong noticed Phoen's reaction and knew that his assumption of what the altar was was correct.
It was the conduit that took in any souls that it could obtain and shoot it into Phoen's body.
Just then, something strange happened. A red light shined from the corpse of the secretary and it flew over to Phoen. Without anyone noticing it crashed into Phoen's back and slowly entered into his aura.
This surprised everyone at the scene, including Phoen himself, and he tried to figure out what just happened to him. He didn't need to think for long as his question was soon answered thanks to the information that was suddenly loaded into his brain. With this info, he understood what happened.
To put it simply, the secretary's true final act was to shoot her soul into Phoen and allow him to absorb it. It was her way of repaying him for something he did for her in the past. A smile began to form across Phoen's mouth, who knew that some random person, who he chose to save in the past from some lustful men, to test his strength would prove to be so useful. The strength of a soul at the secretary's level was all he needed left I order to complete his original objective.
The aura around Phoen began to condense on his hand, the right having a light blue glow while the left had a sinister red glow. Sun Wukong, who was still in shock from what happened, suddenly notice the left hand get pointed toward him.
With a grin, Phoen screamed out, {Hell's Flame} as a burst of red shot directly through Sun Wukong's chest. The armor didn't protect him at all as the flame burned a gaping hole inside of him.
Braedon screamed out when he saw this, "Kai Jun!" As he ran forward and caught the falling body of Sun Wukong. Phoen just stood there laughing as he waved his hand around and turned to Zan Fu, "So, are you next?"

He swung his feather around at the exact same time the three friends split up in order to avoid his attack. Although he missed hitting his targets, his swing gave him the opportunity to launch a few more fireballs. Zan Fu and Kai Jun quickly raised up their arms in order to protect themselves, but Braedon was caught by surprise and had one of the balls slam into his chest. The force of the impact caused him to crash into the altar behind him. Kai Jun and Zan Fu both landed softly onto their feet after blocking the attack. Zan Fu looked over at where Braedon landed with panic in his eyes while Kai Jun looked at Phoen in confusion, "Something's not right..." Zan Fu turned to Kai Jun and said, "Of course something isn't right. He's kicking our asses!" Kai Jun shook his head, "No, it's not that. His aura is rising rapidly." Kai Jun's words caught Zan Fu's attention, "What do you mean?" "When we first saw him, his aura was very weak, almost similar to that of mortals. After leaving his cauldron however, his power have been on the rise without any sign of stopping. This rapid improvement would only make sense if he absorbed a large amount of souls, like he is currently planning to do, but there hasn't been enough time for him to truly take in and integrate all that power in his body." Kai Jun said all of this in a way that allowed Zan Fu to know that something was up. "So you're saying that something is feeding power into him?" Zan Fu could not believe what he was hearing, but the possibility was there. There was nothing that Kai Jun could think of that would improve Phoen's strength so much, in such a short span of time. But if they could find it and destroy it, then their chances of winning would increase. While Kai Jun was saying this to Zan Fu, Braedon was trying to pull himself up by using the altar. While trying to lift himself up, his arm suddenly went numb as something strange flowed up his arm. Whatever it was, it helped the wounds on Braedon heal up until there was not a single scratch on him. Looking down at his arm, a sudden thought appeared in his mind as he activated his {Eyes of Heaven and Earth}. It was just as he thought. After looking at Phoen then at the altar, Braedon noticed that a thin stream of what appeared to be red water was flowing into Phoen's body. The energy was feeding itself into his aura and it was strengthening Phoen's body at an exceptional pace. Looking down at his own arm, Braedon also noticed that a tiny thread of the stream was now connected to his own body. While he didn't know what it was, he knew that Phoen's strength was thanks to this. "Guys! The source of Phoen's strength is this altar, we need to destroy it!" Braedon screamed this while slamming the feather down into the strange table. His attack ricocheted off without even leaving a scratch. When Kai Jun and Zan Fu heard Braedon's words, they turned and nodded at each other before completely ignoring Phoen and charging at the altar. Phoen's head shot over to Braedon's direction and he released a roar while charging to where Braedon stood. He arrived at the altar before Kai Jun and Zan Fu were able to. While there, he kicked Braedon away from his power source and shot a blade beam towards the other two. The kick somehow knocked Braedon into Zan Fu and Kai Jun, which actually allowed them to dodge the blade beam which flew over their heads. Kai Jun pushed Braedon off of him and hopped into his feet. From the look of things, Phoen really cared a lot about his little table, and the panic on his face told Kai Jun that there was more than meets the eyes. After thinking about it for a few seconds, a thought popped into Kai Jun's head. With this thought in mind, he held out his arms in front of Zan Fu and Braedon. "Wait... let me handle this." Kai Jun's words surprised Braedon a bit as he responded, "You're going to fight him alone? He defeated all of us together, so how are you going to beat him by yourself." "Because unlike you, I'm not technically giving it my all." Braedon has no retorts for Kai Jun's words, so he decided to just nod and take a step back. Zan Fu was looking at the two of them cluelessly and was about to ask what was happening until Braedon reached his arm out and began to drag him back. Kai Jun pulled out the golden circlet once more and slapped it onto his head. He turned to the two boys behind him and said, "I think it's time to reveal my identity..." before Kai Jun could say who he was, Braedon spouted our, "You're the real Sun Wukong, The Monkey King, right? Yeah, we already know" His words made Kai Jun choke on the words that were about to pop out of his mouth. He looked down at Braedon and screamed out, "How!" Zan Fu shrugged and said, "We connected the dots. You haven't really been hiding it and after Braedon and I talked about it, the answer seemed kind of obvious." Braedon, "You have 72 orbs that 'transforms' you into different things, you technically battled against heaven just like in the legends, your strange interest in the golden circlet which looks like the well known crown, your hatred of other people using your name to do dumb stuff, and your dislike of human refinement since people tried to refine you in the past." Zan Fu, "Don't forget about his flaming eyes." Braedon slapped his forehead in realization, "Oh yeah, those too!" Kai Jun thought back to all of his actions and realized that they did kind of give some hints on who he was. After giving off a sigh, he nodded to them. "Yes, I am Sun Wukong. And right now, you're about to see my true power. {All Restrictions Release}!" Suddenly Kai Jun shined with a blinding radiance that forced Zan Fu and Braedon to look away from him for a few seconds. Phoen smirked at the transformation as he began to undergo a form change of his own. An armor, similar to the one that Braedon wore when they all fought against the club boss, formed Phoen's body except its colors were inverted. After the glow died down, Kai Jun stood there with his bare chest out in the open while the circlet wrapped itself tightly against his head. He turned to Zan Fu and winked at him while holding his arm out, "I think I'll be taking this back." Zan Fu felt something shift under his clothing as he looked down and found the armor on his chest was melting off and moving toward Kai Jun. A bit further away, Shu Rong looked down at her scarf as it melted off her neck and fly towards Kai Jun as if it was magnetized to him. The armor began to reshape itself midair and what appeared on Kai Jun, no, Sun Wukong was a set of plated armor that covered his entire body somehow. It also includes a cap with two large red feathers sticking out of it. The orbs surrounding Sun Wukong merged into the armor, giving it a bright shining glow. Afterwords, Sun Wukong reached into his ear and pulled a tiny stick out of it. With a single swing of the stock, it grew into a large, smooth, and gray staff. He looked down at the weapon in his hands and gave off a nostalgic expression, "Good to see you again old friend." He turned over to Braedon and said, "You and Zan Fu head towards that altar and figure out how to destroy it, I'll distract Phoen." After saying this, he charged forward and attacked Phoen directly. Braedon and Zan Fu immediately stood up and ran toward the altar when Phoen left its side in order to intercept Sun Wukong. Using only his feather, the strength of both of them was almost evenly matched with Sun Wukong even being slightly stronger. The only problem was that Phoen's strength was still increasing while Sun Wukong's would only diminish as the battle continued on. The two entities crashed into each other several times as the forces of their attacks broke their surroundings.each blow caused the area to shake and tremble without end, but this didn't affect the two of them at all. Meanwhile, Zan Fu and Braedon we're doing all they could think of to break the altar but nothing they did was working. Braedon slumped down after expensing all of his energy on one last attack, "Its useless. We are too wake to break this damn thing!" He gave off one last angry punch as he gritted his teeth is dismay. Zan Fu also was low on power and he too was about to give up. But before that happened, a voice rang out in his head, "Use me..." Voice said these two cryptic words to Zan Fu in a strange and mysterious way. He didn't understand what Voice meant so Zan Fu asked, "What do you mean use you?" "Zan Fu, I am the consciousness of a primordial dragon of the past. A being equal to that of even Phoen. In my current state I can use no power, but I am still technically a soul." Voice said this in a somber tone that began to give Zan Fu a worrying feeling, "So?" "Absorb me Zan Fu, and use what power you gain to destroy the altar." After saying this Zan Fu kept silence for a good period of time. Despite his distrust and annoyance of Voice's existence, he had to admit that Voice had helped him put in many ways. From giving him several plans to try in battle to guiding his cultivation, Voice had become someone that Zan Fu couldn't imagine just suddenly disappearing one day. But he didn't reject the offer because he knew that this was truly the only way to win, "I-" "Do it Zan Fu, before it's too late." Determination exploded from Zan Fu as he nodded, "Okay!" After he said this, Zan Fu heard Voice give off a loud shout in his head as a mysterious power began to suddenly flow into his body. It wasn't "heaven's force" but instead it was the strange blue energy that Zan Fu had been exclusively using recently. With a quick shout, he felt his power rise several times over while his cultivation apparently remained the same. To explain, it was like someone in the first realm having strength equal to beings in the sixth realm. Zan Fu's power increase felt like this simply because he couldn't measure his power the way people who used "heaven's force" usually did. This was because the power correlation was different. But if Zan Fu had to say how strong he currently was, he would have to say that he was probably almost to the eighth realm. With this strength flowing through his body, Zan Fu lifted up the claw into the air and slammed it down into the altar, completely obliterating it. Phoen watched this happen helplessly as he couldn't reach the altar in time due to Su. Wukong's interference. "NOOOO!" He shouted while reaching his arm out toward Zan Fu, "I was so close!" Phoen couldn't believe it, he was just a little bit away from awakening a new power that had never been seen before on earth. Sun Wukong noticed Phoen's reaction and knew that his assumption of what the altar was was correct. It was the conduit that took in any souls that it could obtain and shoot it into Phoen's body. Just then, something strange happened. A red light shined from the corpse of the secretary and it flew over to Phoen. Without anyone noticing it crashed into Phoen's back and slowly entered into his aura. This surprised everyone at the scene, including Phoen himself, and he tried to figure out what just happened to him. He didn't need to think for long as his question was soon answered thanks to the information that was suddenly loaded into his brain. With this info, he understood what happened. To put it simply, the secretary's true final act was to shoot her soul into Phoen and allow him to absorb it. It was her way of repaying him for something he did for her in the past. A smile began to form across Phoen's mouth, who knew that some random person, who he chose to save in the past from some lustful men, to test his strength would prove to be so useful. The strength of a soul at the secretary's level was all he needed left I order to complete his original objective. The aura around Phoen began to condense on his hand, the right having a light blue glow while the left had a sinister red glow. Sun Wukong, who was still in shock from what happened, suddenly notice the left hand get pointed toward him. With a grin, Phoen screamed out, {Hell's Flame} as a burst of red shot directly through Sun Wukong's chest. The armor didn't protect him at all as the flame burned a gaping hole inside of him. Braedon screamed out when he saw this, "Kai Jun!" As he ran forward and caught the falling body of Sun Wukong. Phoen just stood there laughing as he waved his hand around and turned to Zan Fu, "So, are you next?"
