As Jiang Fei stood on the balcony of a tower near the teleportation point, he was able to hear loud continuous explosions.
“Damn. I’ve never seen a battle like this. They are using Seal Curse Spells like there’s no tomorrow!” Little Rain murmured.
At this point of time, players from various guilds were having a tough time. Even Empyreal Dragon’s main group of players were being pushed back by their enemies. They were equally powerless against the strong Seal Curse Spells.
Although most of the players had progressed quite a lot in the game and had reached higher levels with better equipment, tens of thousands of players would still lose nearly all of their Health Points from being struck by a single Seal Curse Spell. Before these players could even replenish their Health Points, the second wave of Seal Curse Spells would have already arrived.
“Why aren’t the NPC armies taking any action? If this goes on, we won’t even have time to revive!” Lady Casanova complained next to Jiang Fei.
Although players would not lose Experience points in the Faction Region, they still needed time to revive in the city and collect new equipment before returning to the battlefield.
It was during this period that the Cultist army pushed forward. From the looks of things, they were getting very close to the teleportation point.
“We can’t let them get any closer!” Jiang Fei frowned. Although he did not know how strong the defenses were at the teleportation point, Jiang Fei did not want to take the risk as there were thousands of Overlord bosses in the enemy camp.
“Alright, I’ll try to stop them!” Jiang Fei did not seem too confident. He was worried that he might not be able to kill all of the enemies by the time his transformation had ended.

As a pink mist surrounded Jiang Fei’s body, he once again transformed into his Demon form.
After the transformation, Jiang Fei charged toward the Cultist army with his clones.
Very soon, the Cultist army became affected by the Unholy Domain and began attacking each other instead of advancing against the teleportation point.
Although these Cultists were very slow at killing each other, they were at the very least blocking the way of the larger armies behind them. As such, the players were able to finally take a break.
“Release! Spread out!” Jiang Fei gave orders to the Soulcutter which instantly ungrouped and began pursuing the Overlord bosses. After all, the Overlord bosses were the ones dealing significant damage to other players.
Among the top ranking players, less than one in a thousand had achieved the Overlord status. Most of these players were melee class, skilled in solo fights. Apart from that, the Magician class Challenge Quests were far too difficult for most players. Therefore, the players faced a significantly greater disadvantage against the Seal Curse Spells of their opponents.
Jiang Fei knew that he would not be able to kill all of the Cultists. In order to relieve the burden on the players, he would try his best to kill the Cultist bosses that possessed Seal Curse Spells. As such, the losses faced by players would become much lesser.
In the blink of an eye, an hour had gone by. Although Jiang Fei was focused on killing his enemies, he had forgotten this was part of the storyline. The more monsters he killed, the faster the system would respawn them. Therefore, by the time Jiang Fei’s transformation had ended, there were still swarms of Cultists all over the map. However, Jiang Fei did manage to reduce the number of Overlord bosses.
After Jiang Fei’s transformation state had ended, he became much less efficient in killing his enemies. The Cultists once again forced the players to back away toward the teleportation point.

Right then, a loud drumming sound could be heard in the clouds.

Beams of light rays began to rain down from the sky.
“They’re finally here!” Jiang Fei sighed in relief. The army from the High Human’s Heavenly Court had finally arrived under the leadership of Ou Yezi.

Dozens of Celestial bosses were the first to arrive. With Zhao Sheng, one of the Four Sages of the Heavens, leading this group of bosses, they began casting Seal Curse Spells at the Cultist army.
Needless to say, the Celestial bosses’ Seal Curse Spells were much more powerful than the Overlord bosses’. In no time at all, millions of Cultists were decimated. Thereafter, tens of thousands of soldiers from the High Human’s Heavenly Court arrived. These soldiers seemed equally intimidating as even the weaker soldiers were at the Overlord rank. As they charged into the army of Cultists, their opponents were very quickly killed off in large numbers.
“Whew… This is the end, isn’t it?” Seven Stars Warrior sighed in relief as he saw that the situation had turned around drastically.
“Yeah, I think we’ll be fine now!” Lady Casanova felt equally relieved as she dropped the mace in her hand.
In actual fact, Jiang Fei did not know that there was a trigger in the storyline. As long as the Cultist army got close enough to the teleportation point, the High Human’s Heavenly Court would arrive with backup. Had Jiang Fei not lashed out, the storyline would have progressed much faster. Perhaps, the players would have even entered the Celestial Realm by now.
However, Jiang Fei was completely unaware of this wicked setup. He believed that if he did not put his life on the line, the teleportation point might have been destroyed. By then, all his efforts in the Celestial Realm would have been a waste.
After the players had observed the thirty-minute battle between the NPCs, the Cultist army was finally annihilated by Ou Yezi’s High Human Heavenly Court soldiers. Thereafter, Ou Yezi gave a speech and even commended Jiang Fei for his contributions. As he did so, a bright golden light flashed and the teleportation point was officially activated.
When the golden light had disappeared, the area around the teleportation point appeared to have changed drastically. The various defensive buildings around it had disappeared and were instead replaced with amenities such as a Blacksmith’s workshop, a Potion shop, and several other buildings players would need. Clearly, this had become the stronghold to fight against the Celestial Realm.
“Ding! The new map Ancient Celestial Realm has been unlocked! All players above Level 85, you may receive guided quests at the teleportation point!”
A system notification could be heard by all players. It marked the official launch of the Ancient Celestial Realm. At the same time, it meant the War of the Heavens had officially entered the counterattack phase.
