It was akin to a broadcast signal to let everyone in the world to know about the egg and tempt them to eat it!
As soon as the egg was out, Jiang Fei could feel many powerful surges of energy that was coming in from elsewhere. Without even needing to ask, Jiang Fei knew that those surges of energy belonged to other nearby Level 5 Metahumans.
It was uncanny. They were floating right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean yet the energy that the egg was giving off could spread out to cover almost half of the entire planet. It would not be odd to think that someone else had already picked up the scent.
“Sheesh! No wonder he wanted me to take care of it! This thing is literally a beacon!” Jiang Fei thought whilst sighing heavily.
“Master Zhuge, my life is in your hands now…” said Beowulf before bowing one last time. Jiang Fei could sense the life force in Beowulf was reaching its absolute limit.

Those were the last words of Beowulf before his body crumbles into dust.

“Lockwood, surely you would not be drawn in by that canine sense of smell?” said the golden-armored Mordred. After greeting one another, all three Level 5 Metahuman turned to Jiang Fei, which prompted Jiang Fei to quickly introduce himself.
“Peace be all of us. This one is called Zhuge Shanzhen. To what do this one owe the pleasure?” said Jiang Fei, slowly and calmly.

All three of them were stunned. They came here to take the egg, no matter who they were going to fight with, even when they saw Jiang Fei and Isabella, they would not give up the egg without a fight. He had even have 0542 to create a force field around Jiang Fei that could absorb all incoming energy that was meant to pry Jiang Fei’s being.
