After taking her usual morning bath, Noona dressed into a cowgirl outfit then summoned a guard. She mimicked the weird accent, though Leo always gave her funny looks. Everyone's a critic.

"What's the status on Leo, boy," Noona said, arms folded. She didn't approve of tobacco products, so vowing to be the pure cowgirl came naturally. No disgusting spitting. Even thinking about it was gross. "I'se told you to go over yonder and takes a peek yesterday, but no one reported. You should always report to the sheriff, boy."

The guard stop widening his eyes long enough to reply.

"My lady we tried, but no one could find him. Not even our sources. We checked the cult just in case, but nothing…except the disturbing possibility of crusader involvement."

Noona paled.

"Leo…when we find him, we'll throw him another birthday party. No one should…no one should miss their own party." She sighed. "Crusaders…and I reckon po' Leo could be anywhere. I want the guards doubled, boy. Ya hear me? Get on it. In the meantime, I reckon I will change into my newest outfit."

The guard scurried off. Noona motioned for her personal maid to shut the door. The maid blushed as she watched her demon lord strip to bra and panties. What would she give to have breasts and a figure like that, while eating junk food nearly nonstop. The cooks had to come up with creative ways to disguise healthy meals.

Noona dressed in a white designer shirt with a short skirt to match the color. No point of wearing any elaborate dresses, not to be a duelist. Someone who fought for their friends. Not that she had any. She wouldn't let that discourage her.

She sat on a stool. The maid walked over to work on her hair. Mostly straight, but with two small drill-trails to drape in front of her shoulders.

"My lady, please be safe," the maid said after she finished her hair. Noona smiled.

"Of course," she said then pulled the blushing maid into a hug. "Keep up the good work. And if you need anything, just let me know."

The maid bowed when she was released.

"I'll be fine as long as you keep smiling, my lady."

- Trust Bond Skill Mimic. Type: mystic. Class: very rare. Once per day, you will be able to randomly activate a skill from any of trusted friends. -Summon Mist: Type: water. Class: uncommon. summon a thick mist that can cover an area the size of a small town. You and your allies will be able to see 40% better than any enemies. Warning, this is useless against enemies that do not rely on vision.

Why did he purchase the harp…? Well, his other choices were awful or downright weird. How many pounds of Viagra was concentrated in the Infinite Erection Drink? Mysteries for later.

It was at last time to commence the raid. Clyde and the party woke early, ate breakfast, and stretched. They made sure everyone's gear was up to par. The young man tried to convince Kitome to make some things for everyone, but she refused.

"I'm not a miracle," she said. "I can't think of anything on the spot."

Clyde nodded.

"It was worth a try." He smiled. Kitome gave him a playful light punch in the arm. They were off to the side.

"Besides, my crafting 'services' are only limited to you." She lowered her voice to a whisper. "And they require lots of love. Which we must make." She kissed him. Clyde laughed.

"A fair price," he said. "You drive one hell of a bargain."

Kitome's blush still remained.

"You're making me say embarrassing things." She covered her face. Clyde waited until she moved her hands then kissed her. If time permitted, the duo would've snuck to either the young man's room or the back for…comforting.

Instead, he split everyone into teams—those who would take out the remaining magic circles, the main force, and the secondary wave. Clare and the magical girls would take another path, clearing out any enemies in sight. They'd detain anyone non-resistant. Anyone else were to be killed.

The fact still remained was that they devoured humans on a nightly basis, let the minotaurs run rampant, as well as a crazy cult, and attracted crusaders. The holy warriors were still scummy assholes that Clyde planned to deal with, but also fought for the side of humans.

"Neko stay behind with Hinako—"

"Nyaa—no can do," she said, interrupting the young man. "Also, did I tell you of the Omen's sphere?"

"Alright then, Hinako you'll have to play the waiting game," Clyde said.

The professor stared blankly. She marched up to him, grabbing the young man by the arm.

"You didn't spend any time with me," she said after pulling him around the corner.

"I warned you, didn't I?" Clyde said. "Despite that, you've been a big help, gathering so much intel. It's not about combat."

"That's not the point," Hinako said then pulled Clyde in for a kiss. "I honestly don't care about you running what looks to be some kind of harem, but don't ignore me."

"Who could ignore you?" Clyde said after giving Hinako a quick once-over.

"I'll cut you some slack this time," Hinako said. "And thank you…for what you're doing for these people. I don't know much about demon lords and their intentions, but you really sound like some kind of hero out of a story. Saving people from the hungry monsters."

Clyde shrugged.

"I don't know about that. Anyway, let's get back to the others. We've got a time crunch."

"Move out," Clyde said flatly. He placed his hand on Clare's shoulder. "Good luck. We're counting on you."

Clare smiled.

"Thanks."

"Just a head's up," Tear said. "My succubus network just told me that the guards in the skyscraper and around the magical circles have doubled. They've also discovered the disabled one, but Nattie shattered it really good."

"Saw that one coming," Clyde said. "By the way, what's the progress on your newest recruit? That dark priest chick?"

"Saki is doing well, actually," Tear said. "She was a bit of a pain in the ass at first, but the girls taught her well."

Clyde nodded then set the teams out. It was raiding time.

[Objectives: 1. Deactivate the demon lord's barrier. 2. End the demon lord's reign. 3. Secure the Omen's sphere.]

Why didn't this feel quite right? The young man wondered if he could get a word in to the demon lord…Forget about them being demons and just talk. He kept picturing that peaceful expression. Was the missing human thing really on her? Well, with the raid in session and the system demanding blood—just like it did for Natalia—he'd have to come up with a secret plan.

"Alice." He gave her an innocent smile.

"Love, I don't like that look. What are you planning?" Alice said.

"I have a task for you," he said. "After all, you and this Necro have quite a bit in common." His life mate's eyes widened. There was a gleam in Clyde's eyes. "I'm counting you on, my heart." He kissed Alice.
