Before Skylar could react, she saw Karly was now next to Reign and she looked drunk.
"New girl you should just go to hell." Karly said as she nudged at Reign. "I want to dance."
Reign took her hand and lead her to the dance floor and they started to dance together, which left Skylar puzzled.
She couldn't believe that he had done that and just left. Lola came to her side,
"What the hell?" said Lola.
"Let's get some shots." Skylar responded not wanting to think about it now.
"Okay." Lola said, and they went to the bar and got some shots. Skylar wasn't going to let Reign ruin this for her. When they had doused down the shots, they went back to the dance floor. Skylar felt hands go around her waist and she turned around to make sure it wasn't Reign.
It wasn't, and she saw a cute guy with curly hair. She put her arms around him and saw Lola who was also dancing with a guy, Lola gave her a thumbs up and she smiled at her.
Skylar danced more, and she encountered Reign's gaze which was glued onto her and had an unapproving look. She felt very uncomfortable, after a couple of songs she stopped dancing for a breather.
Skylar saw Reign talking with a group of his school friends, Jessie was also there and the girls where nowhere in sight and she took the opportunity. She walked up to the table and they all turned to her and she saw Jessie smiling at the sight of her.
Skylar took a deep breath, "Reign may I please talk to you."
Everyone at the table looked surprised, "Sure." Reign said.
"In private."
"This way." Reign said.
Before Skylar walked out, she saw that Jessie looked hurt. She pushed it back, now was not the time to think about how he felt and went with Reign outside. The fresh air was refreshing, and they walked down the road where there wasn't much loud music blaring.
Reign leaned against the wall and looked at her. "What's up?" he asked.
"Why did you dance with me?"
"Because I wanted to." Reign replied.
Skylar was shocked at his answer. "Because you wanted to?"
"Yes just as I said." He shrugs.
"Wow you really are something." Skylar said, and she was at a loss.
"Why are you acting like you didn't enjoy it?"
"I didn't know that I was dancing with you!"
"What difference does it make Skylar."
"It makes all the difference because you have a girlfriend and if she finds out."
"Then what?" Reign said as he didn't seem affected by Karly finding out.
Skylar felt as if this conversation wasn't going anywhere.
"Fine why did you do it then?"
"If I want someone or something, I go get it." Reign said, looking at her directly.
Skylar's eyes widened, "Even if you want something, you have to understand that sometimes it's not available and you have to settle for what you have."
"Never, I don't settle." Reign moved closer to her. "I want what I want."
She took a step back, "Leo is waiting for me."
"Who the hell is that?" Reign said.
"It is the guy I just met."
"You mean the bastard that you were dancing with?" As his jaw clenched.
"Don't call him that. You don't even know him."
"Neither do you Skylar!"
"What does it matter to you? It's non-of your business as to what I do."
Reign stepped closer to her, "I want you and as I said before what I want, I will get."
"Well this time you aren't going to get it."
"Will see." He challenged her.
Reign's phone rang and when she saw his facial expression, she knew that it was Karly who was calling him. He answered the phone. He exchanged a few words with her and he hung up.
Reign sighed, "I have to go."
"obviously you do and one more thing leave me alone."
"I will not do such a thing." He said.
"You are so greedy, you know. I just don't understand what more you want from me."
"I want everything that you have to offer."
Skylar looked at him squarely, "Well that would be nothing, go take what you can from your girlfriend not me."
"It's not her that I want."
"You should just go Reign, she is waiting for and this adds suspicion if we are both not there or if she finds out."
Before he can protest his phone rings. He looks down, and he sighs.
Reign moves quickly in front her and he places a peck on her lips. Skylar looks up and she wants to yell at him, but he is already heading back. He disappears within seconds and she is left feeling a bit puzzled.
Skylar touches her lips a bit and shakes her head. She was exasperated at his actions and she would think about it a bit more when she arrived at home, at the moment she felt as she had resolved nothing with him.
She decides to wait a bit so that they wouldn't be trouble and she becomes worried at the thought that Reign's friends might tell Karly that she asked to talk to him in private and that they left together. Skylar pushes the thought far, if they had told her she would have come looking for them by now, but she hadn't.
After ten minutes she decided to make her way back, and she walked in looking around to see where Lola was, but she was met with Jessie's eyes which almost felt like they had been searching for her all along.
She broke away from his gaze and resumed looking for Lola and she found her. Skylar waived at her and she saw her make her way to her.
"Where have you been?" Lola said.
"I was outside."
"Why were you outside?"
"I will tell you later Lola."
Skylar made a sweep through the room, but she couldn't find Reign which meant that he had gone with Karly which made her a bit uneasy.
"Who are you looking for?" said Lola.
"No-one."
"I don't buy it."
"I will tell you later about everything."
"Promise." Lola said.
"I promise."
She and Lola danced a some more and when they were tired, they decided to call it a night.
