Monday came, and Skylar didn't know how she would deal with Reign. She was going to give him a piece of her mind.
She got to Lola's house and told her everything that had happened at the party.
Lola screamed. "You kissed Reign again." She laughed.
"Not really. He kissed me by surprise. So technically, it's all his fault."
They got to school, and she went to science. She was early.
Skylar took out her books and put them on the table. Her heart jumped when she saw Reign coming in.
"I knew you would be in here. It's in your DNA to be class."
Reign sat where Tyler usually sits.
"Are you ignoring me now Sky?" he bought his face close to hers. Skylar leaned back.
"If you talk to me. I will stop." Said Reign.
"Fine, stop."
Reign draws back, and he looks at her. "Why are you upset with me?"
"You know why!"
"No I don't." Reign insisted.
"Why would you kiss me, when you very well know that I don't like it."
"Why are you so upset?" Reign said.
"It didn't mean anything to you."
Reign's eyebrows go up. "Did it mean a lot to you?"
"Of course not."
"Why did you deny that we kissed then?"
Skylar couldn't answer that question. "Can you just go and sit on your seat."
"No. I like sitting with you."
Her emotions burst, "I am not going to be your mistress, or side chick Reign!"
"I didn't say you should be." He replied.
"Then why are you bothering me. When you have a girlfriend on top of that."
"I only want you."
"Stop it, with your bullshit Reign!"
"I will leave her."
"What?"
"I said I will leave her. You won't be on the side."
Skylar looked at him and he seemed genuine, but she couldn't really take him for his word.
"That's not what I meant."
"Its what I want." He replied.
"You can't, she really cares about you."
"She doesn't, to Karly I am more of a possession."
"Why would you say that?"
Reign took a deep breath, "I am not proud to say that, when I got with her, I was with other girls. She said she didn't care. Then one day she told everyone that we were dating."
"Oh, so girls stayed away from you?"
"Not, really. They wanted me more." He grinned.
"Good for you, since you have so many girls on your beck and call, you should go to them."
"Yes, they are but I want you Skylar."
Before she could respond Jessie walked in and he stood in front of them. He looked at them weirdly.
"Why are you two here?"
"Reign got in and he found me here." She answered quickly.
"Karly was looking for you man."
"Why?" Reign said.
"I don't know, but I told her you were probably late as per usual." Jessie said.
Reign just shrugs.
"What were you two talking about?" Jessie asks.
Reign turns to her, and he tilts his head. She couldn't believe that he wanted her to come up with an excuse.
"We were talking about grades."
"Really." Jessie said, but he didn't seem convinced.
"What about Friday night. Because Reign won't tell me anything, he said he swore secrecy to you."
"Well I don't remember much because I was drunk. Yeah."
"Are you two dating? Behind Karly's back."
This time they both answered in unison, "No."
"We aren't dating. We were just sorting out a few ground rules for English because I am tired of seeing them suck face."
Jessie laughed, "You should have just said so. Reign and Karly can really be annoying with their packed PDA."
"I know right."
"I'm right here guys." Reign said.
"We know, and the more the reason to." Jessie said.
More students got in, and Tyler finally arrived.
Reign got up, and he and Jessie went to their seats.
"Morning." Tyler said.
"Hey, Tyler. Where have you been?"
"Here and there." He replied.
"Okay."
"Did Lola talk about me." He asked.
"Yeah she did."
"Is she mad at me?"
"She is not that mad. I think you should talk to her and sort whatever it is that is going on between the two of you."
"I don't know." As he raked his hand through his hair.
"It's up to you two."
"Do you also not like me now?"
Skylar was a bit confused, "Why would I not like you?"
Tyler's eyes widened "Never-mind then. What have I missed whilst I was gone?"
"A lot of things. But you will catch up."
Tyler was really smart, so it would be easy for him to do so. The teacher got in and she turned to her work.
