Zhi Hei furrowed his brows, "Where are you hurt?" his voice sounded very serious and worried.
Shi xue slapped her forehead feeling that a storm is coming, "My shoulders suffered a few cuts. I have a few bruises on my body."
"Show me."
She blushed, "There's still people here! I'll show you when we get home."
He remained silent showing off an "I don't take 'no' as an answer" face. She quickly spotted where the bathroom was located and dragged him in there. After locking the door, she sighed and slowly took off her top. She was wearing a strapless bra and bandeau in place a tank top. His eyes narrowed as his hands touched the bandages on her shoulders.
"Does it still hurt?" his voice was filled with gentleness and pain.
"Not really. I rested really well the past few days so I'm recovering very fast."
'He frowned as he gave a gentle kiss onto her bandages. "I'll kill them" he held onto her hands tightly. She smiled and placed her hands onto his face while looking into his eyes deeply.
"The pain of missing you hurt more than this wound. The debt of causing this pain needs to be collected, but not by the cost of their lives. That's too easy on them."
Zhi Hei wrapped his arms around her slim waist as he kept the girl in his embrace. "Do whatever you feel is right. I'll support you in whatever you wish to do... as long as you're safe by my side.. anything is fine with me.Let's finish this with them once and for all, then head home and have Chen Mu check your wounds. I don't want a single scar on your body. Not even one dot."
Shi Xue chuckled and whispered, "Okay. I'll listen to you."
After hugging for a while, Zhi Hei took the waitress outfit that was brought for Shi Xue into the bathroom and helped her change into it. She obediently listened to his requests this time because she knew how painful it must've been for him to think that she was dead. She could still smell a slight scent of alcohol from him. While they were in the bathroom, Shi Xue also took this chance to fix the buttons for him. The buttons had been annoying her since she stepped into the room, but she didn't say anything.
Zhi Hei scratched his head as he chanted, "It's the new fashion."
"Uh huh..."
"It is."
"Mhmm.. sure darling, whatever you say." she giggled.
"Shen Qi's socks are different colors." he quickly changed the topic direction to someone else.
Shi Xue burst out in laughter, "You two are definitely silly ganders."
He lifted her chin and kissed her passionately, but gently. "This mouth of yours sure loves to tease. Let's have a taste of you shall we?"
"mmm!! My mom's out.. mmnnn.. there... n.."
He stopped the moment he heard her say 'mom'
'... I forgot that her mom was the one who saved them! I just totally.. totally ignored my mother in law and didn't even greet her! Holy shit... over over.. it'a done for. I'm definitely disqualified to be her son in law. And... I even requested to have her daughter strip in front of everyone... damn.... how do I face her...'
Shi Xue laughed after seeing his frustrated expression, "Relax! My mom is very open-minded. She wouldn't mind your late greetings and request for me to strip. Just greet her regularly!"
The moment the two of them walked out from the bathroom, everybody was chatting in their own space. Mother Huang and Qian Ling were enjoying the freshly brewed tea made by Father Huang. Shen Qi had Hui Yan remained in the same exact posture since 15 minutes ago.

Hui Yan complained that the couch was too hard to sit on and a certain someone quickly put her onto his lap as he sat down. "Better?" he asked.
"mm... your lap feels way more comfortable!" she smiled.
"Then, you can sit on me everyday."
"oh? so this spot is exclusively mine?" she rubbed his chin teasingly.
"No." he looked into her clear bright eyes.
She frowned from his response and was about to say something...
"I've been exclusively yours since the moment we've met." he continued.

Shi Xue regretted coming out of the bathroom this early. If she would've known that everyone would be doing their own things like this, then she would've took her sweet time with Zhi Hei in the bathroom.
Zhi Hei stroked her long black hair and whispered, "Do you want to head back in?"
She blushed and gave him a gentle push, "Not right now. let's go greet my mom."
When the two of them stood in front of the parents, everyone's attention focused on the couple.
"You're not going to ask for my daughter's hand in marriage right now.. are you?" Qian Ling asked.
"No, I'm here to greet you properly. Please excuse my behavior from earlier. I was too worried about Shi Xue that I focused all my attention on her."
Qian Ling gave a teasing smile, 'hehe, I'm happy to see my daughter found herself a good man. So so Zhi Hei, how was your bathroom session with my daughter hmm?"
Shi Xue blushed, "Mom! He was just checking my wound"
Qian Ling laughed "Sweetie, are you sure you two didn't kiss in there hmm? Or hug? Or anything else?~"
Shi Xue felt helpless towards her mother's teasing and looked at Zhi hei for help. Zhi Hei smiled handsomely, "The bathroom reunion was quite nice. We enjoyed each other's private time very much."
