As Shi Xue shivered and her body temperature gradually reduced every minute that passed, Zhi Hei frowned and a quick flash of pain occurred in his eyes. He turned on the heat and continuously rubbed her cold hands. He would whisper to her ears telling her help is coming and he won't let anything happen to her. He would change her clothes, but without knowing where she was hurt or in what position she could be touched, he didn't dare to act reckless no matter how much he wished to have her change to dry clothes. His eyes never left her pale figure who didn't open her eyes after calling for help. It seems like calling for help took all her strength away.
* Sigh * the area between Zhi Hei's brows tensed up revealing his deep worries for her. He wished for her to open her eyes and look at him with gentle warmth. He tightened his hands around hers as his eyes turned cold and solemn.
"SHEN QI! Three days. Find out what happened to her everything about her. Who did this to her and why. I'll see who dared to make her suffer like this... and return it million folds...." his king like aura and dominant voice rung Shen Qi's mind leaving him chills down the spine.
As if Zhi Hei's voice was a big loud and rough, it triggered the girl to move her fingers slightly and eyelashes began to flutter before she slowly opened her eyes halfway....
"How long before we reach shore?"
"..a..around 3 more minutes.. do you want the ambulance for the miss?"
"No, have Chen Mu come to me immediately after we reach shore, no delays allowed. I want her to live." as he felt the girl's slender fingers moved slightly, he quickly retracted and now his entire focus is on this weak girl in front of him.
"Shi Xue.. are you awake..?" the coldness from his voice from a second ago was along replaced by a touch of gentleness and joy seeing the girl react.
Just as he felt hopeful for her condition to improve.. she choked and a few mouthfuls of blood covered the bedsheets and pillowcases making Zhi Hei's face drain of color.
When Shi Xue's eyes opened, she only tasted the sweetness of the blood she spit out. She heard a familiar voice... a voice that made her relax and her gaze turned towards the source of the male voice. She weakly chanted "... Zhi.. Hei..?"
"Yes!! It's me. I'm here!! Doctor is coming hang in there!! Talk to me don't sleep okay??" for once in his life he was afraid of losing someone afraid that this girl would never wake up if she closes her eyes once again.
Even though her face had stains of fresh blood she gently smiled at him and said "If.. this is my last dream... then.. it is a wonderful.. gift.. " as she slowly drift back her consciousness and everything went dark.
"SHI XUE!!!!"
Heavy and hurried footsteps along with heavy breathing could be heard through the halls of the luxurious cruise. "DAMN IT WHY IS THIS PLACE SO DAMN BIG" Chen Mu complained as he fastened his pace after hearing Shen Qi's remarks of his master for once showed anxiety for a woman. All servants had a layer of cold sweat not daring to speak a word once Chen Mu arrived on board. As he reached the room, his wavy bed hair and unicorn pajamas with Kitten slippers became the spotlight of the room. He scratched his head as he yawned and glanced at the young master. As he began to complain "MY BEAU-...." he stopped and witnessed the ruthless master of the Huang family Zhi Hei who was known to be distant from women and is utterly disgusted by them is in CONTACT with one and not only that it is HIM who initiated....
As Chen Mu's eyes reached the girl laying on the bed deathly pale, he quickly ran over with his medical box and took her pulse. He focused on the girl's wounds and carefully inspected her head , limbs, torso and finally exhaled a deep sigh.
"How is she?" Zhi Hei asked with a touch of anxiety
*shakes head* "Her injuries are very severe as she suffered at least a mild concussion from her head injury, major blood loss, worst of all she was continuously kicked and beaten till her organs were damaged that she spit out blood, a high chance of internal bleeding. Weak pulse, and a fractured rib. The pain she's suffering right now is so intense that it is a miracle she's still breathing."
"Save her" the man's voice was cold and sharp not taking 'no' as an answer.
... my lord did I not just said it is a miracle for her to even be alive.. even though I'll help her with her injuries.. it still depends on how she reacts.. if she doesn't wake up... even I can't do anything... Of course.. these were thoughts in Chen Mu's head.
"I'll try my best" as he began treating her injuries.
