Mother Huang continued talking with Shi Xue non-stop that she forgot her own husband and son were also there. Shi Xue always listened to mother Huang carefully and responded when necessary. It wasn't until Zhi Hei's phone rang that they stopped and looked towards the direction of the call. Seeing that his call had interrupted such a loving family moment, he walked out of the room and retrieved the call.
Shen Qi: "Master, Xia Yu Rou's drug just wore off and is now in pain. She keeps calling your name."
Zhi Hei: "What about Xia Jing Lin?"

Seems like I have competition from now on... he thought to himself as he snickered with happiness. He patted his dad's shoulder and they both sighed seeing this peaceful scene. Shi Xue wanted to eat the fruits herself, but mother Huang insisted on feeding her.
mother Huang smiled brightly seeing Shi Xue eat everything she fed her. "You really remind me of my best friend, Xiao Ling"
Shi Xue: "hmm? I do?"
mother Huang: "mm, very alike. Your aura and the way you speak and care for others. Your face is similar as well. But unfortunately, she's no longer here." she sighed.

Shi Xue: "It's alright. I enjoyed listening to you since I don't have memories of my past, I don't even remember my parents. So listening to you makes me feel much better."
Mother and father Huang's eyes widened after she said that she had lost her memories. There was a moment of silence before mother Huang held Shi Xue's hands.

"When's your birthday?"

Mother Huang smiled warmly as she turned and looked at her husband with twinkling eyes filled with excitement.
"aunty, why are you asking me these questions?"
"Dear, you can just call me mother Huang. I wanted to know you a bit better so I asked those questions" she smiled happily as she patted Shi Xue's hands.
Zhi Hei also looked at his mom and dad with a confused look. It's rare for them to get this excited.
After feeding Shi Xue another cup of warm water, mother Huang told Shi Xue to rest a bit before they go back home. Shi Xue laid on the bed and closed her eyes to get a good rest. She was quite tired from talking for an hour nonstop after barely recovering her strength.
Zhi Hei was dragged to another room by his parents after Shi Xue fell into slumber.
Mother Huang asked excitedly: "SON! Tell me who Shi Xue is!"
Zhi Hei looked at his mother's expression with amusement "My wife."
Father Huang frowned at his son whose still joking "answer!"
Zhi Hei explained the whole situation of Shi Xue to the couple. After hearing about Shi corps and the experiences that Shi Xue had been through, the Huang couple sighed in relief that she is still alive and protected well by their son. Mother Huang was very emotional and teared up a few times listening to Shi Xue's past experiences.
Mother Huang clenched her fists "Those bastards dared to do such despicable shameful actions towards Shi Xue after her father died? Good thing, she forgot about these maggots!!"
Zhi Hei: "She may recover her memories in the future"
