Zhi Hei stood up and greeted President Mos: "Good morning, Congratulations on your contract today"
President Mos:"Thank you President Huang, It's truly a pity, your company was very close with Mr.Huang Shi Jie's bidding this time."
Zhi Hei smirked as he heard how President Mos greeted Shi Huang Jie with his whole name and not by the title of 'President Shi' "Yes, but I believe a better offer would come in the future for our company's to form partnership"
President Mos: "Hahaha! i like your optimistic idea! I promise I will definitely inform your company first when I have more projects in hand!"
Zhi Hei: "Then I'll thank you here first. We can have a toast later"
Shi Huang Jie, who was standing there like an idiot for the past two minutes was totally ignored by President Mos. He clenched his fist as he thought to himself, "THIS OLD BALD HEAD! TODAY IS OUR CONTRACT NOT HIS AND HUANG CORPS. WHY BOTHER SPEAKING TO HIM AND EVEN IF THERE ARE FUTURE PROJECTS, IT SHOULD BE HANDING IT TO ME!"
He calmed walked over to President Mos and greeted him. "good morning! President Mos, You look fairly well today!"
President Mos: "Good day, Mr.Shi, I look forward to the contract ceremony later. Your company bid the highest that's why you won the contract."
It was as if he was implying that it is only because Shi Huang Jie had a higher bidding that he had won the contract and not by his efforts or proposal that made him achieve this.
President Mos continued speaking to Zhi Hei until the ceremony began.
Shi Qi wing held in her fury as she witnessed Huang Zhi Hei grabbing the spotlight from them when they are the ones who are signing the contract. Ze Yang had to hold onto her arms to calm her down because he knew that before the contract is signed, nothing is officially set. That is also probably why Shi Huang Jie held his anger back from arguing with Huang Zhi Hei moments before. Shi Qi Wing normally had a decent EQ, but once her anger or emotions come through, it goes down to a negative.
After all guests arrived, the ceremony began.
President Mos: "I am honored and pleased to announce that our company will be working with Mr.Shi Huang Jie, for our upcoming year's project on our newfound machinery! Today, we invited all of you to witness the moment of our contract ceremony. After this, there will be drinks and food catered in the next room. Please enjoy yourselves!"
The guests clapped and cheered in congratulatory words as Shi Huang Jie walked up to the contract table and sat down. He used his private custom made pen and scribbled his signature on the contract. After that, President Mos signed his part of the contract. They answered some questions for the reporters before announcing that the food was ready to be served.
Shi Xue whispered: "Should I also eat?"
Zhi Hei: "If you like any of the foods in here, I'll get someone to buy it or make it for you when we get back, Don't take off your sunglasses or face mask while you're here." as he stroked her hair
She nodded gently and stayed by his side while others were busy chatting and settling down with food.
Many females kept their eyes on Zhi Hei and tried to approach him through this ceremony. They were all interested in this handsome single man who remained number 1 as the most wanted husband. His looks and intelligence really captivated many women. Except, today, he had a female companion who had a suspicious mask and sunglasses on. They couldn't see her face underneath nor ask her to take off all those accessories. All they could hope for is that she would eat or drink something so that they can see her take off her mask. On the very least, she would use the toilet.. right?
Their anticipation grew higher and higher as the ceremony almost came to an end.
Shi Qi Wing smirked and approached one of the females who had her eyes staring sharp towards Shi Xue.
Shi Qi Wing: "If you want to see what's underneath that mask and sunglasses so much, then why not accidentally spill something on her and bring her to the bathroom to help her wash it off?"
The girl's eyes widened and smiled "You're right!"
The girl saw that Zhi Hei was not looking at Shi Xue's direction for a minute and took this chance to rush into her, spilling her hot plate of food onto her shorts and some on her silky looking legs.
"AHHH!!!!" Shi Xue screamed in pain as she brushed the food off her leg. Hearing her sharp scream, Zhi Hei quickly turned around to see what was wrong with her. Before the girl could offer to help her clean up, he already picked Shi Xue up and placed her onto the nearest chair there is. He looked at her reddish colored skin, luckily the food had been out for a bit so it was warm and not extremely hot or else, it may leave a scar. He wet a cloth and cleaned her legs carefully twice. He moved her leg around and inspected to make sure that she was alright before sighing in relief.
Girl: "Umm.. It is my fault for accidentally pouring the food onto her. My hand slipped just now. Let me help and clean her in the bathroom. " she held her hands out trying to reach Shi Xue.
Before she could get even a step closer, she was stopped by a bodyguard.
"Scram." Zhi Hei's voice was furious and violent sounding.
The girl started to sob from his coldness, "It was really an accident! I didn't mean to! I just wanted to apologize and help her clean up!"
"Don't make me repeat myself. I already cleaned her up. No need for your help. You have 3 seconds."
The girl quickly grabbed her bag and ran out of the ceremony place. Others who were interested in the face underneath the mask were no longer having any thoughts after seeing what happened to that girl. If anything else happened, it'll be too much of a coincidence. They could only suck up their curiosity.
Shi Xue held onto Zhi Hei's hands and patted to indicate that she was alright.
