Father Huang held onto Mother Huang's weak body as they made their way to the bed.
Mother Huang: "S,,Shi Xue..."
Father Huang asked, "How is she??"
Chen Mu quickly snapped out of his daze as he took her pulse. He nodded before sighing in relief, "she managed to spit out the poison in her body. There may be more episodes of her coughing up blood, so we need to prepare a bucket and hot wet cloth for her. She's going to feel intense pain as the poisonous blood rushes up her throat." Zhi Hei was still shocked from the scene a moment ago...

Zhi Hei sat across from the bed as he observed Shi Xue's condition. There is approximately 2 hours left before the medicine runs out of effect. If there's no change in her behavior, then she would die. He took out a cloth and soaked it in hot water to wipe the sweat off her forehead. In the middle of wiping her forehead, her eyelashes fluttered rapidly.
His first reaction was joy, thinking that she is going to wake up after being in a coma.
He called for her name a few times: "Shi xue... Shi Xue..."
"W..wate...er.." she chanted with a dry throat. He quickly poured a cup of water for her to drink. The moment he turned around, his heart stopped. An excruciating pain crumbled his heart as the cup crashed onto the floor. He didn't even feel the pain of the cup falling onto his toes. Right when he turned around, he saw her spitting out mouthfuls and mouthfuls of blood. He dropped the cup and quickly went to wipe the blood that's flowing out of her mouth. He continuously chanted her name, but she didn't seem conscious. He begged for Chen Mu to quickly help her, but Chen Mu was also shocked because he had never encountered such symptoms after intaking the medicine....
Zhi Hei could only watch her as she spat out chunks and chunks of blood. It didn't take more than a minute for the stench and iron taste of the blood to fill the room. Even though this smell is very nauseating, Zhi Hei's eyes were focused on the pale girl in bed. The pillow and bedsheets by the edge of the bed were soaked and dyed with her dark red blood. His heart ached so much he felt that she had died in front of him. If she dies... I will follow... he stared at the girl intensely with anxiousness. When he saw that the girl was barely breathing, he finally felt the world is coming to an end. He wished he could cry out, but his voice wouldn't come out. He felt a lump in his throat and it was very heavy that he couldn't even open his mouth to call her name. He whispered countless times in his own head, her name, her everything... His hands felt the warmness of the blood on the cloth ...

Mother Huang almost lost all strength in her knees after hearing Chen Mu's diagnosis. Father Huang carried her to the nearby couch and placed her comfortably before asking Chen Mu what the whole situation is about. After Chen Mu's explanation, the Huang couple's face was so dark that it seemed like an bottomless pit. The Xia's!!!!!
Zhi Hei felt the coldness from his parent's area of the room. He had no mood to care for useless bastards yet, he needs to take care of Shi Xue. He was traumatized by the amount of blood she lost already. Chen Mu had long prepared a blood production and circulation medicine for her. Zhi Hei positioned himself so that she would be able to swallow the medicine in an angle where she wouldn't choke. The Huang couple stayed for a little while before leaving with Hui Yan and Shen Qi.
Before the couple left, Mother Huang whispered something to Shi Xue's ears that only Zhi Hei could hear.
"Please wake up soon. Mother Huang will have you enjoy a great extermination show and let you revenge however you wish. Child, we will all wait for you to wake up. I'll torture them while you're resting. wake up soon."
Zhi Hei felt relieved after hearing his mother's words. He knew his mother would understand why the Xia's and Shi's were still alive for a reason. Like mother, like son... great minds think alike.
After exiting the room,
Mother Huang:" Lao Huang, I just made a promise to Xue that I'll start the torture methods until she wakes up to watch the great show."
Father Huang held her shoulders and dotingly smiled, "As you wish. I already had someone take them downstairs to the party hall."
Mother Huang smirked, "That's where those bitches decided to scheme against our Xue. I'll see them at their graves."
Father Huang: "No need to see them at their graves. Their dirt would contaminate your shoes."
