Edward was driven up the wall by Anna's irritating attitude. He became even angrier when he took a glimpse at Mona's embarrassed face. Suddenly, and With no hesitation, he grabbed his cousin's arm and walked towards the exit. " If my cousin is not welcomed in your party, then we'll be both leaving "
Anna's mind went blank for a second and She could not think straight when she saw him leaving. She literally panicked and didn't know what to do. The stubborn and proud Anna had no other choice but to do what Edward said so that he doesn't leave.
She bit her lower lip in bitterness then bowed as she stepped closer to Mona in order to express her regret and to ask for forgiveness.

Mona on the other hand was stunned. Although she was hurt by Anna's harsh words, she could not but feel pity for her. Mona could easily tell that Anna was having a hard time apologizing because of her pride, so she helped her stand straight then gently smiled.

But Anna's pride was too hurt to act in her usual pretended and fake nice way.

" How can I do that when my Joleen is about to come "
