Sophie was chattering with the guests when she suddenly noticed Anna's irrational behavior of holding Edward's hand. She hesitated for a bit and then decided to interfere in order to stop her friend from making more embarrassing things. She dropped the social blending and approached Anna.
Anna stood still in her place. She wanted to leave the spot but her legs and body failed her. She felt completely helpless in the presence of Edward, but her self-confidence suddenly came back when she heard Sophie's voice.

Sophie walked upstairs towards a guests' room. Anna on the other hand was having a hard time deciding what to do.
