[ALARM]

CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE LEVELED UP FROM LEVEL 5 TO LEVEL 10 DUE TO DEFEATING THE RED SPIKED OOGLE

Gabriel stunned as he looked at the message which stood in front of him, but as soon as he read the message his eyes widened. He couldn't believe how fast he leveled up, wasn't it supposed to be hard leveling up? His mouth stood wide open until he mentally managed to form a question.

"Tigris, why did my level increase so dramatically?"

Tigris answered with his usual monotonic voice:

"As the message said it's due to you defeating the red spiked oogle which had a level five times as big as your level. In your world you are categorized as a rank C beast. "

"Isn't it supposed to be difficult to level up? And why didn't I level up after defeating the winged rhino?"

Gabriel was full of questions as he tried to not scream of both joy and confusion.

"It is true that you have leveled up dramatically in such a short time frame, however the difficulty in leveling up isn't super hard due to your recent awakening. It isn't big differences between the first fifteen levels, but you will most likely struggle to level up once you reach level fifteen. In the system of beasts the lizard you defeated was ranked as an A rank beast, and in the system as level 25. You were only able to kill it because of your abilities, not because of brute strength as most of the beasts rely on."

Gabriel interrupts Tigris before he could finish.

"So I'm a cheat and can defeat beings much stronger than myself?"

"Yes. It's most likely caused by you being able to leach of the system. And to answer your second question, the reason for not leveling up when you were a tiger are because the tiger has a higher level than you and you can't even control it. So you will not be able to gain anything in your tiger form until you reach the same level as the tiger"

[Status]

Name: Gabriel Warran Level: 10

HP: 1200

MP: 250

Strength: 11 Vitality: 10

Agility: 16 Sense: 7

Endurance: 7 Intelligence: 25

Stat points: 17

Gabriel stared at the stat points which were ready to be distributed. The dark forest surrounding him were layered as if it was a blanket, but instead of keeping him warm it made him shiver. His bloody clothing were showing of parts of Gabriel's body since he had grew out of them. He was now, two months after his awakening towering 191 centimeters tall. His body had become quite muscular and was much more toned than his former pot belly.

-WOW! I must have at least got 9 more stat points since I last checked. I feel an urge to use them, but which abilities are the most important to level up for now?-

Gabriel sat cross legged on top of an old log filled with moss and with different kinds of mushrooms. The scar witch crossed his mouth complemented his appearance and his face had become more mature. He actually looked like a guy of his own age instead of a child.

The dark shadows lurking around him stood in contrast with the light cutting through the tree crowns. Rays of light hit him like a laser. He suddenly moved his lips to form some commanding sentences.

" Distribute 5 stat points into endurance, another 5 into strength and 4 into agility. Distribute the remaining points into sense." Gabriel had thought about how he could upgrade those different elements and which ones where more important for him at this moment. And it resulted in the following comment.

Gabriel stood up from where he had been sitting. The fire which had warmed him last night had lit out, it had been a huge risk to set a fire. Gabriel gazed down at his clothes and concluded that he needed to find new ones because of many different reasons.

[Endurance 7–>12]

[Strength 11–>16]

[Agility 16–>20]

[Sense 7–> 10]

"Well, I have some spare clothes in the forest near the Warran property, by it's risky with all its current guards" Gabriel mumbled.

However he decided to get his clothes from there, it was a huge area and that was something which lessened the chance of meeting his family's soldiers. The path leading towards the location of his spare clothes was a bit far, but he didn't mind because he could complete his daily task.
