A few years later I stand up in the morning and decide to do a morning run, before measuring my strength for the first time in three years. My body is way stronger now, the seals on my chest were lifted. More than half, to be honest. There is still one big circle around my heart.
The elders suggest that this one is not actually a physical one, but I'm not too sure. It looks right there, like it wasn't supposed to vanish. After a run of approximately twenty kilometers, just a warm up after all that training - I find the orb in the middle of the village.
What a clichée. As I get the elder to evaluate, the villagers come together to see. I touch the stone, and the gray light drowns every other color. The blue carpets on the market - gray. The hayroofs - gray. But there is no screeching this time. As I want to take my hand off the crystal, I pull out a sword.
What? I look at the runes and read them. Guidance of Happiness. Oh that is the feeling I have. Pride, achievement. Family. Happiness. My eyes are very close to drop a few tears, but I can stop myself barely. This entire village was my family now.
The elder looks at me, with proud eyes.
E:" Boy, no matter who your father was, now it is me. And my son has 127 points, and with that, he has now entered the sorcerers levels."
The village cheers. I lift the sword up, and scream. This would be the starting shot, the war has now started. Me going back to the kingdom is just to gather allies and my older brother.
I can't just kill Christian, he protected me such a long time. He is very talented in ice and fire magic, with him we can rescue my mother. Finally bring her back.
As I leave the village, with nothing but clothes and knowledge, I notice a tight feeling in my chest. I miss them, damn I didn't even completely leave yet!
On my way I kill a few goblins, as they were attacking a carriage and they let me join them on their ride. For free! Well, I pay enough with my patronage after all.
They seem to be elves, but they have disguises on, just like I do. I got quite good at seeing through disguises, but theirs are really well made. I suppose they are here for our assistance, so I see no need to confront them with it.
As soon as we pass the gate I thank them and jump off, take my disguise of and deman guidance to the castle from a guard. He speaks fast and excited, but still guides me in the end.
The castle was even darker and uncomfortable than I remembered. I enter and greet everyone. Quite a nice feeling if everyone get happier if they see you.
The first one that comes to see me is my brother, who else. He hugs me and we talk about where I was. He already knew of that village, just as he knew on which side he was in this war.

We walk up the stairs together and we go to meet our mother. She was not leaving her room for quite some time, according to my brother. So we enter her room and see it empty.
We run around the castle to search for her, until we find her at the entry. Apparently she was eating in the maids rooms, to evade the king, then searched for me.
I greet her from afar and she hugs me aswell, is this a new trend or something?
I decide not to ask who my father was, because I could honestly say I didn't care at this point. We report what happened at the village and she simply tells us:" Just stay safe kids."
We convince her to leave the castle in a few days and leave for the fake bakery store the elves made. In the backroom there was a trapdoor, with a lot of food and housing down there. Apparently the elves were prepared for war against humans all along.
She nods, as we disperse again. We didn't want the king to see us. As he came down the stairs, he looked grim. He walked towards me, but only looked at me calculating. Yeah, calculate. Like you would even know numbers above hundred.
I give him a few earlier made lies about where I was and then leave. I already achieved everything I wanted to in this castle.
The only thing left is one week of preparation, to conquer the capital and spread the news after we won. Elves and human generals already meet up in the dark, speaking about their plans. The generals of every division, every town assisted us. They understood the problem with the current path of the kingdom.
