A few days of laying around later, my back was healed to the extent that I was allowed to roam around again. Not alone yet, but at least I was allowed in company. Cecilia was open to anywhere we could go, as long as it was inside of Götterfels (Leprechaun capital they're currently in).

So the decision was up to me. Should I aim for information gathering? Or for simply fun with Cecilia... I am technically still injured and no one expects me to work, so both options are completely fine. My inner conflict was noticed by Cecilia, so she made a suggestion.

Cia:" Why don't we do both? I think discovering this whole city might be fun as it is."

Ce:" We still have some parts rather undiscovered, we could go and take a look at those."

Cia:" Thats what I was thinking of, it's not that crowded there either."

A crowd didn't really matter to me, but she might dislike crowded places, so I decide to give my okay. We quickly changed clothes in a familiar way. Once again, it was painful to change my clothes myself - so Cecilia helped me out. Wow, I had this leg for a while now, huh? Unexpectedly a new effect started to occur. She started to blush this time and for some reason that reaction got my blood boiling. I had my teenage phase behind me, so this is one of the things I still remember. Wait, if she changes my clothes while I am like this.... No that won't be good.

Ce:" Ummm, I can change my pants alone"

Cia:" ... You'd need to bow down and stretch your back for it though"

Ce:" Yeah, but... There might be a problem if you do it...."

Unluckily she looked down and full of hope I look down aswell. Nope. My hope that my loose pants covered anything was lost. It didn't really help that my size was... let's stay at 'not small'. I didn't really pay attention to it before, but after bathing with the other generals and a few soldiers I got a variety of reactions to it. Cecilia's slight gasp didn't really help me out either. The opposite, actually.

Ce:" ... You see the problem now?"

Cia:"..."

She still startes down there, holy eight gods!

Ce:" Hello?"

Cia:"..."

She finally takes off her gaze after biting her lips for some reason. She shook her head, as if clearing her thoughts then she looked up to my face again. Her eyes were glowing, the brown color lighted up by a margin. She started to play with her hair a bit, with a completely red face.

Cia:" ... You are right... There might be a problem, but... No you can change your pants yourself. I'll wait outside."

I've seen a less strong kind of reaction before. The girls that tended to surround me back at the bears paw had a similar one. I just had no idea what it meant, everyone I asked before didn't bother to answer. Laurin might be my best choice with that, he usually stays calm and is less reserved than the elves. I'll ask him tomorrow.

Noticing that my inner monologue carried on for quite a bit I rush to put my pants on. Like Cecilia predicted it did sting a bit. The now stiffer pants did a better job at concealing things better aswell, not that it was completely invisible, but at least it didn't stand up like a damn tent.

I pull the door open and walk outside, wondering where she'd wait. My question was rather unnecessary considering that she was leaned against the wall right to my left. She was wiping up and down her face with her hands, for whatever reason.

Ce:" Hey, I'm finished"

Cia:" Alright, let's go then"

The first minutes were a bit awkward, with only slight bits of conversation, it did change to a more familiar tone a bit later though. We visited the kings archives that she entered when hunting as a kid, to look if there were still any of the stored biography left. It was and with only a little of a plan behind, I use this place to ask her about her past. I honestly cared about her past, a bit hypocritical looking at how I didn't want to talk about mine.

Cia:" This is a rather long and hurtful story...."

Ce:" You don't need to tell me, trust me. I know how painful it is to get remembered of sad memories"

Cia:" It is not that I mind telling you, but I kind of fear losing the impression you have of me"

Ce:" Let's make a promise then. I hereby swear that no matter what happened in your past, it won't change my view of you as a person"

Cia:" Will you tell me about yours too then?"

Ce:" I can tell you most parts, but everything about my little brother - I will ask Christian to tell you. Is that okay for you?"

Cia:" I'd rather hear about it from you, I want to know how you felt. Sorry, but I don't care about your Christian at all"

Ce:" Sigh. Fine, I will tell you. After you did"

Cia:" Sure, but not here. We finished your generals suit a few days ago. It is entirely yours, yo no one else will enter there."

The way back was silent. Not awkward silence, but a tensing one. I'm not sure that I like it more than the awkward silence to be honest.
