Mr.Yan looked at Yumi differently, She was completely a whole new person. She was scary in every way you look at her, the aura around alone could supplicate someone.
Mrs. Lee was getting even more irritated at the mans ego. "Grandma have you started making plans for that "thing" yet". Yumi knew this would get her attention. All of a sudden old Mrs.Lee's mood did a 180. A smile grew on her face as she put Yumi's hands in hers. "Off course, how could I not, it's going to be the one of the happiest moments in my life beside seeing my grandson happy".
Roe was raging inside. His grandparents never really acknowledge him as their grandson nor have they said they're proud of him, but as soon as Ruyu comes in he was getting pampered by them. He was cherished by them and they gave him all they had, but he couldn't even be worth of their time.
"Yeah me too, but where's grandpa"?. Yumi looked around but he wasn't there. "Oh he's talking with Joe, he will be back soon". As soon as grandma finished, both grandpa and Joe entered the room.
Grandpa Lee has a very serious look on his face until he saw Yumi and Ruyu.
A big smile appeared on his face. "Finally your here". Grandpa Lee went past Ruyu and hugged Yumi. Ruyu chuckled at his grandfather's behavior. "Grandpa you're just going to go past me like that". After hugging her, he turned back to his grandson. "Oh hush, I have not seen her in months, unlike you". He winked at his grandson.Ruyu couldn't help but shrug and laugh at his comment.
That happy moment was interrupted by a loud *Ahem*. All four turned to look at Joe Lee. "Ruyu now that you have come back from your 1 year vacation, I need you to come to my office first thing in the morning to talk about some things". The temperature in the room dropped below 0.
Yumi saw Ruyu was clenching his fist, she knows he only does that when's he's about to lose his temper, and that was not a pretty sight. "Breathe". She was looking at him straight in the eye, even though he was looking at his father, but he saw she was looking at him by the corner of his eyes.
He tighten his fists with the anger in his eyes growing bigger and bigger. "I said breath". He turned his head to look at Yumi. She lifted her eyebrows. "What did I say". He looked at her for a few more seconds, before he closed his eyes and let loose the grip he had. He then turned back to face his father.
"Talk about what"?. Joe was a bit intimidated by Ruyu but he just cleared his throat and began speaking. "Empire Corp. if getting bigger, so let your brother run half of it, think of it like having a Co-Ceo". Ruyu smiled then it turned to a big laugh.
"You think I'll let Roe own and run half of MY company, the one I built from the ground, no way in hell". He had a big smirk on his face, as if looking at them in mockery, Well he actually. Joe was mad, he hated how he can't have a saying in Empire Corp. he never put his hand to help Ruyu make it, so when grew as time went on he regretted that decision.
"Ruyu listen, your brother can handle it". Ruyu's smirk grew even bigger. "I don't care if he can handle it or not, I'm saying he will never ever be able to own any part of Empire Corp. the only people who have a saying in it are only 3 people"
Joe knew the 2 out of 3 were grandma and grandpa, but how was the last. "Who's the third"?.
Ruyu smiled so happy to answer the question. "Well that person owns half of Empire Corp. and all of my other assets, and off course that person it the important one in my life". Ruyu smiled from ear to ear, so did Yumi hearing what he said, but off course nobody saw that.
